Bristol Who's Who Reviews (105)

I have just been ROYALLY RIPPED-OFF by Bristol Who's Who! I have, since May of 2019, over the last few months, been offered these prestigious awards: Spotlight of the Month; Featured Member PR; and VIP MEMBER LISTING! Just about a week ago (Thursday, August 29, 2019), I phoned and asked to speak to my Account Director, Kevin Calloway. The woman responding told me that, "He will be contacting you by e-mail."
After waiting and waiting, I phoned them on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at 347-918-4474. I got a ridiculous message that this number was not in service, because it has not been activated! I then phoned 917-831-5569, and just keep getting a busy signal!
Therefore, there apparently is "NO ONE AT HOME!" So, have they just GONE COMPLETELY OUT OF BUSINESS? THIS IS A VERY CRUEL AND IMMORAL WAY OF CHEATING PEOPLE WHO TRUSTED THEM, AND HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED MANY OTHER AWARDS, FROM MORE DEPENDABLE COMPANIES! THIS IS CRUEL AND UNJUST TO US CONSUMERS, WHO ARE NOW BEING DEFRAUDED!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.  That said, I will not take back or apologize for any comments regarding this business' fraudulence.  Any simple web search reveals numerous examples and complaints regarding how this company did not disclose all of its financial terms upfront.

To reiterate, we do email our clients twice with information regarding the Perks Feature. We also sent a physical letter with the discount program's details along with a physical membership card. Information was also included during the conversation during the initial phone interview. A customer service representative has reached out to the client. This should resolve the matter. Attached you can find a signed agreement. Thank you.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Regardless of their claims, I have still not received professional updates or contacts, of any kind, since Aug 2015.   The 'magazine profile' they mention, did not include cover photo I sent (more than once); and the original text written by Bristol, was very poorly written, w/ 'facts' wrong and irrelevant platitudes.  A poorly written/edited profile is not going to represent me well, as a writer/editor.  At one  point,  customer service rep. admitted to me, profile writing is 'jobbed out' to a technician in India.  I said, that explains why so many profiles, seem like they are written by a 'robot' or by someone who does not speak English well, as a first language or otherwise.   They also admitted to me, yesterday, that social media dir. Rachel B[redacted], w/ whom I'd corresponded, was no longer working at Bristol, and they'd 'just hired a new social media person'.  I was counting on Bristol to deliver all the services and benefits promised to me, so enthusiastically, by their sales person, who hounded me for months to buy additional products incl a desk nameplate for which they wanted @ $1K!  I refused, but he kept insisting I had to buy it, which I did not. I think they may be  angry about that..  I would respectfully like to request a refund of my Lifetime membership, whose benefits lasted me, not even 9 months; and reject all the bad things they say about me, and my motives, in their reply.  I even offered, to write profiles for them, for free - to get in practice and to help what I thought was a very promising professional networking organization; as it was clear to me from the onset that despite her best efforts, Ms B[redacted] was in over her head.   Yours truly, [redacted]

[The original contract amount deducted from my bank account was USD 1,028-95. On the [redacted] December Bristol offered to repay me the sum of USD 1,023-11.This was acceptable to me based on the additional undertaking that the unauthorised further deduction from my bank of USD 199-00 AND USD 19-95 would be restored to my bank account as these were subject to a dispute with the Bank. There is a difference due to me of USD 205-79. There is no explanation from Bristol as to why I should be out of pocket for this amount

I attempted twice to send response below, to the email address indicated by Bristol.  The email address was rejected as 'invalid' and I was not able to transmit.  Please provide a correct email address, or have 'Nadine' contact me directly at [redacted].
"Nadine: I received this reply fr NYC Revdex.com, in response to the complaint I filed vs Bristol. The complaint, as you can see, was primarily to do w/ my disappointment in the lack of a continuing social media presence, after the departure of Rachel B[redacted].  As you can see on the Bristol [redacted] In + FB sites, I was one of the most active contributors, soon after joining Bristol".  "[redacted]". I look fw to hearing from you, and thank you in advance for your response.   [redacted]

The client called us to deactivate the Perks & Discounts Program in May of 2016, informing us that they had not utilized it. As a courtesy, we refunded them all of the charges.  The Perks & Discounts Program came as a free trial at the beginning of the membership. The client had the...

option to opt out, but didn’t inform us sooner to do so. Thank you.
