The device had a 2 year warranty starting on the purchase date of May 17, 2015. Regardless, this device SHOULD NOT break even after the warranty expires. As I said in my complaint, these things just don't break unless they are abused. The only way they break is by a manufacturer's... defect.
I have contacted the rebate company. They have approved the submission and are cutting a check for the rebate today and will mail it out to the consumer. I have emailed the consumer as well
Contacted the rebate center and authorized payment of the rebate even though the purchase price for the scope fell below the price limit set by the rebate. Rebate company will reach out directly to the consumer with confirmation of payment. Thanks
