I ordered a Mosin Nagant from Bud's on Monday and received it today four business days after ordering itI was surprised when I opened the box to see a red letter IzhevskI sure wasn't expecting thatIt arrived in very good shape, and it came with a red letter bayonet, oil can, screwdriver/bolt tool, muzzle protector, and a few cleaning jags so that was a nice bonus too
The rifles bore is in excellent condition for a milsurp with strong lands and grooves, and muzzle wear is very good tooStock is in very good shape too with minimal dings and dents so that was a nice supriseTypical Russian refurb blue and varnish which is to be expectedNot a heck of a lot of cosmoline on it, and no rust spots eitherFeels like it has a thin film of oil on it which was nice to see
I was pretty skeptical about ordering from Bud's based on the reviews I read, but I am glad I didOrdering and FFL process was simple and straightforwardThe rifle I received is as good, if not better than described
I'm very happy with my purchase from Bud's, and would not hesitate to do business with them again!

Just purchased my second firearm from Bud's Gun Shop as an online customerI had to call customer service to make a minor change to my account and it was great!! The customer service rep was personable, knowledgable helped me out right awayI have never had anything but a positive experience with BudsThey are by far my favorite online retailer for firearms and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase in the futureThank You!

I have ordered several had guns from Bud's as well as other online stores Service has been fine, guns were shipped as promised and prices were in line with other outletsMy girlfriend bought a glock from Bud's for a birthday present for one of her sons and had it shipped to Casper WY from the store for him to pick up thereWe live in Iowa Had to the FFL in Casper earlier than promisedEverything went off without a hitchWe will definitely continue to buy from them

I was on http://www.budsgunshop.com looking at a S&W M&P15-it was listed for $after everything I bought on BudsGuns the total came out to be $Around 20min later I recived an E-mail saying that I owed them another $I then called and spoke with Eric (a manager) and told him what was going onHe said that there was not anything he could do about the price because the gun is now listed at $I then told him that I have pictures of the gun at the price of $and he said "we have 90,items on the store every once and a while there will be a pricing error on the site"I then told him that this was advertising and that no matter what the gun is listed you must sell it for that priceHe then said there is nothing he can do besides me pay the $or get my money back
Sounds like to me this gun is Click Bate for the websiteI will not be buying anything from them and I will let everyone know how well they treated me

I placed an order with buds on November 21, Being from a retail background, I realized that the holidays would push the shipment out some, and kept that in mind I called on the afternoon of the 25th to see if there was any update, as I was told Buds was usually very quick This being my first purchase of this kind on the internet, I wanted to make sure everything was OK The customer service individual I spoke with acted like I was a complete nuisance, and basically told me "yeah, your orders fine....." It was an extremely awkward call Fast forward to a week later, December 2nd, there was still no update on my order I called customer service, again, and was told by a female agent that it was "lost" in the electronic inventory and that she would call me right back as soon as she can track it down I never received a call back, so I called around 7pm and was told by another associate that there was no update, and she promised me that she would call me Sunday or Monday So, now, after 7pm on December 2nd, two weeks+, after my order, and I have no update, and the customer service line is so busy, it's just hanging up on people I'm sorry, but if a company expects to operate at this scale, they need to have customer service to back it up As a consumer, and a former retail manager, it is unacceptable to be two+ weeks into an order and still not be able to answer A)where the product is and B) when it will get to you Horrible experience

I recently made a purchase at Buds Gun Shop.comI placed the order on May 28th and by June it was at the FFL Dealer of my choosingThe firearm I purchased came in great condition, new out of the boxI received email updates along the way, though no tracking number for shipment, I was very pleased with how fast I got my purchase ( I live in Texas)Not having to deal with customer service at all because Buds gun shop.com does it all right the first time? Yes pleaseI would highly recommend doing business with buds gun shop

I hate to give a negative review because I am mostly disappointed
First, on some sales, Bud's offers a "Make an Offer" option This was not originally offered on my purchase
I made a $purchase of a firearm (non discount price) Less than hours later, the pistol was offered on the site for $less WITH the "Make an Offer" option (which would have impacted the way I purchased the firearm) When I used this option, I found that I could have purchased the pistol for $(cash discount price) I would have used this option had it been available
NOW THE DISAPPOINTMENT - I have read on other forums about Bud's notorious "Customer Service", but had never experienced myself I have bought several (in the last months) firearms from Bud's in the last years I called wanting them to refund the difference Immediately, the person I talked to became VERY defensive and tried to instigate confrontation Long story short, I was transferred twice, and hung up the phone while waiting for the third
I'm almost ashamed at how much money I've spent with Bud's in the last years yet I was amazed that they were willing to blow me off over such a small amount I once said that Bud's Gun Shop was the "Walmart" of online gun stores - and I was right!!!! Cheap prices sometimes - Good prices all the time - but in the end, NOBODY that gives a damn
This marks the last time I will have anything to do with Bud's - regardless of prices Nor will I recommend them to anyone I deal with I can guarantee Bud's this - The loss of my business and the business that I direct away from them will cost them more than the $they got from me over this last "DEAL"

Outstanding product at a great price, fast shipping, secure coverage

I've bought five or more rifles, shotguns and handguns from Bud'sMy initial experience was that their prices were lower than my local gun stores and the checkout process was painless (as long as you use one of their preferred FFLs)In addition, Bud's can be useful for finding guns that are not often stocked where you liveI had no issues with my first several orders
However, with my most recent orders, I've had a different experienceFirst, they are almost always out of stock of anything desirableThis is not their fault at allBut when I found out they had the Mossberg shotgun in the configuration I wanted, I pulled the triggerA few weeks later the shotgun arrived
You should always check over your gun before accepting the transferAs I looked over it, there were huge patches of rust, on the barrel, the bolt face, and chamberIt was in terrible shape, and I'm surprised they even shipped itWhen I called, the customer service rep told me they would take it back, but couldn't replace it, because the one I had ordered was the LAST shotgun of that make and model they had
I returned the gun, and later called, asking if I could substitute in another shotgun insteadThe other Mossberg cost $more than the one I had purchasedWhen I talked to the customer service rep, he seemed to have an attitude, and made sure to tell me I would have to pay the $differenceNow this whole process took over weeks, and I would think an organization as big as Bud's could float the $15.00, or even better yet, reduce the price of the replacement shotgun
Any decent company with good CS that I've ever dealt with has been willing to eat a little loss in order to make up for their mistakesWith Bud's I got some guy with an attitude and my card was upchargedI ended up cancelling the order and buying elsewhere
Fast forward to today, I put in two orders for two different handguns, both of which were in stockMy FFL is a ways away, so I try to buy guns, ammo (I'm in NY state, ammo requires FFL) in a way that minimizes my need to travel and the associated transfer feesI got an email saying there was an issue with my orderI called up Bud's and spoke to a CS rep (Chris I believe) who told me that one of the handguns I had ordered was not in stock and that it was a "listing error"
In disbelief I tried to understand how that was possible and what could be done, since I had ordered both handguns and a lot of ammo, all of which was to arrive hopefully next weekHis response was that there was nothing I could do but add the gun to my "wishlist" and then if it becomes available I would be notifiedI asked him if he could just make sure that I get the next ones that come in stockHis answer was "I can't login to your account for you."
I told him I would like to cancel both gun orders as the whole purpose of this was to get them both from one place and delivered at the same timeHe seemed to get a little on guard after that and the phone call ended with a "Thanks for calling." *click*So now I have a bunch of ammo coming from two different companies and I'm waiting on a refund from Bud's for both of the guns, while back to the drawing board in terms of locating them
I would say that Bud's is kind of like the Walmart of the gun buying worldThey have decent prices (though there are lower prices if you check gun sale databases), it's fairly painless when it works, and they have terrible customer serviceIf you don't care about customer service, and are willing to take a gamble, I would recommend them
If, however, something goes wrong, do not expect much of an apology, and certainly don't expect for them to make it right

Picked a shotgun I liked on there website, I choice to do a in-store pickupWas notified via of email when my firearm was ready to be picked up (took about days)Went to the store to pick up my shotgun was greeted as I walked in and was helped immediatelyTold them why I was there, he went in the back to get my shotgunI opened it there took a look at it, did some paper work was out the door in minutesGreat place!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BAR NONE!!!
I asked that my gun be shipped in a timely manner and was treated with no cooperation
They had my money it was debited from my account I asked that item be shipped so I can receive it before I move and was met with indifferenceI complained about this got a call from *** whom I chewed out about his customer service and was told he was not going to ship and canceled as he seemed to be exercising his control over the situation
I am a business owner and would always try to help my customers out, this organization after many emails and phone calls asking nicely would not budge
I am surprised they are still in business

I have had no problems with Buds Gun ShopI have asked for order changes and special request to change from a layaway gun to another as I change my mind on productThey have been most helpful and a pleasure to deal withI even joined team Bud All businesses have issues from time to time but I feel Bud's employees do their best to work with their customersI like Bud's and recommend them to friends and family

I had ordered a gun online they took payment and the desided that they did not want to sell it to me because I used my wife's card even thoe the gun/ background check would be done in my name it was fine told them just refund my money and I would buy somewhere else took weeks and weeks to get my money back (they wanted to charge me a restocking fee) got my money back after I told them I was going to file a complaint on Revdex.com was very very rude to me

I have utilized Bud's Gun Shop four times in the last four years and have yet to find fault with this companyThe key to a good transaction with this company is first of all READ and FOLLOW the rules that are printed to make the transaction a smooth oneBe SURE of what you want before starting the purchase processContact your FFL holder and inform them as to what you are doing or about to do
I have always been VERY pleased with every transactionI was prompted all the way from order to delivery concerning my order and the firearms came to me boxed well and in good conditionI am extremely pleased with all of my transactions with this Company

This was the first time I've purchased from buds, and I must say the convenience of ordering with local ffl info on file, and a good price will make me a repeat customerI also made two separate inquires to customer service via email and received a response within hours which was great

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS RETAILER! Check their complaints on the internet! I wish I had prior to my purchase! "
