I ordered multiple items from Boundary on April 7,2019 under ORDER #*** and
ORDER #***. I ordered the items as Boundary's website at that time stated they would ship in a few weeks. It is now July 19, 2019. I've just received the partial order and it is missing items. The Aux Compartment, which is the most expensive item in the order. Is missing. Boundary says the item has been shipped but cannot give me a date or a tracking number for that order.

1st February - I requested a refund.

14th May - I requested a refund.

15th May - they began offering me discounts on the order.

15th May - I again requested a refund because they couldn't give me an arrival date

15th May - they again offer me more discounts

16th May - I again request a refund.

16th May - They offer me a BIGGER discount and tell me they can send me some of the items that are already available

18th May - I say no and request a refund again

20th May - Some of the items arrive (but no bag to put them in!) and I'm angry since I requested a refund

22nd May - I tell them I give them a deadline of 1st week in June as I go travelling on 7th and I want to use the bag for that. If not I want a full refund.

22nd May - They say it's "understood" and ask me if I want the 15% discount they've offered.

22nd May - I say ONLY if the bag arrives before 7th June otherwise they need to send a courier to collect all the items they sent to me and provide a refund.

May 22nd - They will update me if they will be able to fulfil this request

June 4th - I am told "the X-PAC Errant and MK-2 Camera Case, is being prepared for dispatch as we speak."

June 5th - I ask when will the bag arrive as I have a load of accessories and no bag to put them in

June 5th - I'm told 2-3 days.

June 11th - the bag still hasn't arrived and I've left on a trip. I request collection of the items from my mothers home and a full refund.

June 12th - I am told that the return shipping will be at my expense and that I have to return it to the USA not to the Netherlands where their fulfilment centre is.

June 13th - I make the point that the camera case STILL hasn't been shipped

June 15th - They offer it to me in a different colour for free and will swap it for the right colour when it comes in.

June 15th - I make clear my unhappiness at their business model and lack of clarity and their unprofessionalism in disregarding my instructions. I also make clear that they need to pay for any returns as per my previous emails.

June 15th - I'm told they have issued me an RMA number and they will inform me when the items will be collected by a courier.

June 18th - The RMAs arrive and I ask how the process works with collection of the goods since the 2 items they said were shipped out June 5th still havent arrived 2 weeks later!

June 20th - They have sent multiple requests for a tracking number for collection and had no response. They were still altering the design I'm told.

June 21st - I ask when the backpack will arrive. (I want it to arrive so I can return it and get the refund I asked for back in February!)

June 22nd - I case again to know when the backpack will arrive

June 22nd - They are still awaiting a tracking number

June 24th - the backpack shipped today

June 27th - The bag arrives with one of the accessories that was missing (Camera case still unavailable/wrong colour so they havent sent this) I ask when they will be collected. And ask for this asap as I want a refund.

June 28th - My question isn't answered but I receive a generic email saying that they respect my decision that I no longer need the bag anymore and directed to their returns policy.

A cowardly way to try and tell me that I have to return them at my expense.

June 28th - They have requested the bag be collected for return and are "awaiting approval"

June 29th - I ask how long this will take

June 30th - I'm told they don't have the facility to pickup I have to follow the returns policy. i.e. it is my responsibility to pay for the return.

July 1st 2019 - I refuse to return it without reimbursement. I'm livid at this point.

+ I made clear in advance the cost of return for these items would not be at my expense if they took it upon themselves to send them to me

Utterly unprofessional and a shambles of a company. Regardless of the politeness of their emails, they do not answer your questions directly and waffle on like politicians without any answers. They try to placate you but without clarity.

UPDATE

I agreed that I would return the goods. ONLY as long as they refunded me in full for both the goods and the return postage.

3rd July - Bags returned at my expense £49.71

4th July - I'm informed that as soon as they receive confirmation of the return of their bags from their warehouse it will take "2 billing cycles" to process

4th July - I ask for clarification on what "2 billing cycles" means... does it mean 2 months?

5th July - YES! 2 MONTHS TO PROCESS A REFUND!

So potentially by the time I receive a refund it will be September... ALMOST 1 YEAR SINCE I ORDERED THE GOODS!!!

Their website states: “All orders will ship within 24-48 hrs of being placed.” I placed my order on Nov. 23rd. 2018. After over a week with no update on my shipment I began to submit emails via the website(no business email address is listed on the website) requesting information about my order status, which was still listed as “unfulfilled”. After 3 days without response to my 1st email I sent a second. After no reply I sent a facebook message(their website doesn't provide a business telephone number) on Dec. 11th, 18 days after placing my order. On Dec. 12 I finally receive my first email response explaining that the MK-1 case(1 of 2 items I ordered) has “limited supply” which is why my order hadn’t shipped. I was told that new stock was to arrive “within this week”. I contacted them again on December 28th, 16 days later, their response was “we are just a little behind on getting orders out” and that “it should go out very soon”. It is now 51 days since I placed my oder and they sill have not provided any indication that they ever intend to ship my items. If an items is not in stock it should be listed that way on the website, at checkout, or immediately after via email. Communications on their end is infrequent, slow and opaque, their answers contain vague and deflective language.

In early November, 2017, I ordered a Prima System Ultimate Modular Travel Pack from Boundary Supply. (At $260 US, it is not a cheap product.) It is a new product and delivery was to be in December. Delivery was delayed to the new year and in the meantime I got a new (temporary) address. The pack was mailed, but was returned to Boundary Supply. I specifically asked for my address to be changed to my new/temporary address, but I was told it was not possible. The pack was re-sent in late February and again was returned to the sender. I was then told by Canada Post they did not forward packages, only return them to the sender. Since then I have not been able to track the location of my package. DHL states the shipper is required to track the pack. I have contacted Boundary numerous times and while they were helpful at first, now they just have excuses or auto-reply emails stating they will get back to me. They do not. I have requested a refund but they refuse to do this for me. I keep getting excuses and no one will give me a proper explanation. The refund I have requested is nowhere in sight. I have numerous emails but am not able to attach them.

I have contacted Boundary numerous times and while they were helpful at first, now they just have excuses or auto-reply emails stating they will get back to me. They do not. I have requested a refund but they refuse to do this for me. I keep getting excuses and no one will give me a proper explanation. The refund I have requested is nowhere in sight. I have numerous emails but am not able to attach them.

In early November, 2017, I ordered a Prima System Ultimate Modular Travel Pack from Boundary Supply. (At $260 US, it is not a cheap product.) It is a new product and delivery was to be in December. Delivery was delayed to the new year and in the meantime I got a new (temporary) address. The pack was mailed, but was returned to Boundary Supply. I specifically asked for my address to be changed to my new/temporary address, but I was told it was not possible. The pack was re-sent in late February and again was returned to the sender. I was then told by Canada Post they did not forward packages, only return them to the sender. Since then I have not been able to track the location of my package. DHL states the shipper is required to track the pack. Pledged two Prima System Backpacks for $350 over Kickstarter. I am backer 1,971. One backpack was delivered in mid-December, 2017. One item delivered, not two. After repeated e-mails and inquiries to boundary.com chat, Cavin and Elena, customer service reps over chat box, and comments to the Kickstarter community forum -- Boundary had promised multiple times that the backpack will be shipped in 24-48 hours... I have asked for tracking info... Then silence. There are dozens of backers with the same problem (see the Kickstarter Prima System community forum) all over the world. Boundary DID refund my addtional $50 (expedited fee required for guaranteed pre-Christmas 2017 delivery). I contacted Kickstarter -- and they essentially say "work it out with the project folks." The sad part is that the backpack product is high quality -- and was widely acclaimed by reviewers -- and praised by backers who have received the backpack. But, the repeated false promises by Boundary customer service and the e-mail circus (I have saved these) are at best irresponsible -- and at worst a veiled wire fraud -- in my opinion. Investments or pledges (on Kickstarter) fail -- I understand that -- but this Boundary appears viable and is marketing more (non-Kickstarter) products on their website. I realize a startup business is tough, but Boundary's customer service is both friendly and totally ineffectual. I would like delivery of the 2nd backpack -- that's all. It was to be a Christmas present. I am totally totally (did I mention totally?) frustrated with Boundary falsehoods.
