I came into contact with this company through poshmark.com. In communicating with the business, I was trying to negotiate with the seller on the price of a shirt which is a given option on the website. The shirt was listed for $20, I offered $10 with 7.99 shipping. They declined, which was fine and perfectly within their rights. I left a comment asking if they were willing to negotiate on price and they said they had higher offers than what I was offering and looking to get at least $14. I left a message saying I'm more than willing to pay $14 if there was a way to bring the shipping down to $3.99 as they are only 1 state over, and asked if this was a possibility. They responded by blocking me. I am thoroughly disappointed in the company and the message this conveys.
On April 26, 2018, Dr. *** (DCS) and *** Enterprises (***) entered into a Contractual Agreement for *** to distribute (live shows) via YouTube Channel and Facebook Live and Record the Dr. *** at Chicago State University at their launch for the Innovation Lab.
The Role as described on the contract states:
Live Media Production & Photo for the Dr. *** taping at Chicago State University on 4.27.18. *** did NOT adhere to the contractual terms and no YouTube Videos were produced. Facebook Lives were done, but the show was supposed to be one show, but ended up being 5 mini shows. Mr. said "he would deliver as promised." *** was paid in full on 4.27.18
The Terms and Description are as follows:
*** and his Production Company to provide technical and professional services for the Dr. *** to go live on 4.27.18 - from 2:30pm-3:30pm and to include pre-and post show production. Payment to be made in full on the day of the Show. Content will be delivered to DCS
(To date no content has been delivered to Dr. ***)
The WORK PRODUCT OWNERSHIP.
Any copyrightable works, guest list, ideas, discoveries, inventions, patents, products, recordings, or other information (collectively the "Work Product") developed in whole or in part by *** as it relates to The Dr. ***, will be the exclusive property of The Dr. ***.
Dr. *** and its representatives have made several attempts to receive its Intellectual Property, and have notified Mr. with a registered letter that all content is due to DCS by June 11, 2018. No response received from ***.
In addition, *** is also housing Intellectual Property for The Dr. *** (DCS) for a taping on 5.6.18 in Perryville, Missouri and that full content is due to DCS on June 17, 2018 and no response has been received. At this point the Intellectual Property is considered stolen and damages have amount to over $25,000.
Hello Dr. ***I have yet to receive a response from you regarding my previous email. Mr. has completed all of the chronological editing for the Chicago and Perryville's shows. This was available as of last Friday, June 15, 2018 for you, but I didn't receive any response from you. All awaits is payment of $1250 from you for Mr. services. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Please note that *** DID NOT deliver the Chicago State University Taping and he was paid in full $550 and he cashed the check. The statement made below is incorrect. The Show was to be delivered via YouTube and Facebook Live simultaneously on the day of the Show. The Show was only delivered via Facebook Live and to date no video has been provided to us, either via Vimeo or other form of industry standard Video format. We've made several attempts to obtain the information and to date nothing has been delivered to us. At this point because *** is housing the intellectual property of Dr. *** and Dr. *** as noted in our Agreement it is considered stolen and will be reported as such. He does not own the rights and property to any content related to Dr. ***. On 4.27.18 *** recorded a Dr. *** and payment was made in full in the amount of $550 (big mistake) lesson learned. Edited video in a format that can be used was NEVER delivered to Dr. Carolyn.
