SHITTY MOTHER FUCKERS!!!!
When I told them that the facility that I was trying to connect with wouldn't pass their expectations,then I ask them for a refund. I've not heard a word from them. So here's what I'm saying and pass it on! If the facility your trying too connect with rejected because of the number Calling Today provided for you want work and they want refund you your money, then let every one know who they are! Because they pray on people that are trying to connect with their love one. WARNING!WARRING! HEAR ME! DON'T US THEM!

Scam you as easy as 1,2,3!
Calling Today should be investigated by the federal government for obvious misrepresentations in the service that they actually provide.

Specifically, they pride themselves on having a 1,2, 3 step system that is simple and easy to lower your phone costs for calls to your loved one in jail.

Step one, get assigned to a special local number. Two, give the special number to your loved one in jail. And Three, start saving lots of money.

It is all lies. Everything on the website contradicts itself and there is no way for you to know that you are paying for only a local phone number which in my case I already had. They knew when they took my application that I had a local number, yet failed to inform me before I paid them $35 for a service that would not work for me.

I'm now asking everyone out there to look at the Three steps claim made by this company and if I am correct, maybe someone knows an attorney who would be willing to start a class action lawsuit in order to get everyone's hard earned money back to them. Calling Today needs to be exposed for their borderline fraudulent business practices.

That is your official company line however it's a crock of misrepresentations. I thought it was only 3 easy steps to saving massive amounts of money? Look below at what I'm going to post now because this is going to be with opens up the class action lawsuit against U criminals for stealing off of people who work so hard to support their loved ones in it that are incarcerated and you are worse than criminals that are locked up because you steal from us. I hope this makes press and it makes the federal government's watch list and that you go to be incarcerated for lying again on this forum!

What about your claims of simple as 123 to save massive amounts of money?

Apparently you did not have an attorney set up all the garbage you have on your website which contradict itself everywhere. That is really going to hurt you guys in the end because when you have to pay everyone back in a class action lawsuit you will realize that you should have had an attorney from get go you cut corners it shouldn't cut and you're trying to make us pay for them. Take a look at my pictures below and it's proof is in the pudding so they say.

And, if it wasn't a save money on all jail calls, Why would you company say don't tell the institution phone provider that you are saving so much money through calling today. It is such a 6 set up that you make people believe they are going to save hard earned money when in fact you just stealing our hard earned money!

Keep your eye on here. I am trying to get a class action lawsuit going and reporting them to the FTC to see if they broke any federal laws.

If you haven't already, please file a complaint with the better business bureau and file a dispute with your bank to get your money back.

Let's keep at it until these scammers fold up and no longer do any stealing ever again!

I just now attempted to resolve this over the phone. Their web site says we can ONLY cancel over the phone (thereby no record of cancellation) :"Our policy requires that you call and verbally cancel your accountThis is simply a security measure to verify you are actually the account holderPlease make sure to cancel your account prior to your billing date to avoid further chargesCall (619) and our representatives will be happy to assist youOr use Contact Us section and send us email, the account will be cancelled till we confirm you by sending you email." I also confronted them with their claim to have sent an activation email to me. They sent one then, but there was NOT a date that it was sent "last month" as claimed - so they never had sent it at all.They also claimed that I used the service which NEVER happened.I called and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was pit on hold for OVER an HOUR and no one ever answered even though I could hear people moving around in the background. They claim that the sent an activation email which the did not do until just now. I asked them to sen a copy because I never received it.They also say that you must cancel only by phone - so there would be no record of the cancellation request. Worst customer service ever. They robbed me for $34.98. A sales rep convinced me to get the service. Come to find out I couldn't use the service for local jail calls. They won't issue me a refund and they closed my account. If you weren't going to give me a refund I could of use the account for another family member who is locked up long distance..

Just try to get a refund - it won't happen. This company has taken two withdrawls from my Bank Account (so far) AFTER I had cancelled the so-called "service". This is a deceptive web site which claims "Unlimited minutes just $29.99 USD per month." This is a trick! You would end up paying that $29.99 ON TOP of the inmate's calling account you have already set up. I do not understand how Calling Today continues to operate this deceptive web site? They just now changed their phone number: Customer Service: (619) 331 0018.

This business is a total scam. They only respond by email, no one answers the customer service phone number and their product is fraudulent. They sell local numbers that they prepurchase to give to people who have incarcerated family members and friends and they lead you to believe it will save you money and that they are connected with Paytel and they are not. You have to really read the fine print to understand that they are essentially helping you break the law. They also will not refund your money under any circumstance, even if the account is not used. I am on Social Security retirement and watch my money carefully. I cancelled this "Service" last month the same day I started it and never used it after I discovered that they misrepresent what they are offering. They claim "unlimited minutes" for $29.99 a month to talk to my son who is locked up instead they charge that ON TOP of whatever the jail charges (something like $15 for 3 minutes). Instead of refunding my money they CHARGED my bank account AGAIN an additional $14.99 this month. This caused an overdraft fee of $34.
