Review: Contracted C&C Construction/[redacted] to remove pantry and widen dining room entrance. Wallboard mudding had imperfections. When installing finished floor strip they cracked it with nail. Presume they are no longer in business since I have phoned both brothers several times, leaving voicemails the last two contact attempts.Desired Settlement: Wish to keep others from making the same mistake I did, if they are not already out of business. Craftsmen they are not.

Review: approximately a month ago signed contract to have work done on repairing my front porch . he has failed to show up on two occasions to start the job and now does not answer his phone when I call or respond to messages left on voice mailDesired Settlement: finish the job as soon as possible or return my money

Review: My husband and I contracted C & C Construction to rebuild a deck and privacy fence. The contract was written to start in November of 2013 with 1/3 of the cost due at the time construction started with another installment mid-term to purchase product to complete the project and the remainder paid upon completion of the project. The owner, [redacted], seemed to be an upstanding honest business owner that had been in business for 20 + years. The project began and seemed to be moving forward as discussed, however once the second installment was paid to [redacted], we did not see the contractor or his brother again! We have made several attempts to contact the owner, with no response! It is now February of 2014 and the project is incomplete and what had been completed is not up to code and much of the completed work is poor craftsmanship and will need to be corrected. It is very clear that [redacted] is a thief and should not allowed to call himself a business owner! I am in the business of providing customer service and clearly this is not a good example of excellent customer service, but more of a con-artist service! Buyer beware.. this is not a company that anyone should consider, because this is simply a con not a company!Desired Settlement: A complete refund

Setup an appointment for the owner to come provide an estimate on a laundry room. He did not show up.

Left him a message asking him whether he was coming and he called back very apologetic, ensuring he would come another day. When he failed to show up at the second date I left another message stating we would be moving on. No return call which I guess is understandable after two failed attempts to get him to come.

I hired C & C Construction to remodel a shower in the master bedroom. The shower plumbing was done wrong (cold water line and hot water line were directly connected outside of the shower panel) and I had only cold water in the whole house because of it. I had to hire another plumbing company to redo the shower connection. I had hot water after the plumbing was redone by the new plumber. I took before and after pictures of the shower plumbing and sent them to C & C Construction (Frank C[redacted]). Frank C[redacted] responded with profanity and said that his way of doing the plumbing was the right away. He also told me not to contact him ever again.

Review: I was told on Aug. 23 by [redacted] that I would receive the remotes for our garage that he built when his son got back from Florida. He said they were left in his truck that his son borrowed to use on the trip. His brother came to complete flashing on porch/sunroom roof but did not have a ladder to get onto porch roof. [redacted] left me a voicemail that he would be out that following Mon., Aug. 26, 2013 to paint the flashing black to match roof shingles and complete job. On Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013 a man comes to our home looking to take the garage door off our new garage or see if I had spoke to "[redacted] because they still have not been paid for the door & opener that had been installed weeks ago. This guy works for [redacted] with [redacted]. They still have my remotes to the opener. [redacted] lied about them being in the truck his son borrowed. They kept them until he paid for the job. I called and spoke to the owner, [redacted]. He said he has made numerous calls and cannot get anyone to call him back now. At first, they just kept telling him different days that they would be there to pay him, but now his calls are never returned. Our calls were returned until we let him know we knew he lied about the remotes. We just want the remotes, flashing and porch issue addressed and fixed.Desired Settlement: We want remotes to opener, black flashing installed on roof (porch/sunroom) and adjustments made to porch where water in leaking off side not going into gutter, leaking in middle of porch between siding pieces?? and shingles on last roll at bottom are raised. This may be why it is leaking in middle of porch. If they do not want to come out and complete it themselves, then I expect them to pay someone else to do it.

Carlylle Owenby built my house (xx xxxxxxxx Dr.) 5 yrs. ago. I moved in June 2008. There were issues then & in less than a year more appeared. He came out & attempted to fix some in a most unprofessional manner. He said he would be back. I called him & left messages for over a year. He never answered the phone or returned my calls. My front door is warped with a big gap at the top. Both bathrooms have cracked ceilings. The master bedroom has 3 cracks in the walls & 1 in the bathroom. One sink fixture is not sealed & leaks, and the other sink has a stopper handle not attached. Nails are coming through the sheetrock in ceilings. He drove a large nail through the baseboard to stop the pocket door from going in too far. I have Mr. Owenby $170,000 to build me a quality home. Almost everything I have. I am not happy in this house because of the mess he left me with. Also, interior doors stick.
