I put a call into Apex Heating and Air and asked to speak with *** who is the owner We exchanged calls but never did talk about my concerns of why their estimate was almost $more than the company I went with? *** told me in a phone conversation that the only thing she could think of was the company I went with must have done the labor for nothing? Why would they do this? There is no reason for a $difference in price other than taking advantage The company I used is a Carrier/Payne authorized dealer with a year warranty

They also included two carbon dioxide detectors in the price. They filed my warantees for me. They took the rebate off the bill for the air condition instead of having me file the manufacturer rebate.
They made out the paperwork for me to request an additional rebate with the electric company based on the SEER rating of the air conditioner. Then I just had to mail it in with my account number.
They scheduled the inspection with the town of Cary for me. The people who installed the air conditioner and heater were polite and cleaned up after themselves. I have recommended them to several co-workers.
Recently, I needed good, solid and honest recommendations for an IAQ problem that had existed at my home for several years. Just a few short weeks later, a second unit needed to be replaced. Once again, the technician was at my house that afternoon, and the second new unit was installed the next day. Both times I was presented with all my options, and decided, that based on the age of my units, replacement was necessary. With something so stressful has needing two new units in a very short time, I cannot tell you how much the folks at Stegall lessened the burden.
