Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Call Me Van Lines states that their move was weight based When I booked with New Amsterdam Van Lines, a full inventory of everything I was moving was given to the representative The dispatch manager stated they had a truck with lbs of available weight that would be picking up my thingsHowever, when the move was contracted out to Call Me Van Lines and they arrived, I was told by the movers that I was estimated at cubic feet The movers walked through the house and stated that our things would take up cubic feet and they would have to give me a new estimate based on that space At this point, New Amsterdam was contacted and told me that I was being charged $a cubic foot, so that I could calculate out the price myselfSo obviously, this move was based on cubic feet and not weight Call Me Van Lines also stated in their response that I added more items than were on the original inventory Nothing new was added to my inventory list and, in fact, we decided not to take large pieces of furniture that were on the original listAlso, when the movers were finished, they were unable to fit several items that were on the original inventory list including a full size mattress and box spring, a large vase, a coffee table, and a bookshelf I had no choice but to abandon these items at the house as I had no way to ship them at this point So not only did I not add any new furniture, chose to leave behind large pieces of furniture, but they were unable to accommodate multiple items that I wanted to keepMy original signed agreement was with New Amsterdam Van LinesCall Me Van Lines had different terms and conditions that I felt I had no choice but to sign, given the circumstancesAfter the movers were hours late and so much time had been spent going over new pricing, it was too late in the day and other business had closed preventing me from renting a truck myself or hiring another company I had to be out of the house that day I had no choice but to accept the new terms and, unfortunately, the drastically increased price While the movers were disassembling furniture, they did not have all the proper tools and had to use what tools they had which resulted in damage to some of the furniture, particularly the dining room table After the movers had left, I noticed that they had left all the hardware for all the furniture I spent approximately hour walking around all the rooms, feeling through the carpet for the screws that belonged to the bed frame, dining room table, and futonAfter the movers had packed the truck to capacity, I noticed that they did not pack of the dining room chairs I asked them what I was supposed to do about the chairs, to which they shrugged their shoulders They stated there was no room on the truck When the mover presented the final paperwork for me to sign he stated there was a section where I could write comments if I chose, indicating I could write good comments about themI asked him if I was to write a good comment, if they would fit the remaining chairs on the truck They stated they would, and then were able to accommodate the final dining chairs To hold up my end of the deal I felt I must write that they had done a good jobYes, Call Me Van Lines can respond stating that I had agreed to policies and proceduresYes, I didBut I felt that I must sign since I was under time constraints to leave, and I felt coerced and bargained with to sign certain documents and write certain commentsAlso, Call Me Van Lines did not address the issue of my being told that I could pay for the move with credit card and then once my things were in their possession, this statement was retracted and I was given no choice, due to finances, but to pay for a moving truck with a credit card and retrieve my things from California Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Sorry for my delay but I’ve been traveling and it took a lot additional time for me to find the rejection as you have to go into the Revdex.com account and to write this emailI copied and pasted the notice I found in the Revdex.com account which is a response signed by yourselfI’m unclear how you or the Revdex.com doesn’t have this informationI have spent months and many many hours trying to get some type of resolution from Call Me Van LinesThey have made no attempt for a resolution I run a business myself and am a very busy person as most of us areTherefore, it is difficult to continue to take time out of my day to continue to contact CMVL or the Revdex.comFirst, the response from CMVL through the Revdex.com was in no way a resolution nor could it have in any way be construed as a satisfactory response from CMVL I have photos, emails and phone messages regarding the damage, missing items and etcI have sent all of this information to CMVL along with their claims form as they requestedThey then submitted it to their “3rd party claims company” which I’m not isn’t owned by CMVLHowever, I then finally got an email from the claims company who wanted me to fill out all of the exact same claim forms and submit all of the photos and documentation againCMVL refused to forward the information to the claims company which I was told they would do a the beginning of the claims process David Kohanim, the owner of CMVL, wrote the response through Revdex.comHe is 100% aware of the situation as he is the one I spoke to the day my items were suppose to be deliveredI even had his cell phone numberDavid is the one who changed his mind at the last second to refusing a wire transfer of funds or a certified cashiers check from Wells Fargo which is the bank CMVL banks to only accepting cashI was under severe duress since I had been living without furniture or personal items for nearly weeksHe changed his mind to only accepting cash for no reason whatsoeverHe said if I didn’t give the drivers cash, they would take my belongingsI had to drive over miles one way to the nearest Wells Fargo to exchange the certified check for cashI had received an email a few days earlier stating they would accept a check or wire transfer giving me their wiring informationI offered to wire the funds so I wouldn’t have to make the drive in severe weather, but David Kohanim refused! It has been months since I submitted the claimI don’t understand how it could be taking this long nor I don’t understand why I never get any type of an updateI have emails to CMVL asking for updates and I never get an updateAlso, items were not improperly packed by meI had the items packed by professionals in my local townI didn’t have CMVL do it because they were very expensive and the nearest CMVL location to me is over hours awayCMVL cannot say it was improperly packed by me since they do not know how anything was packed This statement "The items included in your claim such as the dish sponge, piece of Tupperware, among dozens of other like items were improperly packed by yourselfof our crews many attempts to have your items repacked properly, you refused to allow them” is a complete lie and they have no documentation of suchThe person crew showed up one day late, loaded the truck and leftMy items were packed and taped inside brand new Uhaul boxes which I have photos of such boxesAdditionally, I didn’t submit and type of Tupperware as he claimsI sent of photo of a plastic item that was destroyed to show them how badly things were handledThis item is virtually unbreakableI notice how he doesn’t address the boxes that were damage, water damage, ripped, opened and clearly retaped by themHe also doesn’t mention how the movers said the truck was 100% empty when my brand new iMac was still missingI called the dispatch who then spoke in private with the mover after I threatened to call the policeSuddenly, they found my iMac in the truckVery suspicious!!! A simple apology from CMVL is NOT an acceptable resolutionLet me know if you need further informationI have a ton of more information I can give you with emails, phone calls and photos Regards, L [redacted] ***

This company gave me a quote of $to move my bedroom apartment, when they came to pack me they sent a sub contractor who quickly doubled the original quote and told me if I didn't like the revised quote I could use another company, needless to say he had me by the [redacted] because I needed to move out of my apartment that day and get to my destination to start a new jobCall me van lines never discussed a sub contractor during negotiations and would not assist meOnce my furniture arrived to my new location they called and told me there may be an additional $charge because the truck probably wouldn't be able to access our apartments due to the size of the truckCall me a crook van lines should never be used by anyone reading this reviewThey also have an employee named [redacted] ***who shouldn't be trusted

Virtually everything about my move went very smoothly. From the initial conversation the salesman, to the packing of my household goods, to the final delivery, there were no surprises. All of my goods were accounted for and, so far, nothing has been broken (which is a first for me!). I highly recommend Call Me Van Line and would definitely use them again if I ever move.

to complan and the ask me to send them copy off the paper work for this job DOT cheek all paper work and told me I work by the book and the will call here to let here knoe she sign the revise estimate and the can't help here please be advise she book this job whit a brooker and she sign whit the brooker she have pices and I have copy off the inventory whit pices this is 50% more please let me know if you need copy of the paper work call me van line do over jobs a month for long destance and yes sam pepole have to complen because the go whit brooker and did not ask for a salsa person to cam and
