[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:So it becomes very important for people to understand how I was scammedI had called budget moving on 08/03/and told them all the items that need to be shippedThey gave me an estimate of $I asked them to come to my place on 08/04/to confirm the estimateThey said they will come and confirm the estimate When they did not show upI called them to let them know their people did not show upThey said don't worry we will meet you on the moving dateWe will take care of everythingThey showed up on monday and asked me to sign bunch of papersOne of the papers which they kept with them and did not sent you is the one where I have written that packaging supplies were never discussed with me After writing that note I signed the paperI called the budget moving company to tell them that separate charges for packaging were never told to meAll I was told was that you will charge me $They said don't worry about anything just sign the papers and we will take care of everythingSo I signed the paper with the note that apackaging was not discussedI hope these people send you the copy of that paper tooThey did not sent the copy so that they can hide the way they scam peopleThey had not even discussed any fuel charges with meIt was indicated verbally that $includes all the feesThats the reason if you notice I had put the question mark against the fuel and then signed it after being assured by the manager or person I spoke to and being told just sign it we will take care of it99% items on estimate match the things they shipped to the other houseI have the copy of items which they gave me handwritten to prove that they did not do any extra workThe items on estimate match the hand written items they shippedI will attach that copyHaving said that after they reached my place they made a big bill of $and refused to let my items down from truck unless I authorise the payment I called the budget moving and said this is wrong" I understand the estimate can vary by $or $when the items given to you in estimate are same as what you have been written on the paper by your mover which have been shippedHe refused to listen to me and said we will not put the items down unless you authorise paymentAt that moment I had no choice but to give up and sign the papers and authorize the paymentsI did not want to loose my stuffIf you check the estimate they have written big weights on the stuff like bed -455lb, dining table - lb , bookcase - 143lbI have attached the pics of the stuff too to prove how these people lie on the paper and make people sign the papers by giving verbal confirmation that everything will taken care of and then hold the stuff hostageFinally make people pay the exorbitant priceI don't want other people to be scammed and want my money $back which I was charged extra Regards, [redacted]

What a great experience! – I had a wonderful experience with this moving companyI needed a company who would help me out, financially and professionallyI found both with Budget Moving and Storage! From the moment that I called to get an estimate, the gentleman was very understanding about my budget and even help me with a discount! Every one knows that some moving companies hire workers that don't care about the people's things, but not with budget Moving and Storage! When moving day came, the gentlemen were so efficient and delicate with my items, which I truly appreciate till this dayI am so amazed and overjoyed with my entire experience and I strongly recommend to everyone this company!!!

I just had a bad experience with them as well! Somehow I was billed $for packing suppliesI was only moving a studio apartmentI already had boxes and packed everything myselfThey only provided two wardrobe boxes ( which I was told it was included with the moving quote I was given) Long story short, I had my belongings held hostage in the truck until I paid the bill they presented...at that point, there was nothing else I could have done (maybe I should have called the cops) when they had all my things in the truck and the movers attitude was something like " oh yeah...what are you gonna do?" I tried calling the company, but surprise! The number that I called to schedule the move and to confirm the move was no longer functional...Using this company is one stupid mistake I will never make again! If you choose to go with them, be careful! They will nail you for packing supplies that do not exist!

I am rejecting this response because: what was written about me being hostile and threatening is falseI kindly approached them about the failed product, and they sent me old, used, nonworking partsI have never dealt with such a small minded person(s) in business before! I still have the parts they sent me to prove they were used, hardware marking, dings and rust! Live and Learn is the lesson here, all I asked for in the end was a purchase agreement # between manufacturer and the flop business I purchased from and Brittany couldn't even get that rightPoor business ethics! Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT use this companyI was quoted incorrectly (lbs incorrectly) and then charge me $extra for weightAlso charged me over $for packing supplies when all of my belongings were pre packed; but done so "incorrectly"I did not see the list of prices per box before hand eitherThen charged over $for days of storageWhen I called to confirm my delivery for the weekend I was told, "We'll TRY to get it to you on the day we agreed, but technically I have daysSo okay?" To respond to Mr***, He ordered lights from us through Paypal back in These lights come with a year manufacturer warranty We are not the manufacturer We directed him to the manufacturer and have continued to help him get this resolved even though he has been very
threatening and nasty We sent him replacement parts out of lights that we had in stock for his issue, once he got the replacement parts, he messed them up due to installer error We have went above and beyond for him and still are We have spent quite a bit of money shipping him parts Ultimately he has to deal with the manufacturer to get more parts which they are located in China Mr*** has threatened us and been very hostile towards me and the owner Please let me know what else needs to be done to get this matter cleared Thank youBrittany P***

Originally the move was scheduled 12-2 pm , but due to earlier move we had a delay .The estimate was for a 3 men crew and we added an extra men for being late - NO ADDITIONAL COST FOR IT !The crew finished an hour earlier and we did reimburse the customer for this time .There was a minor scratch on...

the driveway per her description we also did reimburse them another $75.00 Total reimbursement back to customer was $150.00 which she did agree and signed a release settlement form .A check was mailed to [redacted] for the amount of $150.00 on 7/5/16 , see attachment .Attached you will find release signed , check and cop of BOL !

I did not want to loose my stuff. If you check the estimate they have written big weights on the stuff like bed -455lb, dining table - 208 lb , bookcase - 143lb. I have attached the pics of the stuff too to prove how these people lie on the paper and make people sign the papers by giving verbal confirmation that everything will taken care of and then hold the stuff hostage. I am rejecting this response because:the details provided by the respondent who was not there is in error.  
I did not require their packing materials because I provided everything EXCEPT the 2 wardrobe boxes.  They used MY packing boxes, MY tape, MY bubble wrap...it was ALL MY packing materials to start with.  They provided none of those things.  Early on I saw them wrapping a lamp with bubble wrap and commented to the worker not to do that, I would do it.  I told him I didn't want to pay extra for that.  He responded with "Relax I am using your materials not mine, you are only paying for my time."
And of course I signed the paperwork and gave them my credit card.  What choice did I have.  It was already on his truck at that time and when I said I didn't agree with these material charges he said ok senior, I will just drive away with your Furniture, it is on my truck.

Charges were consistent with the services required by [redacted] and the rates described on the estimate and in our tariff. [redacted] approved all services as evidenced by his signature on the Combined Uniform Household Goods Bi of Lading and Freighi Bill,We regret that items may have been damaged during transit.
