I am rejecting this response because:  This is not a professional or thorough explanation of what is wrong with the Gas Water Heater.  Obviously the unit is not working properly, but it is still functioning.The work that Mark did on the unit was less than 5 minutes & then came the sales pitch to buy a new unit.Mark stated he was performing a 32 point diagnostic test on the unit.  How many things should be reviewed?  What exactly is wrong with the unit?It is clear to me they don't want to look at it again, so I will have someone else look at it.When I have the facts on what is wrong with it, I can provide more detail.  The details that they are unwilling to provide.  There hasn't been a leak since he left 2 months ago.  The cleaning was not thorough or complete.  If the unit needs a tune up or cleaning that should be specified.Quite frankly they don't know what is wrong with the unit, but I still have hot water.  Why is it unsafe?  What are the risks?  Give me the facts or give me my money back!

you asked that your mechanic be able to pick up the part, the customer noted this for you so that he could accommodate you. Your mechanic came in to pick up the part like you said he would, we did not tell him that it was here, we did not call him to pick it up. he came in with your name saying the part was ready and it was, so like you had asked, we gave him the part. We will not be refunding the money unless the part is returned to B&R Autowrecking.

I attempted to resolve this complaint, I called the customer on the receipt, and he told me he had no issue with the sale or the part and that it was his friend that was complaining. I then called the person that made the complaint, I asked them if there was a way we could resolve this issue. I...

explained to that person that the parts and labor warranty was not purchased and if it had been purchased we would cover this expense without issue, then I offered to split the cost with him and pay him $150.00, he told me that he would think about it. I explained to him that we would have to give the credit to the purchaser and he said that will not work for him. At this point the customer we sold the part to is not complaining about the product or the service so we do not see why we would pay someone who is not the purchaser of the product. They attached the copies of the invoice to their complaint, you can see the customers name is [redacted] and they have a different phone number. We are willing to work with our customer to resolve any issue they have with our product or service, but at this point there is no issue with our customer.

[redacted] is mine and my cousin [redacted] was with me when we bought the transmissionAlso you can see I paid with my personal card and when the seller asked my cousin what's your name he gave him his name as he was my speaker and he have knowledge about cars. All I want seller to pay the delay fee because he got late delivering the part. Also for the waranty he said it does have 90 days . This was a misunderstanding, I have spoken with this customer and this is resolved. We have another motor we are having delivered on Thursday.

I am rejecting this response because: The very point of my complaint was that the part I paid for released to someone who was in fact NOT the person I hired to pick up the part, but an opportunist who deduced that because there was only one available part fitting my car, that he would take it upon himself to pick it up and my actual mechanic did not. I was told that the mechanic had to provide an order number in order for it to be released to them, and this person who picked up the part did not provide that information, only my name and very basic information about my car. The person who picked up the part essentially held my part hostage and was ill-equipped to even do the work. I believe that any company the least bit interested in customer care would issue a refund for having put me through that horrific hassle.

We processed Mr. [redacted] order on 3/15/2016 for a transmission that he had ordered from our Graham Washington location. Mr. [redacted] had reached out to one of our sales representatives about the issues that he was having with the product that we sold him. Mr....

[redacted] was informed that he could bring in the transmission for exchange or refund if he had followed the proper install procedures that are stated on the back of our invoices and had accurately dated receipts showing so.
B&R Auto Wrecking warranty statement:
                “Transmission: This transmission is sold as an interchangeable unit with a 60 day warranty. We do not guaranty the exact year and model ordered. We remove oil pan and filter to inspect the unit. Customer Responsibility: Replace seals, gaskets, and filter before installing! Torque converter must be properly seated and aligned to the front pump. Cooling lines must be flushed of debris before installing. Some will come with NO fluid, please check and fill fluid to manufacturer levels. Failure to do any of the above VOIDS WARRANTY. This warranty does not cover leaks, switches, sensors or any labor charges. Please drain the returned core. B&R cannot and will not guaranty miles.”
B&R Auto Wrecking has procedures that our quality control staff follows before our drive train product is loaded or shipped out to the customer. It is pressure washed, drained of any fluids, removal of filters if accessible, marked clearly with the product stock number and stamped with B&R stamping (to insure that the product is ours).
Mr. [redacted] tried returning the transmission that he had purchased from B&R Auto Wrecking on 4/30/2016. Mr. [redacted] brought the transmission back within the warranty time frame of 60 days, he also brought in all receipts for the install that he did. When the transmission was brought back for inspection by our quality control tech and manager on duty we were unable to find any B&R stock number or B&R stamping on it to identify that the product was truly from our stock.
B&R Auto Wrecking has tried to contact Mr. [redacted] to inform him that we are open to re-inspecting the part to determine if the warrant is still eligible. We have been unable to reach him at this time but feel hopeful that we will be able to resolve this issue in an amicable manner with Mr. [redacted].

This issue has already been resolved between us and the customer. He has been refunded in full.

The check has to be written to the person that purchased the unit, so the name on the receipt. I would also need that person to contact me so I can get their information. As of right now I have not been contacted to resolve this issue. Also the agreement for for 50%. If you still want to hold up your end of the agreement you will have to contact me, please have the receipt number when you do as this will help out the process. [redacted]- Rob W
