[redacted] first contacted Canary in October with issues regarding the geofencing feature of his device. He spoke with several customer support agents to address his problem, but has continued to have issues. [redacted] requested a refund from us, but we informed him we are unable to refund him...

for this purchase as his Canary devices were not purchased directly from us, but from one of Canary’s retail partners.   On December [redacted] asked that instead of a refund we continue to work towards resolving his geofencing issues, and he is currently working with one of our senior customer support agents to help him resolve his issue.     -Canary

After reviewing the complaint and reading the support ticket history, it was determined that the best course of action would be to replace the device in question as it was not functioning properly. A replacement was sent out 2 weeks ago and we are continuing contact with the customer to make sure...

all issues are resolved.

I informed the customer that because the devices were purchased from a third party retailer, that they fell outside our return and refund policy which is only for devices purchased directly through our web store. However, I also informed the customer that some of the issues she is experiencing are...

not normal and that I would be happy to replace her devices under our warranty. We are working together to make sure these issues do not persist.
