Review: On March [redacted], 2015, I visited a website [redacted] in an effort to purchase a business license for the state of Alabama since I previously utilized this company to handle other business documentation for me when I lived in New York. Unfortunately, at that point in time, I did not know that [redacted] actually contracts with a 3rd part (Business Licenses) to prepare all pertinent paperwork for an individual to submit for approval for their business license. At any rate, I purchased a Business License Compliance Package for $199.99 on the aforementioned date and I was advised that all pre-filled documentation would be emailed to me, ready to file with my state, within 3 - 5 days. After a months time, I contacted [redacted] when I had not received the documents via email. I knew from my previous encounters that the company was extremely diligent with their customer service and I was a bit perplexed at why I had not received anything. I was told by [redacted] that they don't handle business licenses and I had the wrong company although my invoice clearly says [redacted] on it in addition to Business Licenses. At that point, I went through my visa statement in an effort to get contact information for the company who billed me. Due to my work hours, I was unsuccessful in contacting the company since they are only open during business hours Monday - Friday. As a final attempt to recover my funds, I contacted my bank to dispute the transaction since I never received any of the paperwork I was promised. My bank issued a temporary credit for the funds while the bank went after the merchant. Today, I received a letter stating that my bank reversed the credit because they were unable to retrieve the funds back from the merchant. The merchant is proclaiming to have sent me the documents on March **, 2015. Unfortunately, I have no documentation and I am out of $200 for services that were not rendered since my bank cannot further dispute the transaction.Desired Settlement: I would like the merchant to give me my money back. At this point, I would have thought that if the merchant would have made an attempt to mail, fax, or get me the documents when they became aware that I filed a dispute for not receiving them. Poor business tactics and I don't even want the documents from this company now!

On 3/**/15 we emailed the product the customer ordered on line on 3/**/15. The product included both a research report detailing what licenses, registrations and permits the business would require, along with two business license application forms filled out with information the customer provided, with instruction on where to sign each form and where to mail each one to the respective licensing authority office. The first time we were made aware of the fact that the customer did not receive this emailed product was on 6/**/15. On that date we received a “Charge Back” notice from this customers financial institution. On 6/**/15 our Customer Service Department promptly tried to contact this customer by phone but was only able to leave a voice message with a request to contact us regarding her claim/reason for charge back. Our Customer Service Department never received a returned call from this customer, until 8/**/15. At that time our Customer Service received a voice message from this customer claiming thatshe did not receive the product and to call her back on one of two phone numbers provided. We promptly called this customer back the same day and left voice messages on each phone line.Although there may be a number of technical reasons (due to no fault of our own) that resulted in the customer not seeing or receiving our emailed product (i.e. our email went to her spam folder which could have been deleted accidently), we maintain a position that we are entitled to the amount received ($199.99) as we prepared and emailed the product to the email address the customer provided. However, for customer service relations we are willing to offer a partial refund of $100 with the understanding from this customer that with the acceptance of this refund offer, this complaint would be resolved.Thank you for your assistance in this matter.Sincerely,TZ M[redacted]Accounts ManagerBusiness Licenses, LLC.
