Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by Capital Collection Service in reference to complaint ID ***However I want it to be a matter of record that Capital Collections refused to accept the Registered Letter which I had sent on November 6th, arriving at their office on November 8th; I have receipts to prove when it was mailed. I also wish it to be known that the Registered Letter was only picked up (or signed for after subsequent delivery attempts) AFTER I refused their responses and had to further contact the Revdex.com of New JerseyI am only accepting this response because Capital Collections has cashed my check and in this, and only in this, will I trust that they will stop all further contact with me and, therefore, the resolution is satisfactory to me
I will not hesitate to reopen this matter if needs dictate because I simple will not be bullied, harassed, and lied to by anyone let alone a business who claim that they "adhere" to the Fair Debt Collection Act

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
When aggressively attempting to collect a debt from an individual and the original "creditor" states that no account ever existed for said debt, the least that can be done is to send documentation of closure to accused "debtor." This is lazy businessWithout proper documentation there is very little recourse should there be an issueSubmitting the removal online does not show proper steps were taken to resolve this matter as the legal system requires documentation as evidence to support assertionsWithout such it is no more factual than any other statement

I am rejecting this response because Mr. [redacted]' behavior was intimidating and extremely unsettling. There should be no reason for a collection company to access medical records with contain extremely private information. The company had no data on the bill the were collecting. As a collection agency they should be able to provide information concerning the bill immediately and have no need to access personal medical information.  They should also have a clear understanding of the bill and give accurate information, instead of making random guesses that do not add up. I am truly concerned about their professionalism and validity of information provided, especially due to the aggressive nature in which Mr. [redacted] repeatedly requested access to my personal medical information. I am also concerned about the safety of my personal medical information due again to the aggressive manner in which Mr. [redacted] tried to access the information.

Review: Capital Collection Service has failed to send me itemized/detailed statements in the mail which they deny, contacted me from an 'Unknown Number', they threatened and harrassed me over the phone, two different representatives hung up on me after I repeatedly asked for an address to mail the payment to (which they would not provide), while a third representative threatened to have me arrested for harrasment on the grounds that I had called their business three times in a row! I called the company TWICE after they initally called me and the only reason I kept calling back was because the other two representatives yelled, threatened and then hung up on me. I told her that I HAD to keep calling back because I don't have their mailing address nor the balance due on the debt. After the last representative agreed that if I pay $170.00 that the account would be settled, she refused to send details of the agreed debt settlement in the mail citing that Capital Collection Services "don't do that" and that once my check clears that that will be my "proof" that Capital has acceppted my settlement payment.Desired Settlement: I want the Revdex.com to be aware that Capital Collection Services is in direct Violation of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Title VIII Sec. 806, 807, and 809. I also want Capital Collection Services to be aware of that fat as well. The fact that three employees used agreesive, abusive behaviour suggests that this behaviour is the norm and that this culture of harrasment is seen as perfectly acceptable by those in charge at Capital Collection Services.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: First of all, I have sent my payment of $170.00 via registered mail of Thursday, November 6th. But to date, Capital Collections has not signed for letter, thus closing my account. Secondly, the statement that Capital Collections has made in their statement are only partially true. Their statement "In regarding attempts to call to the office and being hung up on, Capital Collection Service notes indicate that the consumer ended the call after using profanity with the agent. There are no records showing repeated attempts to call back on the account from the consumer" is only partially true. The LAST agent I 'spoke' with is the female agent I referred to in my complaint. She was belligerent, threatened to have me charged with harassment for calling Capital Collections three times and repeatedly dodged the question of what address could I use to send my payment. Once she finally gave me the address of Capital Collections I left off an expletive and then hung up on her. However, the simple fact that this female agent KNEW that my phone number/account had been accessed TWICE PRIOR to her taking my call proves that Capital Collections is trying to hide the fact that they called me from an unknown number, harassed me AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME! This is what prompted me to CALL BACK, where I was again threatened and hung up on without getting the address. Forcing me to call a SECOND time making this the THIRD time my account/phone number was accessed by an agent at the company. In all seriousness what would it behoove me to call these people at 9:15 am as I was on my way out the door to vote? Just to curse them out? To argue about an address I didn't have? If I had a phone number to reach Capital Collections then I also would have had an address. However, I received no correspondence from them, and the only way I knew that that the Unknown number on my caller ID was Capital Collections was because of the first agent who called me at 9:15 am. Regards,

Review: I received a call from Capital Collection Services on July 1-2nd. I called back after work and spoke with a representative who informed me of a collection account that was sold to them from [redacted]. I informed the representative that I had paid off said collection account. The representative informed me that I needed to provide their company with a paid in full letter to resolve the matter. I spoke with a representative at [redacted] and was informed that a representative would be contacting Capital Collection Services to inform them of the paid in full status. I made a follow up call this afternoon for the status of the paid in full letter being received and was treated not only with complete disrespect but also was informed that information regarding the collection account was given out to a third party representative without my knowledge or approval.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a paid in full letter from Capital Collection Services regarding the account. I am not in possession of such and feel that I have not been provided the adequate type of service to assist them in completing their collection. This account will harm my personal credit score and as they have been contacted by the previously mentioned company, they should make arrangements to close out their files and mail me a paid in full letter.

Business

Response:

Capital Collection Service is a 3rd party collection agency contracted by [redacted]. for the collection of purchased debt.

there has been an ongoing issue with unauthorized parties contacting consumers as a owner or 3rd party on the behalf of the owner.

We will mark the account as paid prior in our system and cease all activity.

We will not be able to issue a paid in full letter as we did not receive or process any payments on the referenced claim.

Review: Capital Collection is listed on my credit reports as a collection agency assigned by US Bank to collect. However, they are attempting to collect on an account they do not own. I was informed by a different collection agency that they own this debt and are attempting to collect on behalf of US Bank.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that Capital Collection either remove this tradeline from my credit reports or validate that they currently own this debt by providing me with documentation they received from US Bank verifying that this debt is mine as well as the full account number, date of first delinquency and balance owed.

Business

Response:
