reference to moving in July. We do keep all emails received.As far as the bill, it consists of services and a modem. The customer did call in and spoke to a representative to add the mac address of their own modem on 3/25/2016. At that same time a voice mail was left to the customer to include returning the modem belonging to our company. At a later date, a technician came to the address on a trouble call. He did not pick up any equipment nor give customer a receipt for said equipment. We extensively researched the inventory system records and the modem shows still assigned to this account. We are open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday and 9:30 am. until noon on Saturdays and we take in equipment during those hours. Billing does not stop until all equipment is returned and or for nonpayment.

this address is much further back off the road. A call has been placed to the consumer with all information in regards to costs and time lines. We are awaiting a call back from message left.

Cable TV of East Alabama did not address in their answer that they had advertised
that they were increasing the signal strength but they did not in their ad mention
that not only would customers have to pay for the increase in signal strength, and if
they didn't more subscribers would be added in the neighborhood reducing the
strength from 3 mpbs to what is 2.1 during prime time to 2.7 otherwise and their
technician even reported 2.7 after I installed a new, better, router, but before the
signal dropped from 3 to 2.7 down to 2.1, the old router was working fine and is still working
intermittently since the drop. I do not want to get anyone in trouble but it was admitted to me
by CATVEA employees that the addition of more subscribers in my neighborhood usurped that
portion of the signal lowering it to 2.7 down to 2.1 at peak times, it rarely hits the 3 mpbs we
are paying for and when it does it soon drops. ALSO, they did not even deny that I was promised
a price adjustment on my bill for losing service several times during the Olympics due to their
adding subscribers nearby. At almost $160 per month we are suffering a loss of signal, frequent
total loss of service, and they want more money to get us back to the 3 mpbs which we previously

I have had other people check out the prob they say it is and they say problem is not my fault and I feel the east alabama cable is not fair to customers at all poor service and cust service
