Buyback Boss is not an honest business They purchase cell phones from people over the the internet The seller answers a series of questions describing their phone to the best of you ability and they give you a quote You send them your phone, they inspect the phone and send you the money for your phone In my case I accurately described my phone and they agreed to pay me $ I sent in my phone and in a few days, received a message from Buy Back Boss saying that I needed to go to iTunes and take my phone off of my iTunes account If I did not do this, they could only give me $for my phone I followed their exact directions and went to iTunes and removed the phone and sent them an email stating that I completed the action A few days later I received another email saying that I needed to go back to iTunes and complete another action I went to iTunes and followed the link they provided and there was nothing on iTunes with the description they requested I then searched the entire iTunes site and nothing came up using the verbiage they supplied After notifying them that I was unable to complete the action the only option I was given was to either have them send my phone back or accept the $ I have talked to local phone techs and they do not understand why they kept coming back to me requesting me to complete tasks after they had the phone in hand They said that Buyback Boss has the ability to wipe the phone from their location without me getting involved
It is my opinion that this is a dishonest company that creates artificial circumstances in order to obtain phones at rock bottom prices I feel that most people will just concede to their low offer and not bother with the hassle My intent is to warn others and to document this companies practices so others are aware of their intentions to purchase people's phones below the agreed upon prices

BuyBackBoss.com's price for my iPhone started out to be very attractive, so I accepted their deal & sent my phone with a brief note stating I had missed a scratch on the case and would understand if they dropped my price by $as noted on the website quote page I was shocked to have them respond upon receipt of my phone that Siri wasn't working and the value went from $to $60! Knowing the phone was in excellent working condition, I requested that they return it to me with the original packaging I had included Amazingly, the next morning, Siri had self-performed a miracle restoration and the phone was back to the excellent condition it was in when I sent it to BuyBackBoss They ended up honoring their original price but, in my opinion, tried to cheat me with their BS notion that Siri didn't work Sellers BEWARE!
