I purchased a NuTone Heat Pump/Air Cond. unit approximately 3-1/2 year ago. I have had repair techs. here 6 times in that time to repair this NuTone. First the outdoor coil was bad and had to be replaced by the company that sold it to me. Today I found out that the compressor has gone bad. Besides finding a hole in the conduit between the coil unit and the compressor and having that repaired, I have spent a lot of money for labor, etc. in having this unit repaired. Today, after exasperation for another visit to have it "fixed," I just bought a different unit from another dealer for $8,006. I'm hoping this will save me some money over the long run, but feel you needed to know the huge, expensive problems I have had with NuTone HVAC system. I purchased this unit from Hodges & Bryant, [redacted] 3-1/2 years ago.
