Review: Was called by BSO in 8/**/2015. They claim I owe them over $900 for online business listing. I have never heard of this company and have never authorized any listing. I asked that the company produce proof that I signed any document or otherwise authorized any advertising. I was told that finding the original documents could take "up to 2 months" to procure. Later that day I was faxed an invoice dated 12/**/2014 that was due on 12/**/2015. I get calls from companies like this at least once a month and they all say the same thing.Desired Settlement: I want this business to quit calling me. I never authorized and listing and advertisement. This is a scam

Review: They have faxed or and called about money owing for an online business listing. When asked for proof they fax over an invoice and tell me once that is paid my account will be closed. I do not owe this money, this service was never approved. She just called again as I was typing this. I told her we would not be paying this and she replied it has to be paid. I told her I needed a signature or taped recording. Said she was working with archives to get this. We will see if I ever get anything.Desired Settlement: For them to stop contacting and trying to scam me, along with others.

Review: To start when Mr Mike S[redacted] called he said he was from **. Which we do business with the real ** that formerly was [redacted]. As we started with the conversation, I thought this was the same company. As we spoke some more I realized we weren't talking about the same company at all. He faxed me over the letter to close off our account if we paid what he wanted and found out they weren't ** at all. They are Business Search Online. We have been approached by this company on three occasions saying we owe them money for on line advertising with them. First two times it was by a Jason at ext #[redacted] that time it was on Dec *, 2013, then it went away. Now I have been approached several time by Mike S[redacted] saying we owe $995.00 for doing business with them. So he sent me a letter telling me that if I pay a final payment of $500.00, he will waive all interest and late payment fees with no further obligations to his company. In addition our account will be added to their "Do not Call Database". I have heard that before and then 18 months down the road we hear from them again telling us we owe them more money. I need some help to resolve this problem. The way they catch people in their scam is to say they are with ** and they seem to know that we are doing business with the Original ** from [redacted]. I am sorry but we are not going to keep paying for people or businesses that misrepresent themselves as another company. If you need copies of the invoices and additional correspondence you can contact us at my email address.Desired Settlement: I would like this to be resolved and that this company no longer contact us and to no longer use the name of ** in their beginning conversation when they call. To me this is misrepresentation of themselves to unsuspected customers like ourselves. Once you agree to go with the reduced amount is when you find out you weren't even talking to a ** representative.
