Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The service manager at the Mini of Freeport Service told me that an oil change had nothing to do with brakes fluid when I told him that South Shore Hyundai did an oil change one time only For Mini Of Freeport to now say that South Shore Hyundai service did it is just a way of not taking responsibilities for what they have done to my carThe First thing Mini of Freeport told me was to call my car insurance and have them pay for the mechanical brake down I dint take my car to just anybody for the oil change, the oil change Mini of Freeport Service is referring to was done by South Shore Hyundai Service I gave a copy of South Shore Hyundai's Service report to the manager at Mini of Freeport He again assured me that he could not say it was South Shore Hyundai because as per South Shore Hyundai's Service report, only an oil change was done.All of my services since were performed by Mini of Freeport They were the last to have done the brake fluid in March as their records indicate.I do not trust them with my car anymore I like for them to give me the money so that I can service/ fix my car at a place I trust the mechanics and staff.Thank you In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

To Whom it may concern, On December [redacted] this vehicle was brought to us with a concern of Drive Train Malfunction light onIt was determined that the engine needed replacement due to many timing faults and metallic shavings found in the oilThe customers 3rd part insurance company was contacted and after many days of working with the insurance company, a Used Engine and Turbos was authorizedDuring the time period of to the customer was supplied a new BMW loaner vehicle to use On April [redacted] of the vehicle was brought to us with a concern of check engine light onIt was determined that the plastic intake manifold was crackedThis manifold came with the Used Engine supplied by the insurance companyOnce again the customers 3rd party insurance company was contacted and a new intake manifold was approved and installedAt the same visit the customer stated that the vehicle was using more oil than normalUpon that diagnosis it was determined that the used oil pan from the engine was leakingThis part as well was authorized by the 3rd party insurance company and replacedIt was also diagnosed that a used coolant pipe was leaking which was also authorized for replacement by the insurance company It was decided by the insurance company to supply used parts instead of using new BMW parts which would carry a two year unlimited mileage warrantyThe customers issue should not be with the dealer but with their 3rd party insurance company that they chose and paid the premium toBMW of Freeport was simply following the instructions of the customers insurance company There is no way of knowing or predicting what kind of performance a Used Engine will have in the futureThe insurance company is quite aware of thisOnce again this was not our decision to install a used engineWe are not sure why the customer would ask to be reimbursed for something the insurance company paid for? The customers 3rd part insurance company is GWC Thank you Dave C [redacted] Service Manager BMW of Freeport MINI of Freeport Office [redacted] ***

Currently MrP [redacted] is in a courtesy vehicle while we work on the issue with his vehicle keyThe Service adviser Kevin will continue to keep in contact with MrP [redacted] until the vehicle is fixed to the customers satisfaction

We have made several attempts, both by phone and email, to reach [redacted] to discuss his concernsto date we have not heard back from himPlease see below for our response We have issued a stop payment on the refund check that [redacted] has not yet received and upon receipt of a valid address from him we can overnight that out to him Please see attached copies with our notes explaining [redacted] ***’s other concerns Concerning the repair order in question where [redacted] thinks he was being charged hours for the repair of his Mercedes Benz shows that the number is merely a labor Op code which we need to prepare a repair order Also in the attached please find noted on page of the Geico document the actual amount of hours needed to repair [redacted] ***’s Mercedes BenzConcerning the additional work performed [redacted] did give a verbal agreement to our employee Dave for the work on the hood of his Mercedes Benz please see our documentation attached

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: My car might have been a salvage car but I have never encounter any issue with my car, I have been to more than one bmw dealers bAnd was never humiliated and was talk down to because my car was a salvage, which I encountered at this Particular dealerFrom the very moment I step in, they are very racist and speak down to black peopleWhich I even took up with the manger his self and when I asked for another manger he told me there was no other was no other, I said there has to be someone there thats higher than you he said no, so I then addressed the situation to him how customer service there was very nasty and I would never do business with them ever again, his response to me was he apologize and please rethink it in your heart, cause he knew he was wrong I never stated all of this cause I just wanted my car back the way I gave it to them workingI have read they reviews after and have spoke to people who has been there and realized how bad there views are and this is a common thing for them My car might be salvage but I have never gone to any other dealer and fell like I was in a nut shell or I did not belong there cause I was not driving a car In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:BMW reprsentative Chris C*** contacted me and told me that he was going to get back to meI never heard from him againMrC*** maintains that the warranty has expired, which is only half the problemBut in reality the documentation I provided him, indicates the warranty expires in 8/Happy to send to you. In addiiton, I paid almost $6,for a warranty and maintenance program, and the only thing they ever covered was two oil changesSounds unfair no? I spent over 3k on repairs and I was told they werent covered. In addition, I now need brakes, around 1k, and they had the nerve to tell me that the warranty is expired. I will provide you the email I sent to them shortly Just an FYI, not sure if you care, but I have contacted the Attrorney GeneralThey arent getting away with this.

In response to ID # ***
After reviewing the
above referenced complaint we found that *** *** was informed, signed
documents and received copies explaining the LIMITED warranty available on a
Vehicle with miles*** *** was also offered an extended
warranty
which she declinedPlease refer to attached documents
On December *** *** *** brought her vehicle to
our service centerAt that time we found cylinder coils 1, 2, were faulty
and replaced them at no cost to herVehicle was road tested and was in good
working order upon leaving our service centermonths had passed before the vehicle came back to our service center
on February *** At that time the vehicle was outside the term
of the Used Vehicle Limited Warranty so any repairs would be the responsibility
of the customer
At this point we have reached out several time to *** *** so we
could come to an agreement about assisting her with her vehicle but to date
have not been able to connect with herWe will continue to reach out until we
are able to speak with her

Our research to the complaint has shown us that *** *** has not been to our service department since December of and her Maintenance upgrade expired on May **,To further investigate and assist we have been in contact with *** ***'s regarding her concerns and will do
our best to come to an acceptable resolve

We are in contact with *** to arrange the removal of the dent at his location

*** *** was contacted by our Finance teamShe came in to the dealership and we were able to assist her with her concerns

When *** *** (***) contacted our service department about her concerns our service Manager reached out to our MINI representative for assistance on the customers behalfAfter reviewing the history of the vehicle and the customers concerns it was discovered that the concerns brought forth by
*** *** (***) would have been an issue immediately and could not have been done by our Service center. It appears that the other service center that performed her oil change no doubt contaminated her brake fluidThe concerns were re visited in September when a representative from BMW reached out to our MINI rep asking if anything could be doneOur rep indicated that "she would have to stick to her guns on this one"Agreeing with our Service Manager that the customer would have had an issue with the brakes long before had it been done during her last visit to BMW MINI of Freeport and that no assistance would be given for the repairTo show good faith we would be happy to offer a 15% discount for the work to be performed at our facility

During the course of our relationship with *** *** we have had several phone conversations with her and her Fiancé addressing all of the concerns they hadUpon checking the vehicle in our service center we found the car had stalled and the customer was stuck due to the negligence on her part
in putting Gas in her vehicleAfter discussing the findings with by our technician with *** *** and her Fiancé they agreed they would cancel this claim against us however we have found that once a claim is in process it may not be removed.Customer is happy and not taking any actions against usThis case should now be closed. Thank you

I do recognize that you guys fixed the issue with the bumper which was supposed to be done right in the first place but my issue is with the dent that is on my left passenger doorThis was not there before and I have proof from the pictures the insurance company took along with the pictures you guys tookI don't want to go back to this bodyshop and go through the same nightmare of waiting weeks to Get my car fixed I just want compensation for this mishappening

*** came to pick up his vehicle from our body shopUpon inspection small chip was found and slightdamage to the fog lightThe customer declined to take the vehicle and we were morethan happy to make it rightOur Body shop Manager Christopher L***acknowledged the
customers displeasure and put him immediately into a rentalcar free of charge as well as giving him a few other services such as rim repair on rims and a full detail withno charge to *** *** for his inconvenienceAdditionally we did the other rims for him at a greatly reduced price.On 06/**/the vehicle was picked up by *** *** and gone over verythoroughly by him alongside MrL*** *** was completelysatisfied at the time of pickup so to hear that he is having anissue is disturbing to us and we will have MrL*** contact *** *** tosee what can be done

*** *** did receive all refunds that were available to him from the policy issuerOne of the plans purchased was not refundable according to the terms of the contract and the contract issuerWe have been in touch several times with *** *** and provided him with the proof of the contract
terms which dictated if he was eligible for a refund, which unfortunately he was notWe even tried to get an exception for him and were denied
