Caldera Spas Reviews (1)

The framing structure of my Aventine Spa by Caldera has rotted because of inferior materials used to build the foundation of the tub. All the decay to the wood materials was hidden by the maintanence free materials that skirt the exterior and cover the inner workings, i.e. Pump motor, tub, etc. The tub is 8 years old and has performed ok over the years and there was no need to investigate what was behind the veneer panels until an electronic pressure switch needed to be replaced. This was the thing that exposed all the decaying issues with the framing and foundation platform the spa was built on. I advised Watkins Mfg. of the problem and sent several picture that showed the extent of the deterioration. The customer service rep., Ben Harper acknowledged receiving the pics and said I would hear back from him by the end of the week. That was 4 weeks ago. I guess I should have asked him in what month or year. To date no reply has been received even after several attempts to contact Me. Harper have been made. I would never recommend the Caldera brand Spa to anyone. I would also get a warranty on the framing and all internal materials that are required to build this or any other spa you are considering.
