Apex Heating & Air replaced a 20-year-old system at my home.

The sales process was straightforward; I never experienced high-pressure tactics or was presented with questionable information.

The install process went smoothly, and the techs were friendly and courteous.

Charged $750 for one hour of work. Said they are a flat rate company.. Attorneys who defend movie stars bill at $750 hour. Buyer beware . I will never use them again and will never recommend them to anyone other than someone who enjoys being ripped off.

I recently had both of my air conditioning systems replaced including the furnace and evaporator coil by Apex Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. The quote came in much lower than the bids I received from a regional and a national HVAC company. They were very prompt in answering all of my questions about the quote. I am very satisfied with the installation and start-up of the new Carrier units. They also rerouted some of the lines to the furnace that the builder had installed incorrectly on the original units. Apex HVAC also arranged for the city inspection permits, filed my warranty registration forms with the manufacturer and even submitted the rebate forms for my systems. Then they came out very quickly, diagnosed the problem with an electrical issue and replaced one of the existing HVAC breakers when it unexpectedly went out a few days later at no charge. I have been using Apex Heating & Air Conditioning (AHAC) since 2002. When it came time to replace my HVAC system I turned to AHAC. They installed an efficient system consisting of attic and below house furnaces and complementary AC units. I recently purchased a service contract from them. Their staff is efficient and courteous. They arrive close to the promised time and maintain my system. Recently, I needed a replacement for a fan motor and they tracked down the appropriate part in Texas and installed it as soon as it arrived. I will continue to use them to service my system..

Stegall offered excellent customer service from being on time for our initial quote, to offering the best quote we received, to being able to install our new A/C the very next day (on a Saturday!!). Andrew with Stegall offered service with a smile, was very knowledgeable, and was very kind and upfront with us the whole time. We were very impressed with Stegall and recommend them to anyone needing to replace your home's A/C - it's going to be a hot summer!! But, thankfully, we'll be sitting cool inside our home :)

Apex Heating & Air just replaced our HVAC system. We couldn't be happier with the service from our first phone call to request a quote (they came the same day) to replacement and follow-up. Everyone was so nice, helpful and pleasant. They were neat, on time and cleaned up after themselves in the house and even spread the mulch back around the unit outside after putting the new system in. (tidiness is always a plus in my book!) The quote was fair and they went the extra mile to file the warranty for us and rebate & explain everything. They told us about a Duke Energy rebate available as well to further save us money. We definitely recommend this company!

Apex Heating responded within an hour of my call for repair and replacement on a cold Monday morning. The installation team was in my home in another hour and they were polite and efficient. Old materials were removed inside and out. Great company with great customer service.

I would like to take a couple of minutes to Thank the team at Apex Heating and Air. I awoke to a very cold house in January 2015. My heating system was not operating. I called Apex Heating and Air and within a short time a tech returned my call and set an appointment for later that morning. After identifying the problem he located a replacement part in Raleigh. We agreed on a price for pick-up of the part and to get it installed. The tech returned and had the system running as good a new. To my surprise the invoice was less than agreed. He had found the part at a much better price at a different supplier. I will definitely use and recommend this company.

I thought the whole process was pretty smooth. Apex Heating & Air did a good job installing the unit for my downstairs. The guys were very professional and the staff at the office. The ladies in the office were very helpful and called to see how installment went. I would recommend anybody to them.
