Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The dealership made the $tax mistake and it should be taken care of by the dealership Further, their errors and oversight have cost me $2000-$in lost income Making one payment of $for the month of December is appreciated, but only a fraction of my losses I have told the dealership that they should take care of at least a few payments to make this right for the enormous headache they have caused and the detriment to my income especially at Christmas time.Warmest Regards, Remey Rozin

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter. If you pay 30,for a jeep and the problem cannot be resolved am I just supposed to sit back with a loaner car that is transportation but not what you paid for? The dealership should take care of their customers especially if they would like referral businessI proposed that between the dealer and jeep corporate they split the difference of about 10,dollars for a new (my jeep which they offered me about 20,plus their 10,Dealer and corporate were open to it at first then both sides changed their tune and still have my jeepCurrently I have been in a rental paid by them for weeks sure that's not cheap plus several other times they have tried repairsI bet the dealer has spent tons of money in trying to fixThey also suggested taking to another dealer to repair why would another dealer want to touch someone else's problemWondering what other jeep owners might do in my situation

I understand that *** *** would like his Jeep fixed and so would weHe said it still leaks and asked that we bring him a car to use while we try again to fix it and we agreedHe really would like a new Jeep since we are having a hard time fixing this oneWe are not willing to do such a dealWe are willing and happy to try again to fix his JeepWe have been frustrated as the Jeep did not leak for usOne of the frustrating issues is that we water test it and it does not leak, yet it does at other times. I did call *** *** after he had his Jeep back for days when it rained almost every day and it he confirmed it did not leakHe said it does now though after he removed the topsRemoving and replacing the tops should have no effect on water tightnessWe must be overlooking somethingWe did refer the Jeep to another facility and they could find nothing wrongWe have spoken to the Chrysler Service help line for assistance

*** *** did come here and work out a deal to lease a JeepHer Dad/co-signer lives nearby. We did make a mistake on the paperwork and need a new contract signedBy then, she was in Chicago and we had to do the
re-signing through the mailWe used overnight express letters. After submitting the new copy to the bank, we learned that the bank would not accept the contract as written due to the way we computed the taxes. We later found out that Chicago has a double tax ruleIn the city, you pay 9% sales tax and a 7.25% upfront sales tax on top of the 9%This was an extra $in taxes due if you live and lease a car in Chicago
We agreed to pay those taxes, even though we gave her a super-competitive lease going in. I personally spent about hours calling places trying to find out how to do this deal and get the paperwork correctI was told at least different answers even though two of my calls were to Illinois government officesI called the Illinois Auto Dealers Association and got no helpI called the number on the Lease Use Tax form and got bad information I don't know what we could have done differently.
So, all this takes timeWe had to overnight paperwork between *** ***, her co-signer and the bankWe even offered to make a payment for her because of her inconvenienceEven though the paperwork is not processed, the monthly payments are still due on time.
*** *** wants us to be responsible for what she might have earnedWe don't promise or give coverage like thatWe are anxiously awaiting the paperwork to fix this

Regards,
[redacted] I have never received a call or email from these people as this person stated.

Dear [redacted] we pulled the Safety check everything checked out except Brakes and rotors on front were replaced. Also a tire rotation and oil change. I understand that in your complaint that Kia fixed your concern and Kings Dodge paid for the battery and alignment. I pulled your paperwork...

and noticed you turned down the Service contract offered to you at time of purchase. We don't control factory warranties the Mfg. does so that is out of our control. I will send you a 50.00 check for gas reimbursement and I will cover oil changes performed at Kings Kia only! I will also have car re cleaned next time you bring it in to Kings Kia. I am sorry for your inconvenence. Warm Regards [redacted] GM at Kings Dodge    [redacted]

Kings CJD contacted customer and had them bring vehicle back into store. We found customers problem and repaired to his satisfaction.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I had informed them that I had not driven the Jeep as I was now in possession of another vehicle to drive. tested it myself three times. It does not always leak. It is not as if we haven't tried. We have provided [redacted] a car to use while we try. A couple of times after we pronounced the car fixed, it sat outside in a down pour and leaked again. So now after any attempt, we let it set outside, which takes time.
We even sent the Jeep to a body shop to exam in all the roof panels in case we were overlooking something, which we might be. Mr Dickson has lost faith in us which is understandable. He has asked for a new Jeep since we are having trouble fixing his. We are not willing to do that. I did suggest that he is free to take it somewhere else if he gets the impression we aren't trying or aren't motivated to fix it.
We did offer [redacted] a special deal on some requested modifications to his Jeep to make up for his inconvenience.

We contacted the customer, picked his vehicle up and gave him a loaner car while we fixed his Jeep. We replaced the hinges that were bad and also completed a oil change for him. Cleaned car, filled with gas and taking back to him. Customer seems ok at this time.  We had a miscommunication...

at the desk and this customer fell through the cracks. I have discussed the issue with my team and made some process changes to make sure this doesn't happen again.
