I am rejecting this response because: the response  is incorrect. when I called to get a quote for a converter it was before my car started making noise. When I brought my car to you I informed you on what my car was doing which was shaking and acting as though it was going to stop. What I said was " The last time I checked the light it said the converter but I wasn't sure", the guy who I spoke with said " It like your car is choking and that it sounded like an converter and said her was going to find out" . However they did not try to fix the problem of the shaking they just assumed it was the converter. I called the same day when I made it home because my car was doing the same thing, the guy said bring it back they was going to check it out. I brought it back, the next day they claimed it was misfires. My question was why wasn't it told to me that two codes popped, why wasn't I the one making the decision on rather or not to fix the converter over the misfires. What I was confused the most about was if you are a shop who fix auto repair, and you knew misfires and the converter popped, They should have known that fixing the converter first didn't make any since because the misfires would just ruin the converter and I would have never agreed to doing the converter over the misfires but I was not told about  the misfires until after I brought my car back. Than after taking to the district manager ( He was just as rude as his workers, and automatically  assume what his workers said was correct before even listening to me) but agreed to only fixing the two of the spark which they assumed was causing the problem. The next day the guy called and said it was the engine. I had my car towed to another auto repair shop who did a full diagnostic on  my car and find out that nothing they said was wrong with my car was true, there was nothing wrong with my engine. They didn't know what was wrong with my car when I dropped, and should have said that instead of taking my money and finding every excuse not to give me money back. Again "I DO NOT" recommend this place to no one. The reviews are horrible( which I would have read the before dropping my car off)  the have a C and not even accredited through the Revdex.com which that don't surprise me at all.

I am rejecting this response because: I took my car to another dealership when my power steering belt broke, and there response was everything in this car is loose and not tight. " Have you had this car worked on recently?" Yes, they didn't do any work on my power steering but they had to bypass that area to get to the leak. The customer service was rude, the wait was forever, and the product not received are all reasons why I am not accepting this response.

Dear Revdex.com,
Ms [redacted]
brought her vehicle in complaining of a running issue.  The diagnostic determined that the vehicle
needed a tune up.  Nothing was ever said
about it running hot or a problem with the wipers. It wasn't until she
authorized the tune up that she asked about us installing the wiper motor.  At no time did she tell us who diagnosed the
bad wiper motor and when we pulled it apart it appeared that someone had
started to replace it but stopped.  As
far as the vehicle running hot, if she would like to drop the vehicle off I
would be more than happy to try and determine what the problem is and give her
price on repairing it.
We diagnosed
what she requested, a problem with the running of the vehicle.  At no time did we see an antifreeze
leak.  We also had the vehicle running
before and after the tune up and test drove the vehicle before and after the
repairs without any overheating problem.
Once again
if she will drop the vehicle off, we will try and diagnose the overheating
problem for her.

To clarify, it is my daughter who has been scammed by Calvert's Auto.  She is a minor, 17 years of age, still living at home. She has been sadly taken advantage of by this sloppy "fix" job that Calvert's did, which cost her $1,200.00 +  just to put glue to seal the transmission and oil...

leaks 3 different times.  Like I mentioned in the original complaint that I sent out for my daughter, this only made the problem worse and did not fix the initial problem.

I am rejecting this response because:  I have the oil plug that was overtightended and it has the aluminum treads that they stripped still on it.  The 20% discount is not satisfactory.  They messed my car up once, therefore they will not work on it again.

I am rejecting this response because:MR. [redacted], with all do respect , this was not a case of misunderstanding. Calverts was informed and knew that we wanted Monroe-matic struts installed.  This was clearly communicated when the vehicle was dropped off.And also the day before when we spoke to [redacted].Nobody advised us that Sensa-trac struts were being installed until after the fact.It seems that Calverts Story changes with every response through the Revdex.com.I will not allow  Calverts to perform any more work on my car.I wouldn't let you guys Flush My ToiletMr [redacted] why was I told my rotors needed to be replaced on my rear brakes??? Your competitor who perform the brake repair did not try to sell us new rotors at $75.00  a peice.They turned the Rotors.  (turning the rotors is not a new concept We did not ask Calverts to look at the brakes.Why did it take 4 times to get the Strut  job done correctly. ( well partially correct you guys did not realign the car after the strut failed ,and  wrong Struts installed on car)Why did your Revdex.com rating change from a " C"  to "No Rating" Why would I want to take the my car back for the 5th time???  Are you KIDDING ME.Your proposed settlement is a JOKE.If you want to make me happy refund my money.   If not fine.I WILL CONTINUE TO ADVISE FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS & the MISSOURI ATTORNEY GENERAL ,  WHAT CALVERTS IS ALL ABOUTGOOD LUCK, WITH THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS MODEL.

Ms. [redacted] has spoken with Mr. [redacted].  She was sent a Release and Settlement Agreement to sign regarding refunding $80.00.  We have received her signed copy and a refund to her Visa card will be processed within 24 hours.
