This customer went to another business and had repairs done at a higher cost, that was clearly explained were needed and was declined by the customerWe can not control what customers choose to do or not do to their vehiclesand we can not control what people choose to believe or what happens due to their choiceswe can only be responsible for giving accurate and honest informationIt does seem a bit Odd that the customer didn't receive the check in the mail until I uploaded the copy of information showing it had been sent when they were toldmaybe the mail was just running extra slow

I spoke with Mrs[redacted] directly 2/1/and informed her we would have no problem refunding her for the amount she had to pay for replacing her brake padsMrs[redacted] is forwarding me the invoice for the parts she purchased and we will be processing her a refundI hope this has resolved the issue and that this complaint will be closed.Sincerely, [redacted] BrakewayOperations Manager

After reviewing the paper work from the repairs Mr [redacted] had done I show that we did rear brake shoes, rear hardware, wheel cylinders and replaced drumsMr [redacted] stated in his complaint that he was charged for resurfacing a rotor but according to his paperwork there is no such charge It's also documented on the paper work the we were unable to take the front wheel off due to the condition of the lug nuts, Mr [redacted] stated in his complaint that we damaged the lug nuts but from what I'm seeing the vehicle came in with the lug nuts already in that conditionUnfortunately from what I'm seeing on the paperwork I do not see what we as a company did wrongI will be including a copy of the receipt for the repairs Mr [redacted] had done with our companyAll the work is clearly documented and in the comment box is where you will see the description of the lug nutsThank you for your assistance with this matterSincerely, [redacted]

We use protective mats to help prevent the customers floor from getting dirty I highly Doubt anyone would steal a single floor mat to a Toyota Yaris or any other vehicleHowever If you can provide the receipt for the floor mats you had just purchased we can compensate for customer satisfaction

Tell us why herewe can not control what people choose to believe or say they believe or their actionsOur invoice that was acknowledged and signed by the customer stated they needed rotors and the customer declined to have that repair done by usThey did chose to have another shop replace the rotors at a higher cost months after we recommended to replace themWe have mailed out the check to the name and address that was given by the customerThe customer has used several different names and that may have created an issue for them if the wrong information was givenbelow is a copy of the email explaining when checks are sent outunfortunately I do not have a copy of the phone conversation explaining the same thing.*** ***Feb 8to***our billing department only sends checks out every other week

*** ***no they never gave me any refund as promised I gave him my full nameI spelled it out to himI also gave him the correct address they never sent out any refundIf so then I didn't get it and it did not come to the address that I gave to himIf he want to he could run a trace on the checkThey did not intend on giving me any refund at allIt's been over a monthEvery time I talk to these people I get different answers

on 6/27/this customer came in with the brakes grinding due to being worn past the brake material and a contaminated system due to someone putting motor oil or other non brake fluid into the master cylinderwith the customers approval we replaced the front and rear brake pads, resurfaced all
rotors, rebuilt the front calipers with new pistons and replaced the master cylinderthe customer did not want to replace the hoses due to expense or the rear calipers that were rusted with stuck/damaged slide pinswe flushed the system extensively to remove contaminant and airOn 5/29/17, years after the work had been completed the customer called to bring the vehicle in and it was explained that that location had been booked up with appointment however if he could drop it off we would get to it asapthe customer declined stating we should put him in front of the other customers that had already made appointmentsThe customer then decided to bypass the shop and call center that had explained the same and set an online appointment that is done through a third party and doesn't account for what has already been scheduled or what is in the shop (which we are working on fixing)when the customer came in on 5/30/we performed an inspection to determine the issue he was having with the brakesit was found the hoses were still needing to be replaced as they had swollen due to being contaminated and wont allow the calipers to release properly causing them to stay appliedit was also found the front pads had been worn again past the brake material and ground into the rotorsthe customer again declined to repair the hoses and other needed thing due to neglectwe did replace the pads under warranty however the issue with the hoses and other parts that were declined were never replaced per customers wisheswe have provided the service the customer approved and homered our parts and labor warrantyIf the customer wishes we will be more than happy to repair the issues found during inspection at the discounted price he was given
