Excerpt from contract: "This agreement is by and between [redacted], hereafter "Client", and [redacted] LLC dba [redacted] by [redacted], hereafter "Company"" [redacted]. purchased the assets and liabilities of ONLY the West Hawaii Today property based in Kona, HI. [redacted] did not purchase either [redacted] or the [redacted] parent company. Again, this contract is clearly between [redacted] and [redacted] and NOT between [redacted] and West Hawaii Today. It is also worth noting that the contract provided to the Revdex.com by [redacted] is [redacted]omplete. Pages 1 and 2 are not initialed by the Client and the contract was neither signed nor dated by the Client as well. Lastly, the website and hosting of the website listed in this contract were both built and hosted by [redacted] (believed to be based in Las Cruces, New Mexico), a third party vendor used by [redacted] for contract obligation fulfillment. On August 23, 2015 the press at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser experienced a catastrophic shutdown. We made every attempt to publish a paper but we were only able to produce about 25,000 of our 145,000 run for the day. At about 4 am we made the call for our carrier force to deliver the...
Advance sections we had so we could provide most of the days paper. The next day we printed an abbreviated Sunday paper on Maui but the heavy rain grounded the aircraft for 3 hours and some areas did not received this Sunday version till Tuesday. We are sorry so many people could not get through to our customer service department, we received more than 10,000 calls in 4 hours compared to our average 200 calls for the entire day. We made every attempt to alert as many customers as possible. We provided the information on TV news, radio, phone, alerts on Staradvertiser.com, and email alerts for all our subscribers that provide their email. We sincerely apologize and have credited all of our customers a day.
