I am replying to the complaint number ***. This was in regards to E-toll charge and customer service. I have
contacted Ms*** letting her know that $charge for the E-toll use would be removed because she was improperly notified of this policy. I have already contacted my corporate team to release the funds. In addition I will be speaking to my agents that work that day and conduct an investigation about her customer service. We strive to be the best in customer service and therefore I will not take this customer’s response lightly. Once the investigation is completed we will train the associates that worked with Ms*** to better assist other customers in future We would like to thank you for making our team aware of Ms***s rental experience

Hello,
I am currently having a rental car. I had booked this car 1 month back. I do not have any issue with the car or the reservation. I am emailing to check whether proper action has been taken against the customer care personnel with whom I had interacted over the phone few days may be on Nov 15th around 8:30 pm.
Let me explain what had happened during that call. The day I had made this reservation, I used a coupon MUEZ006 ([redacted] off a weekly rental) and another was an offer code BCD R657000 (save up to 25% off). So been using 2 coupons I would definitely expect them to reflect in the bill. I did receive an email with the receipt (or call it a confirmation). On checking the receipt, I found only MUEZ006 coupon was applied. So I decided on Nov 15th, 8:21 pm of calling the customer guys (1-[redacted]) can and see what happened. I was talking to this guy, who was really nice and helpful. He told me that only the MUEZ006 coupon was applied but he could see on his system that the offer code BCD R657000 was used by me but had no effect on the total amount ([redacted]). He then tries to remove the BCD R657000 code. To both of ours surprise on removing the BCD code, the price went down to [redacted]. It is amazing to see that on using a code the price goes up. So I was confused with the purpose of the code which says up to 25% off. So this guy he offered me to call another number 1-[redacted] and log a complain here.
I understand the meaning of 'up to' 25% off. I may get 0% off to 25% off. But never had I expected the price to go up. So I decided to give a call on the number provided by the customer care. I was talking to this guy who was rude, crude, impolite, disrespectful and boasting. I asked him, why would the price increase instead of staying the same or getting lowered! He told me that 'each location have a different guidelines and rules, so I must read the terms and conditions before using the coupon or the offer code'. I understood what he means by this. But I still could not relate to why would the price increase on using the offer code or rather why would the price drop on removing the offer code. I again asked for the same explanation. Then his behavior changes. He started boasting, saying 'you do not understand, should read before making a reservation, you should be happy that the price went down by removing the offer code' and was going on and on without listening to my concerns. I asked him to calm down and listen to what I have to say. He literally started laughing. I felt dejected at this point and thought I should hang up the phone. His laughter has really demotivated me to make another reservation with budget. I am very sorry to say, I do not feel that this is how budget representatives are trained to treat their customer. I do not want to raise the issue by saying that I felt discriminated because of my Indian accent, but yes I was dejected and upset after that call. I just want to assume that his reactions were not for my accent and was his ignorance during the training classes by budget.
After several attempts to calm this wrongly-trained person, I thought of talking to his manager, who was calm and read to hear my complain. He did promise me to take proper actions against this guy. So I am emailing to verify whether proper actions were taken against him.

Horrible, rude, and recommend you run the other way! Budget has no corporate regulations, and can make up the rules as they go. No joke. We are currently fighting a thousanddollar rip off, and even after admitting their mistake, they don't wantto give us our money! Not tomention that the servive is terrible, and theyare so rude, it's as if they are the only company in the world. Stay away.
