I am rejecting this response because:I did have front end damage to the vehicle upon arrival to the shop. But it was only to the bumper cover and the driver's side head light. My grill was not broke. I have pictures to show that the damage to my bumper and headlight are not consistent with the damage to my grill. I went to them and asked for a diagnostic on the truck. Usually, when you get a diagnostic they have a list of things that need repair and ask me what I want them to do. I previously had a diagnostic done at another Calvert's location and they told me that I needed a windshield wiper motor. I could not afford the work at that time. I have paperwork stating this. At the Jennings location they gave me no paperwork stating what I needed done after their diagnostic check. Nor did they mention a radiator hose leak and this is the first time I've heard this myself. Now my truck is running hot within 10 min of driving and it was not doing that before. I am not doing this to try to get over on these people I just want what was messed up fixed.

Dear Revdex.com,  I am sorry
this customer still feels she is entitled to a refund, but that is just not the
case. Again, we let her supply the struts to save her money, and the sway bar
issue is nothing that we could have foreseen. These sway bar links need to be
removed in order to replace the struts. The sway bar links on her vehicle were
seized and could not be saved. We had to cut them off with a torch. Our Manager
called Ms. [redacted] prior to cutting them off and explained the situation. Ms.
[redacted] authorized the sway bar links and we proceeded with the repair. Ms.
[redacted] received a very competitive price for this repair from us and we look
forward to continuing to give our customers such as Ms. [redacted] the very best
in price and service at this location.

I am rejecting this response because:That is not true. When they quoted me the price I had told them quick struts is what I needed.. that includes the spring cause I knew it was broken from a recent inspection so that not true. The price quoted was 200.00 cheaper than once I got there. Then all sudden my sway bar links broke.. no I feel they took total advantage of me and should refund some my money.

I am rejecting this response because:Someone other have worked  on my brakes many times. I have a 2008 Dodge Caravan not the first time my brakes needed to be repaired. what sense do this make  repair  done prior to their inspection of my brakes. The only issue is their  brakes inspection and unsatisfactory work disabling my car, would not put my car back as it was when I drove it into them, if their were a problem they should should have inform me of the possible of it breaking not brake it then tell me I can not moved my car unless I get it fix . Monies was paid to that company to repair my brake which they said would fixed the problem, still exist my brakes has not been repaired by them go to another Calvert's company is not a solution my money was paid to that company at that location for brake repair not done brakes issues same as they were when I drove my car in for inspection and repair. This is not a solution to go another Calvert's company. I paid for my brakes to be repaired they were not repaired plain and simple.

I have spoken to the district manager responsible for the location Ms. [redacted] visited.  He has spoken with the shop manager and the technician who completed the repairs on her vehicle.  I can assure you that the work was performed on her vehicle for which she was invoiced.  I do...

apologize that Ms. [redacted] felt our staff spoke to her in a rude manner.  In order for a technician to determine the cause of a noise, he has to hear it.   When she brought her vehicle back to us, the technician did not observe anything wrong with her brake pads or rotors.We would be more than happy to warranty all of the parts that we replaced to satisfy Ms. [redacted] if she would be satisfied with that. Ms. [redacted] has a lifetime warranty on her brake pads and a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty on her brake rotors.

I am rejecting this response because:Mr. [redacted] ,  My wife  and I both asked for the Monroematic Strutts
on the car. My conversation was with the receptionist the day before
the install. She indicated no problem, we can install them on Saturday.
She also quoted us the price of 89.99Per strut  plus installation. WHEN MY WIFE DROPPED OFF THE CARE SHE ASKED FOR THE MONROEMATIC STRUTTS THAT ARE ADVERTISED IN  YOUR ADD.Secondly why after we both asked for the Monroematics did your company install the Sensa-Tracs. Nobody authorized this.Thirdly
why wasn't my car realigned after the defective Strutt was replaced. Was
I suppose to TELL  your mechanics and your Shop manager HOW  to do this work.
I thought they were professionals.  I paid for an alignment when the
Struts were installed. I was told that it had to be done.WHY WASN'T THE CAR REALLIGNED??? Also why did Calverts try to sell me Rotors at 79.99 a peice. They did not need to be replaced.WHY DID IT TAKE FOUR TIMES IN CALVERTS TO GET THE JOB DONE CORRECTLY??Mr [redacted] It is these questions you keep avoiding.Mr.
[redacted] based on your offers to repair my car and based on the list of
complaints I have read, I would be a fool to allow any Calverts to work
on my car. It would end up costing me money, time and aggravation. If
you want to make your customers happy try this. Try delivering what
they ask for. In this case My wife and I both asked for Monroematic
Strutts.  THIS IS WHAT WE WANTED INSTALLED ON THE CAR. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BRING IT BACK FOR THE 5TH TIME TO GET MONROEMATICS INSTALLED. CALVERTS YOU SHOULD HAVE INSTALLED WHAT WE ASKED FOR CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. I  learned my lesson, go to the Revdex.com first. Mr. [redacted] maybe you should read the Revdex.com about Calverts it is quite interesting.Mr. [redacted] You indicated in your last response "We have offered Mr. [redacted] a number of additional options to try to satisfy him, including refunding the difference between the Sensatracs and the MonroeMatics"  GREAT, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED FOR FROM THE BEGINNING.   CREDIT MY CREDIT CARD:  BUT I AM NOT ALLOWING CALVERTS TO WORK ON MY CAR.

On 04/21/16, Mr. [redacted] signed a confidential release and settlement agreement.  As per that agreement, $101.95 was refunded to his credit card and he released the company from all future claims.

upset with our shop and I assure you we do care about her issues.  I happened to be at this shop when the
customer returned.  I listened to her
issues and then asked if I could have some time to research and investigate
this issue.  She...

agreed to this and left.
 I researched the options that were
available as front brakes on her 2011 Ford Escape.  I found that there was only one option for
front brakes on her vehicle and that was the brake pad that we had previously
installed at our facility.  This was
verified by Ford.  I called Ms. [redacted]
the next day and explained this issue.  I
also informed her that the brake part number the other shop had installed on
her Escape was designed for a 2005 Dodge Caravan.  I offered to recheck her vehicle and see if
our pads were indeed not correct but she declined my offer.  Ms. [redacted] was only interested in getting
money back from us.  I reached out to the
owner of the company to see what we could offer Ms. [redacted] to placate her and
he authorized a refund of $79.99 as a customer satisfaction issue. This offer still stands
for Ms. [redacted].

I am rejecting this response because: The General Manager Lied...I have yet to receive my key lock from my car. I have called again this Pass Monday 11/13/2017 and still haven't hear anything yet. I am not happy with the run around I am getting. I call the Location on Wornal and take to Manager Jason B[redacted] and he acted as if he was clueless about my key lock so I proceeded to contact corporate office. I want my key lock for my car I told them I need to get tires put on my car and cannot without this key lock they lost. I also contacted the infinity and Nissan dealership in Missouri and Kansas and I was told if a key lock was ordered it would take no longer than a week to get it. Its been almost a month. I just want my car key lock from this company and I will never return to them ever again.

another store, she refused.  Her vehicle
was disabled and the shop manager did everything he could to help her out.  She was charged for the parts with no
labor.  My offer still...

stands with taking it to another of our 12
St. Louis area shops so that we may check it out check it out and see what it

Since then I received a $15 coupon from Calverts auto express which I refuse to accept because I don't ever want to do business with them again. Also since then I have had my vehicle serviced and checked for leaks & none were present.

I am rejecting this response because:Mr. [redacted] your Office Manager [redacted] has a vivid imagination or  you are just covering yourselfI worked that day, ( started work at 7:00 a.m. )  I did not drop the car off. We did not agree to The higher price struts. It is quite apparent you will say  and do anything, except admit the truth.We asked for Monroe-matic strutts . [redacted] quoted these over the phone.I had multiple conversations with her. She was completely aware of what we wanted.  Some how that fact was not brought to light. Your company decided to install Sensatrac stutts without informing us.We  found out that sensa-trac struts were installed after the fact. This is not what we asked for.I realize that I made a huge mistake allowing Calverts to work on my car.
Now everyday that this is not resolved more and more people will also know.The Missouri Attorney General ????Congratulations, you RIPPED ME OFF  for $176 dollars plus the cost of the alignment. LESSON LEARNEDWHAT A MISTAKE IT WAS TO DO BUSINESS WITH CALVERTS.

We did a
tune up and a wiper motor at the customer’s request.  The lower radiator hose was leaking as well and
we repaired that at no charge.
The wiper
motor was not diagnosed by us, the customer had requested it.  When she brought the car back we...

diagnosed
the switch at no charge to her when it is usually a $39.99 diagnostic fee. 
As far as
the damage to her vehicle, we documented on our paperwork that she had front end
damage prior to service.  If she would
like to buy a grill we will install it for her but we are not responsible for doing
the damage.

I talked to Mr [redacted] on January 31.  he explained that
when he brought his car in the window was not working properly and he wanted us
to confirm that it needed to be replaced. 
He also admitted that he had know intention of having us repair his car
only wanted us to confirm what he...

thought was a bad motor and regulator.  Additionally, he said he wasn't looking for anything in return
just upset that know one returned his call on the initial complaint.  Mr. [redacted] felt that we should have
known it wasn't going to last and should have told him when it would stop
working.
I apologized to Mr. [redacted] about the lack of response
from our Company and apologized that he had to return to have the door panel
reinstalled.  I explained that there was absolutely know way we could tell him how long his
window was going to work continue to work.  I followed up
with the Shop Manager and the technician that worked on his vehicle and they both said the window was not working at
all when Mr. [redacted] brought he vehicle to the shop.  He brought a vehicle in that had a
part that was not working or working poorly and we confirmed that and based on
that I feel the $33.00 charge.  Mr. [redacted] is not due a refund.

I am rejecting this response because:The car was pulling to the right all of the time not just while braking. It didn't need brake calipers and a hose because it continued to pull after new brake parts were put on. I paid for unnecessary work.I request an arbitration.

I did a
follow-up at the store, to make sure I had my information right.  During that conversation with the employees at the location
Mr. [redacted] visited, [redacted] the Office Manager told me that both Mr. and Mrs.
[redacted] had been to the store to bring the vehicle by.  She then suggested to both that they wait
until we checked the car out to confirm that the Monroe Matic Struts were available.  They agreed to wait,.  After inspecting the
vehicle, [redacted] the Manager brought both Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] out to show them
the car, and confirmed the price and type of repairs we would be performing.  So we did make them aware of the repair and the
price before they left the shop.  Somehow
that fact was not brought to light previously by the consumer.
