Thank you for referring the complaint from [redacted] regarding the water service turn off due to non-payment The AZ Revdex.com does not oversee the operations of the City of Phoenix Water Services Department, however, we are willing respond to the complaint sent to the Revdex.com.The service for this customer was interrupted in early August due to a recurring unpaid balance on the account Although the customer has made incremental payments, the account has never had a zero balance since service activation in When a billing statement is generated and sent to the customer, the balance is due to be paid in full by the due date Partial payments will not stop a service turn off action In this case, a non-payment letter was sent to the customer on 7/31/advising of the amount needed to be paid by August 6, Unfortunately, the amount needed to avoid service turn off was not paid.Currently, the balance owed is $ Once that amount is paid, the service may resumeAlma H [redacted] City of Phoenix - Water Services Department

This email is directed to Justin Browning as municipal governments are not overseen by the Revdex.com.Following your phone call to the Water Services - Customer Service on Aug 30, the late fees were waived on Aug as a courtesy Your account billed on Aug with a balance due of $ On that billing statement, you will notice a credit of $- The current billing system for the City of Phoenix does not allow for automatic payments with credit cards, and we regret the inconvenience you are experiencing as a result Upgrades to the billing system are expected in the next year, however, we are required to remain with the currently contracted system until the end of that contract Again, we regret the inconvenience to you.Water systems are determined by municipalities which can provide the service If a Phoenix resident moves to another city, that city would provide the service If a resident lives in a smaller town or city, a private water company provides the service Water systems are provided by one source, generally a municipality, due to the expense of infrastructure, water treatment, system delivery and maintenance to provide the service.Sincerely, [redacted]

A local government, such as the City of Phoenix, is not a member of the bureau. The customer in question will be contacted directly.Thank you.*** ***Consumer AdvocateWater Services Department***

This is a repeat customer who submitted a complaint last month. The customer has been advised that the City of Phoenix is not under the jurisdiction of the Arizona Revdex.com as this government entity is not a member. However, the issue stems from unpaid charges that resulted in service turn
off. In addition, there was unauthorized water use due to meter tampering, which is a crime. The issue has not been submitted to law enforcement, however, for service to resume, the customer must pay all charges due and owing.Alma H***Consumer AdvocateCity of Phoenix Water Services Department

Thank you for referring *** *** complaint to the City of Phoenix Water Services Department. Unfortunately, the Revdex.com does not have oversight of government entities. As Ms*** has been informed on numerous occasions, the balance in full must be paid in
order to restore service. The last payment on the account was in March and the balance now exceeds over $5000. There were no errors in billing. Regretfully, according to Phoenix Municipal Code, service may not be restored until the balance in full is paid.Alma H***Water Services Dept - Administration
