To whom it may concern:
I used your company to buy my first home. Let me tell you about my experience. I started this process on March 11, 2016. My Loan Originator was [redacted] , he told us that you are approved for $189,000, go find your home and we will get this taken care of. So, we did, we found a home for $155,000. Called [redacted] and told him, he said no problems, and got things started. So, far the process was going smoothly. Well that changed very fast. [redacted] had promised that we would close this loan on April 29, 2016 with no worries. [redacted] at first was very easy to get ahold of and easy to talk to. That also changed very fast as well. [redacted] explained the process that he would always be there for me and any questions to call him. That I would also be speaking to another person he worked with the Loan Processor. Well when she, [redacted], came in to the picture thing went downhill fast.
We have had to send the same paperwork to everyone several times. The whole process was the most frustrating process I have ever dealt with. The lack of communication was terrible. The follow up with even worse, it seemed that the only time I would get any type of response back was when I sent very strong worded emails to both [redacted] and [redacted]. Every time though [redacted] was very strong that we were going to close on April 29, he always promised that. He even said he was going to his boss about [redacted] and her lack of care of getting this loan done and taken care of. So over the course of several weeks and tons and tons of emails, and lots of paper work sent numerous times the week of the closing arrives. Also having a customer service rep, [redacted], who I don't think should be doing this anymore, telling me I am lucky that we even got things going due to my credit. I know I don't have perfect credit but that is not what you tell someone.
We are still sending paper work, being asked for things we had already sent, not being kept in the loop. Having to fight to even find out anything going on with my loan, and the status. It is the morning of April 28, and we are still sending paperwork to them, because the underwriter needs it. I understand there are things you need to know but I highly doubt that they need to know where my money comes from, I also don't think that it is truly any of your business as long as I pay my bills. At 4:51pm we get cleared to close on the April 29. What don't we do is close, that is due to no fault of my own, my husbands, or my realtor, as we did our part. IT is all due to the lack of care and concern from your employees. We don't close on our new house until May 3rd because of your company.
As a first time home buyer, this was totally unprofessional on your companies' part. Your staff needs to work better with clients they have. Since close to closing I have not heard a word from [redacted] or [redacted], they need to realize without people need loans they don't have a job. I will not even refer anyone to your company and if I do hear of anyone using your company I will warn them.
Sincerely
[redacted]
Cardinal Financial worked out to be a great choice for my refinancing need for my property. I am very happy the rate, timeline, helpfulness, courtesy and knowledge of the team. I will definitely consider them for my future needs and will certainly recommend them to my friends and family.
I love the experience I had with Cardinal Financial they were great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
[redacted] and staff did an excellent job of finding, explaining and closing the loan in a timely manner. [redacted] would always call me to explain any loan docs and answer any questions. I would recommend Cardinal over any other loan company and bank.
This company has helped me a lot when it came to refinancing my home. They were swift and we were able to have it completed in about a week which is pretty fast since my last refinance took me about a month to get everything approved. Patrick was the agent who took care of everything for me. Even when complications came up, he handled them very professionally.
Great rates, good communication, and everything was taken care of in 30 days with no real problems.
I applied for a loan with Cardinal. I gave them all requested information. I was assured everything was OK. 4 days before closing, I was told there was a problem and my 30 yr conventional would be changed to an ARM at almost double the rate. I fortunately could close with cash and told them no. After closing, I was able to get a conventional loan (which is much more difficult with no seasoning). They wasted so much of my time and I regret working with Cardinal on my loan. It felt like a bait and switch. Very few people are fortunate enough to be able to close without a mortgage. Most people 4 days before closing (with your stuff packed, home sold, etc) would have to agree to the higher terms. I would encourage customers to not consider Cardinal Financial when they need a mortgage.
Cardinal Financial was easy to work with, professional, processed the loan quickly, and answered all my questions promptly.
In a nutshell, do NOT use this company to buy a home. As a first time home-buyer, I was aware that this task would be daunting, but I never thought it would be the nightmare it turned in to. First off, the loan rates and lender credits I was told I could receive were simply a fabrication, I was never to receive lender credits because they never showed on any document despite countless inquiries on my part. Next, I was dealing with 6+ people who didn't know what the other was doing, I kept getting passed [redacted] from person to person. Another extremely stressful part of this whole ordeal was the endless amount of paperwork I was required to submit, literally sending document after document after document! I would get a whole stack of information to them and then would be told everything was in, only to be told the next day I needed more! Another unacceptable occurence was that every week, I was given a new, higher amount to have for closing. The final balance was $8500, this came after being told it would only take around $6000 to close (FHA loan). What finally took the cake was when after many closing dates had been pushed back, my contract ran out with the sellers. They were very skeptical about me even being approved for a loan now that we had reached the final days of contract so Cardinal financial supposedly sent a letter of approval to the realtor in hopes the sellers wouldn't begin accepting new offers. The realtor sent me the document and the document didn't state I was approved, after I had been told several times I was AND contained information that was a month old! When I told CF I was through using them as my lender due to not being approved and the whole process taking way longer than it should have, myself and my realtor were told over the phone that no one "had time to talk to us" about it. I finally wrote a formal email and sent it to the many people who had access to my information and told them all I was done and had found another lender. MIRACULOUSLY all the "missing" documents were found and I was contacted via email the next day by phone and email that my loan was clear to close. Negative ghostrider, too little too late. After my attorneys and new lenders examined my file and everything, it was also discovered I was being charged over $3500 in hidden lending fees. Absolute garbage. So glad I didn't give them any of my money!! Had to jump through hoops in order to not lose my house.
THESE GUYS ARE EXCELLENT THEY DOUBLE AND TRIPLE CHAECK EVERYTHING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THERE SERVICES. AAAAA+
Very impressed with Sebonic Financial. Great rate and service. Love the ease of online documents. Communication was great throughout and I always got a prompt response. Loan was closed in one month. Will definitely work with them again in the future.
Great customer service. My loan officer, [redacted] was always available and very helpful. We got our loan quickly and when any issue came up she handled it professionally and courteously.
I worked with [redacted] and he was fantastic! I loved that he got back to me so quickly with questions, even late at night! I recommend my Mom to him as well and she loved him too! Vey good experience with this company .
I had a great experience with Cardinal! Both my Loan Originator and my Loan Processor were very helpful during this process and always responded to me in a timely manner. They were great about following up if they needed any information from me and I was able to close right on time.
A complete pleasure to work with through the whole loan process from beginning to end. Our loan officer, [redacted] was fantastic and assisted in the whole process. He was very responsive and we wouldn't have our home without him!
Called and inquired about a refinance and the loan officer quoted me an interest rate. Then lured me into sending in an application with alot of very personal and security identity information. The proceeds to call me and tell me that the interest rate he quoted me an hour earlier is incorrect and the rate was 0.5% higher, that's a HUGE difference!!! Liars!! BEWARE, do NOT do business with this company!!!!
A very good experience doing a refi with this company.
Super easy to refinance with. All done online. Closed in three weeks from start of application.
The worst mortgage company I have ever experienced through multiple refinancing. They did not appear at the closing. Either they did not pay the tax on time, so I paid the penalty for the property tax. If I call the service department, they are saying that it is my responsibility.
Terrible service. Also, they keep changing their words.
The worst Customer service ever. If you have any loan and payment related questions, you never get the right answer. Payment system is very poor and anything goes wrong you have to call then it's like talking someone at IRS. I had talked with CSR named [redacted], she was sleeping.
