I have still tried several times to contact Dave M[redacted] at Circleville Lot where we purchased the Malibu and also Al C[redacted] OWNER and still no response. We have waited and waited not long after car was purchased to get this resolved about the factory body damage and all we get is accessories can be...

gotten for car or body shop can repair car. We bought a new car, not a blemished used car.Current Balance on car is $20,523.29 I do believe that issues such as mine and being neglected should be brought to media attention.

Our service manager wil be meeting with the consumer next Tuesday to resolve the issues.Pat D[redacted]###-###-####

11:57 am 7/13/2015 I left Mr [redacted] a message to give me a call so we could meet to inspect his vehicle. We will then try to get this resoved. Thanks

As stated above I visited the dealership and am satisfied with today's outcome. Just to clarify, I originally was only offered free mounting and balancing, not a discounted price on the replacement tires. The discount was key to my satisfaction today. I appreciate the assistance of the Coughlin service department manager in resolving this issue.

I have spoke to Mrs. [redacted] who said she was happy with the resolution I have provided her.

If you run your dealership like my deal I am not sure how you have any customers. I have had to deal with not ONE or TWO but several screw ups all in one deal that noone there wants to acknowledge or resolve. Why would I be satisfied. Noone would be satisfied with the way you all have mislead my offer from start to finish. You should be reported so customers know how you really treat people from the misleading postcard that you sent me in my home mailbox to screwing up my financing to switching out the Trax that I test drove and thought I was buying. What part of any of this whole dishonest transaction do you no understand? How can I give you back a vehicle when I traded what I drove there in and have no vehicle to drive? Unless you switched out my trade in also. I doubt that would have been acceptable, so why is it acceptable for you to switch out a vehicle I thought I was purchasing. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!

made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], the vehicle is at the pataskala shop waiting to hear back on repairs. Once repairs are made and vehicle is found to be in normal safe working condition I will be satisfied with this case.

In response to your letter, I'm sending an appeal. My 2005 Ford Ranger was purchased on February 13, 2016 from Coughlin Motors, Circleville, Oh.I drove it home Saturday afternoon and on Sunday I drove into town to visit with my grandmother. Icould not get the car to move. Coughlin towed the car into their shop on Monday and found the rear endneeded to be replaced. They had the car most of the week. This was the beginning of my problems. The truck was in for several service on several problems. I had the truck for the transmission, and eachtime the service tech would state he could not find the any problems. In May 2016 the vehicle was backto Coughlin for service on the transmission and the repair work was to be covered by the extendedwarranty. After several weeks the representative for the warranty company denied the claim. Therewas abuse and I didn't do it. It was done before I bought the truck.I paid $2400 for Coughlin to repair the transmission and I have receipts showing I paid for it. They founda used transmission from Sevan Auto Parts, with a 12 month warranty. I then picked up the truck onSept 16, 2016.The transmission started giving me problems in February, 2017 and I went back to Coughlin to see whatwas covered and what they would do for me. I was told they would not work on it.Coughlin recently called med and stated the transmission was repaired under the warranty. I stated Ihad receipts where I paid for it. They stated they would check into it. I told them I would not pay for asecond transmission, as they had a warranty on the used one they put in and the work should have hadsome warranty on it. It was less they six months since they did the work.Sincerely:

I'm very sorry for the hold up. I will make sure it is taken care of today. I will reach out to the consumer immediately.ThanksPat D[redacted]

I am extremely satisfied with the immediate, and timely response to the issue that I had encountered with the service dept. The resolution was swifter than I have ever anticipated. I appreciate a company such as Coughlin to quickly resolve the complaint as they did. As Coughlin, if I were in business I would respond in the same way as they did. A good company as Coughlin need not have a blemish of this nature applied to their resume. I deeply apologies to Coughlin for breaking the chain of command in order to get to someone that would actually listen to me. I attempted to discuss the matter with the service dept. but to no avail. Therefore, I attempted to contact the lead in the dept. only not to feel justice would have been served. The conversation was not to my satisfaction, and I knew not where the next of command led. Had I known where the next step was, I would have went to that level. It was my son that suggested I contact the Revdex.com of Central, OH. In fact my son purchased a 2015 chevy Sierra 4x4 King cab from Coughlin of Pataskala, OH. And he is very much satisfied.                 Thank you Mr. [redacted] for your timely, caring and concern with the issue I encountered. No further ado is necessary in further pursuit of this matter. As far as I’m concerned it’s closed and resolved. I’m extremely satisfied with the recompense Coughlin is preparing to compensate.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. I have spoken with [redacted]...

[redacted] and he has agreed to fix the damages and provide a loaner car in for the length of the process - should be done same day. [redacted] told me that he would have the body shop order the part, and that I would receive a call in a couple of days. In the meantime, I have scheduled for my car to be inspected, and photographs of the car have been taken and dated appropriately.
