both parties agreed there were details of the take dwon service that were not discussed in advanceWe had a lengthy discussion the following day - where we both agreed the service of taking down lights should have been discussed - I advised the
client at this time that being weeks pregnant, I would not have been able to do that myself, as it was - the person who took down the lights was about 6foot and able to reach the high points with a ladder, I would have brought in a person appropriate to take the down the lights had I been aware - this also would have increased the cost of the take down service and would have reflected in a higher priceI have asked this client on Feb to give me their suggestions on to best resolve this situation, they have decided to respond by processing a complaint with Revdex.com insteadIm not sure what more we can do from our end to resolve this, but would prefer to deal thru Revdex.com instead of directlyWe feel it is unreasonable to expect a full refund when full service was provided and the only real issue seems to be about the lites which as mentioned above was never discussedIn response to making the clients family and friends stay to clean up - that was never said by either myself or anyone on my teamAt the end of the night, they decided to leave all their items in the hall at the front door without approval from the hall and in breach of their contract - at that point I did say they needed to get permission from the building manager who would be there in a few minutes, they were argumentative and rude to me and my staff so at that point I just told them to come back the next to avoid further hassle
Again I have asked them to come up with a fair solution but a 100% refund is unreasonable we would be willing to do a 25% refund to have this matter resolvedAlso we came back the next day on our own time and helped with loading the trailer with their items - this was not part of any agreement and we feel went above and beyond to help them

We will do whatever needs to be done at the end of the night
Usually Your caterers do all the clearing and scraping and putting dishes in crates and leave them downstairs
They also remove all garages relating to food service and put in the dumpster outside
Your bartenders should be clearing glassware throughout the night so your tables aren't too full with empty glasses

This was the response I received when I initially inquired about the take down serviceI feel as though the take down service should have inquired about our decor, especially if their quote reflects certain decorNo inquiry was made on their behalf
I had a phone conversation with Bottomz Up Bartending regarding picking our items up on the SundayAs far as I am concerned this was arranged
Bottomz Up Bartending required our family to clean the bar and kitchen before leavingAgain no where in the contract was this a requirement
The items I feel were not met in the service we paid for are the hanging lights, the bar clean up and the kitchen clean up
We did not breach the contract as pick up was arranged with Bottomz Up Bartending for the Sunday following our event
At this time, if they are not willing to do a full refund, I would ask for at least 50%If that is also unwilling I will take what they will give, but will remain unhappy with the customer service and the experience we had dealing with this company
I feel as though I did my part in initiating communication thoroughly with this companyIt is unfair for the consumer to suffer when communication is not present on the other end
