My complaint is about Firestone Complete Auto Care on Clifton Park CTR RDClifton Park, NY I brought my car in for a tire rotation and alignment (I purchased a lifetime alignment a few years ago) I was told, after the mechanic inspected the Tie Rods, left and right, inner and outer, that they were loose and the alignment wouldn't be affectiveI was told in order to do the alignment the Tie Rods would have to be replacedTo show me how loose my wheels were they wiggled it manually by handI am certain they loosened the lug nuts so that my tires would wiggle to the touch.(This was reenacted when getting 2nd and 3rd opinions) If my tires were that loose, I wouldn't have been able to drive my carThe shimmy would have forced me off the road, even driving at slow speedsThe estimate to have the replace: $I left without any services being doneTo confirm Firestone's recommendations, I took my car for a 2nd and 3rd opinionThe repair shops I went to are: [redacted] s, on Cental avein Colonie and Tri-County Collision, also on Cental AveThe mechanics from each auto repair shop told my there was no problem with my Tie RodsMy tires were then rotated and aligned without any problemsMy car drives and handles beautifullyI also want to concluded with: very time I brought my car in for rotations, alignments, inspections and oil changes, I've always told that my car needs some recommended services and new partsI have always thanked them for this infoand have gone to my trusted mechanics for their opinionEach and every time my trusted mechanics have told me there is NO problem with any of the parts in question and that my car doesn't need any of those recommended servicesIt seems that instead of repairing cars honestly, Firestone likes to recommend and make unnecessary repairs to bulk their customers for their money

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It's an internal problem if the tires did not make it back to Bridgestone I was instructed with the last faulty tire to bring it to a Firestone store (which I didn't know existed or was the same as Bridgestone) After opening the complaint with Bridgestone after the last tire, I was told to bring that one to the Firestone Complete store to see what's going on and have it replaced I did exactly as told and you should have that tire in your possession There was a warranty claim number and everythingI've been offered absolutely no resolution and just keep getting excuses why you're unable to address my concerns Sincerely, [redacted]

On July 2016, I obtained a quote (code # [redacted] ) for four tires from the Firestone web siteOn July 2016, I scheduled an appointment for the tire installation Firestone Complete Auto Care # [redacted] through the same web siteA short time later, I received a phone call from Richard at the Firestone outletHe asked which tires I was requesting (does the web site not link the quote to the appointment?)I told him and he said he would check availability and let me know if the tires would be thereLater the same day, Richard called and informed me the tires were in Denver and would be on-site on JulyI arrived for the scheduled appointment at 10:00am on July and presented the man at the counter with a print out of the quoteHe clicked some computer keys and informed me that the tire I wanted was discontinued(!!) and the tire they had was more than the quoteThis is obviously a bait & switchI will do my damnedest to make sure others know of Firestone's business practicesBusinesses using this sort of practice should be shut down and I will do my small part to further this goal

Firestone, Have been a loyal customer for years, and months ago, credit service of Firestone reported a late payment to Credit Bureau without sending us a later noticeThis has greatly impacting our credit rating unfairlyThis is not ethical or legal way to treat a customer We were using auto care services, but have stopped using it since this incident

I have been going to firestone for over years, recently relocated to Texas and decided to go to this particular location, took my vehicle in for a simple oil change, turns out they messed it up bad to where I lost all power in my car and couldn't drive it When I called the staff was very rude and they were trying to dodge my issue, I ended up calling the 1-number on the back of receipt and same, they took forever to get back to meLong story short after about phone calls and lots of time wasted at work, I tried to get them to fix my vehicle, however it took weeks for them to get it back to meI called the store manager and he was basically worthlessHe doesn't help in any wayThese people do not take care of their customersI don't think anybody has to go through thisSO SAVE YOURSELF SOME TROUBLE AND DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE, or any period because I learned the hard way that they don't care about youAnd they don't compensate you for the time you lose trying to fix what they messed upIn my case, weeks without my vehicle

If it was possible to give no stars, I wouldThis location is one of the worst locations I have EVER had to deal withI have been a loyal customer for 15+ years and this location tried to scam me thinking I knew nothing about my carThey tried overcharging me for tire maintenance- replaced bent rim, and a brand new(purchased a month ago from difftires plus location) tireI was told it was going to be over $I called my car dealership and it was going to be $So after calling the tires plus I previously used before I moved, I asked why the tire wasn't going to be prorated like the other tires plus said, since my tire was brand newThey hung up the phone on me multiple times after finding out they were trying to make money off of meThey then put my spare tire on my car, WITHOUT my permissionI told them when I dropped my car off that I needed to save my rim because my spare was faulty and not safeThey ended up popping my spare and refused to replace it, when I told them not to use it in the first placeThey have had my car since monday and have not updated me on when my car will be ready...it's now wednesday

We do appreciate Mr [redacted] 's involvement in this matter, however the Firestone in Plainfield on [redacted] did not fix our problem we had to go to another Firestone in Naperville to get the necessary repairs and make it right We will never go back to the Plainfield Firestone as they were rude and [redacted] the manager there never called us back when he said he would when our vehicle was fixed in the other two times we took it there for repairsThey were also very disrespectful and we never received an apology for the way we were treated, nor did [redacted] apologize or explain to us why he never called us back to let us know that our vehicle was completed even though he said he wouldThey were very insensitive to our needs

Crooks Tell you your tires can't be balanced and rotated even if you have lifetime balance and rotation
