travel nurse
I think it's absolutely absurd as a travel nurse I can only park in one garage, and am charged way more then employees. I'm there to care for patients and all you see is "travel nurse" and smell money.

The permit holder was parked in an area of the parking lot that required a "B" permit Customer had a "C" permit, which cannot be used to park in the area until after 4:00pm The citation was issued at 3:04pm There is a sign at the end cap stating the requirement of a "B" permit CampusParc does not oversell the "C" permit There are always available spaces to park on campus, however, those spaces may not be in the most desired area in which the customer would like to park

[redacted] , Your citation is currently under appeal and awaiting review While a citation is under appeal, you can purchase your permit so you can continue to park on campus We encourage you to do this immediately before the appeal is reviewed If you get your permit ordered prior to the appeal being finalized, the citation will be reduced to a Failure to Register violation, which carries a fine of only $7.50.Sincerely, CampusParc Customer Service Center

The customer submitted photographic evidence of an alleged CampusParc employee sleeping in a vehicle While this could not be substantiated by CampusParc, we did address the issue with the enforcement officer working during that time This matter has been handled internally with the employee

The meter monitors for campus parc wait near soon-to-expire meters and pre-emptively write parking citations My meter expired at 8:21pm and the ticket time was 8:21pmavoid parking on campus if at all possibleWalk and save yourself the $parking ticket they will most likely give you

I have been an employee of The Ohio State University for over a year and have had the same personalized plates for several yearsOn 12/8/I was issued a $citation for an unregistered vehicleWhen I brought it to the attention of their office staff within Bevis Hall on campus, they said that it was a mistakeThen they had the nerve to say that they will downgrade the citation to $I then questioned why I have to pay any fee as it was their mistake, and they replied with rambled comments of maybe I registered it wrong, etcKnowing that I've had the plates registered since being employed, I became more upset and paid the $and left the officeAfterwards I learned that because I have already paid the fee, I am unable to submit an appealI am finding that my permit information has been edited as I logged in for the citation info todaySuch practices contradicts their Values and Mission statement on their websiteSomehow they continue to conduct business in this manner without consequences and is not acceptableSince the end fees are significantly lower than initial citations, it would most likely require a Class Action Lawsuit to correct such poor business practices

When managing the vehicles linked to a permit using our online portal, there are instructions on the landing pages informing customer s on the proper procedure to link a vehicle to a permit Additionally, when linking a vehicle to a permit, the permit details are displayed, which include the effective dates of the permit that is being managed (Please see attached document for examples) When you were adding the vehicle to your permit, you were linking it to the 2016-permit, which does not become active until 8/1/ Again, the effective dates of the permit are displayed on the screen so customers are fully aware We have an appeals process for circumstances when customers make a mistake, in which the citation is reduced to a Failure To Register violation that carries a much reduced fine A review of your citation shows that you did appeal it and it was reduced to $ If you are ever unsure about any of your permit details, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Center at ###-###-#### or [redacted] Sincerely, CampusParc Customer Support

This company has greatly misplaced its priorities and doesn't care at all for the employees and students that pay them for their "services"When an essential hospital employee, required to take care of dying patients is forced to park miles away and then not even have the courtesy of a shuttle after his or her shift ends late into the night, there is something seriously wrong wtih that organizationA nurse, who works in the new James emergency department taking care of people with cancer, can't find a parking spot within a mile walking distance to the hospital because of the restrictions placed on employee parkingOh, and if you have to work on a day there's an event or football game, those same life-saving employees will be turned away from the very parking garages or lots for which they pay their fees to park and have to park even farther away than they already normally have to because the company wants to make more money on selling those spots to the game/event goersThese are sick practices for a company that only seems to care about making more money as is clearly shown by their mission statement: "To provide safe, efficient (haha) campus parking and good stewardship (haha) of the parking system assets and to ACHEIVE THE INVESTMENT EXPECTATIONS OF OUR INVESTORS"

I am filling a complaint against Campus parc. Campus parc charges a premium price for people who are devoted to caring for others and their wellbeing. Campus parc does not embody any of these virtues and always tries to make as much money as possible for offering very little in terms of customer care or service. I'm sure they can get away with all of these things because campus parc essentially functions as a monopoly near the [redacted] for parking. I recently forgot my pass and pulled a ticket to get in to a garage. My wife dropped off my pass during the day. I was not allowed to use my pass to leave. I called Campus par customer service line and the answer I received was "You pulled the ticket, you pay for it". I pay close to a thousand dollars to park near the medical center. That's a premium price for little in the way of any fair customer service. How is this a fair or allowable practice? It would not exist anywhere else, any other place in America I would get my money back and receive an apology for my inconvenience. Here though, the customer is treated poorly and summarily dismissed. On multiple other occasions, I have been charged for not displaying my pass in my car properly when I already pay close to a thousand dollars a year. Calling and disputing the charge/ticket for the "violation" still only reduces the price. They won't waive it, ever.

[redacted] , What you are describing sounds like the transaction summary page, which is the page you see prior to the confirmati*on page on the transaction summary page you need to click the Submit button one more time to finalize the order Again, we do apologize for the issues you had in completing your permit order online If you need assistance with this process in the future, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service center at ###-###-#### or [redacted] Sincerely, CampusParc Customer Service Team

The South Cannon garage was restricted to patient and visitor parking until 4:00pm on weekdays If a permit holders pulls an entry ticket to gain access to the garage when their permit is not valid, they are responsible for the hourly parking fees incurred The customer attempted to gain entry to the garage at 3:58pm, after the gate would not raise, she pulled an entry ticket and proceeded to park The customer could have parked in the surface lot across the street from the garage or in the 9th Ave West garage

Recently had an in-patient stay with my wife. When we were discharged there was no one available to validate the parking (It was a Sunday morning). I walked to two different information desks at two different hospitals, none were staffed. Paid nearly $30 to leave with my wife. Called CampusParc to ask for a refund and was given the runaround and told refunds are not issued. This is a disgrace and is unacceptable. I am able to show them that we were in-patient but they do not want to hear any of that. What a terrible treatment of people. They should be ashamed! I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was told there was no one higher. Absolutely ridiculous.

Mr***,
That is correct. To park in the StJohn lot on football home games, the vehicle must possess either an ADA placard or license plateSincerely,

Beware of the ticket czar in the parking garage! I parked in a CampusParc facility to attend an event at *** for two hours It was late on a weekday and most of the hundreds of parking spaces in the garage were empty Despite the emptiness of the garage, I received a ticket for parking in two parking spaces; apparently, I had crossed over the line into the adjoining space by a few inches when I parked, of which I was not awareThe fine was $ Given that there were only a handful of cars in the whole garage and no loss at all to Campus Parc by my mistake, I am so frustrated and disappointed that they found it necessary to fine me $45, and that they had a ticket czar strolling the garage at pm at night, looking for reasons to give tickets to the few cars parked there I was also disturbed that the ticket said "photo taken," as if to warn me that they were prepared to prove my mistake I willingly admit that I did not park well, but there was no harm at all to them by this mistake, and even if I had taken up a space that someone would have used, a $fine for two hours is outrageous--more than they would have made if someone had parked in the space! A warning would have been an appropriate measure, or a small fine It appears that they are using whatever means they can to make more money Many people worried that selling off our parking at *** was a mistake, which now appears to be a very legitimate concern It has left a very bad taste in my mouth for CampusParc and I will do whatever I can to avoid supporting this business in the future

CampusParc has many errors in their high-tech parking monitoring system that they refuse to acknowledgeFor example, if two siblings both studying at Ohio State each buy a parking permit and list each other's vehicles as a vehicle they may drive to campus, they may receive a citation for both being parked in the same area at the same time EVEN THOUGH EACH BOUGHT A VALID PARKING PERMIT AND WAS LEGALLY PARKEDSince Ohio State sold parking to this private business, prices have steadily increased each year, throwing OSU students into even worse debt leaving college

Terrible company and terrible customer serviceI received an exit violation for a car that wasn't even on campus, let alone the parking garage

***
When the citation was issued to the vehicle illegally parked on campus on 5/18/2016, the enforcement officer failed to enter the plate correctly, thus the citation notices were sent to you in error. The citation has been updated and reassigned to the appropriate
party. There is nothing further need to be done on your part. We sincerely apologize for this error, and we do not show any previous email correspondence from you regarding this citation. If you did send an email previously, it may have been filtered out of our system as SPAM. We can assure you that if we did in fact receive prior notification of this issue, it would have been dealt with promptly. Please let us know if there is anything else that needs to be done.Sincerely,
CampusParc Customer Service

***,
After the Keycard Status Report was filled out for you in the North Cannon Garage on 6/23/2016, we conducted an investigation into your keycard usage. The information we found in reviewing your keycard activity, showed there was no entry scan into the garage on
6/23/2016. This indicates that some other means was used to enter the garage, like pulling a transient ticket at Visitor entrance. if a ticket is pulled to enter the garage, then it must be paid upon exit. The garage only allows permit holders in at a time, and often times permit holders will use the alternate entrance when we have reached the permit cap. These measures are in place to ensure the Medical Center has adequate parking for Patients and Visitors, and to prevent individuals from attempting to bypass this rule Upon further review of your account and keycard usage, we have reduced the citation to the max daily rate for transient parking in the garage. The citation balance is now $and may be paid online at osu.campusparc.comSincerely,

We are sorry to hear of your troubles parking on campus recently. November 5, was a home football game at OSU. During home football games, it is referred to as a "Global Event" and the parking system is handed back over to the University. During these large events, the
rules for parking are not applicable. Certain parking ares may be restricted to Accessible parking customers only, or event specific permit holders. CampusParc does not make these policies and is bound to follow university direction in how the parking system is managed. It appears that you may not have presented the most recent event hangtag when you attempted to park in the garage. The new event hangtags are bluish in color and have a number starting with "17EH" printed near the bar code. Had this been presented at the time you were attempting to park, no payment would have been required. As the revenue generated for football parking does not belong to CampusParc, it is not ours to return to you. However, we have submitted a request to the Department of Athletics, to see if they are willing to refund your money. Our maintenance department has been alerted to the surface lot you mentioned, and will make any repairs within their abilities. This area is slated for more extensive repair work next Summer.
We have a procedure in place to process claims of vehicle damage. If you would like, we can have one of our personnel reach out to you and schedule a time to meet and fill out the claims packet. At which point it will be submitted to our claims department to handleIf the Department of Athletics agrees to the refund, a check will be mailed out to the address we have on file, in the amount of $Sincerely,
CampusParc Customer Service

I am rejecting this response because:
Sounds goodThank you for putting this on the recordAs stated before, I cannot accept the response of Campus park until they make good on thier promisesIf that means the complaint needs to be close, and potentiall re-opened in the future, that is what will have to be doneBut I do not accept the response.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Regards,
