I am rejecting this response because:It was never disclosed to us that the deposit would be held for any reasonWe had spoken to the property in question in an attempt to address the debt I question previously but were told since it was sent to multiple collections agencies and the management company that owned the property when we rented that apartment were no longer involved with that property that the debt was no longer owed to them and no longer we there concern Since the debt was not owed to the property, the apartment, and was sold to another agency, it was no longer classified as being a debt to an apartment complex/management company so it was not includedEven so we attempted to contact them again to make payment arrangements but were told it had to be paid in full before we would be accepted by *** *** so we decided to no longer pursue the matter. We are also currently disputing the debt owed, as mentioned previously, and had already had it removed from my wife's credit report since it was no longer valid as wellWhen offered this information, they denied the fact and continued to ignore it.

In Reference to Complaint ID#*** *** ***- Villages at Paso Real Attached you will find the closing move out statement on *** ***-unit #***; His day notice was turned in on 1/6/to be moving out 2/28/15, Though his expiration and notice was for the end of February
apartment keys were turned in Tuesday March 3rd, therefore $of rent proration was charged. The allocation of water billing is always in arrears so final water billings from 11/24/thru 3/3/were also charged The final notice to move out did not have a forwarding address, statement was then mailed to the apartment that he had moved out of which should have been forwarded with address change done at Post Office. I called *** *** on several occasions to go over move out statement but I could only leave messages. We finally spoke April 21st, I attempted to read the final close out statement which shows he in fact owes the property $40.46, he disagreed and disconnected the conversation. Since then I have not heard from him *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:The information regarding the refusal to return our deposit was not given to us until after our application was submitted. Furthermore we were told on two separate instances that our deposit was being returned and to await its delivery. After waiting both the first 30 days we were originally ordered to as well as the additional two weeks after, we were then told in person that we would not be receiving our deosit back. While the original person did specify that normally deposits are not refunded, again without any specific information about why, she proceeded to inform me that it will take 30 days for the refund to be processed and delivered. The second person we spoke with 14 days later then informed us that it might take an additional two weeks and we should check the mailbox of our previous apartments as well. Counting the fact we were not informed about the refusal to return our deposit, that is three separate occasion of falsification. I will continue to pursue this matter but after this incident and the rude treatment by the people on site, I will not ever attempt to continue with my application at any of the locations management by this company.

I called back after 15 days she said I would take 3 to 4 weeks.  I call back after 4 weeks she said check was mailed out on the 28 of june. We are now July  8 and I still have not received it.  How long do I have to wait.

The rents at Braesview will vary based on several different factors, as we use a program that determines the rents for us. explained to her that when she filled out the application and the qualifications that if they owed any money and were not upfront with that that all monies were non-refundable.Based on information provided the applicant did owe money to another apartment community and this was not on their original application, so deposit was forfeited.

[redacted]We do understand your concern with not having your $350 deposit returned.  Please find below the events that occurred causing us to not refund your deposit.  ·         On 2/23/17 you toured the community and were told prior to leasing what the qualifications were. ·         You submitted your application online, and we were notified that you had leased and proceeded with the verification of rental history and employment verification.  ·         We received your past rental history from Champions Park and it showed a balance owed by you of $3,582.57.·         We notified you that a balance was owed to Champions Park and that was not reveal to us on the application. ·         We explained to you that since this information was left off the application, it was considered falsifying the application and that no monies would be refunded. Due to the balance being left off the application we will be unable to refund any of your deposit as stated in the screening consent you signed while applying on line.  Please note should you pay the balance owed in full we will be happy to process your application again.
