On the 23rd of December I went into the Jewel Osco located at W Madison in Oak ParkI decided to go in to order my daughter’s birthday cake for her 4th birthday party that was taking place that SundayI was told that the cake needed to be paid for in full which was totally fine with meWhile speaking to the baker, I noticed that I wasn’t shown any pictures of the cakes and she wasn’t writing anything downI asked for a book of decorated cakes and picked out a troll decorationShe still hadn’t written anything down but again told me to pay for it in full at the front and that she’ll complete writing it down “in a minute” I spelled my daughter’s name out for her and described exactly how I wanted it including showing her the picturesCake was paid for in full and I assumed everything was fine and that the cake would be ready at 10am that SundayInstead, I received a call from someone at the bakery in Jewel asking me if I still wanted the cake because the couldn’t find the rece

Why do NO Jewel oscos have salad dressing to go cups? ***, *** - they all have dressing to go cupsThis is infuriatingI tend to get a salad 1-hours before I eat them and do not want a soggy saladDo not answer with - there are dressings - those dressings are not the same, they are a different brand and don't taste the sameEvery time I go to a Jewel and ask they always say no, there are no to go cups

I have had itEach week I visit the local Jewel store in Volo, 1-times a week, and at least once if not more I'm overcharged, charged for things I didn't buy and have to return to confront themLast night I stopped for some things, purchasing Christmas cards to get the "free" holiday decorationEach of these cards were $In looking at the receipt today, I find "AM Greeting" cards, $each that I didn't buy with the same exact SKU # and have absolutely NO idea where they came fromDo the employees just randomly scan items to overcharge the unwitting customers? Last month alone, I had to return times on one trip and each weekend I have to return at least I shop there every Saturday or SundayI am starting to believe they doI can see an honest mistake but every week I'm back to confront Customer Service about something that went wrongI have been a loyal Jewel customer for 40+ years, but now I'm ready to stop shopping there I have started to take pictures of items I buy just in case I have to returnTonight I will be going back there to confront the Manager this time and get an explanation of this behaviorI am totally disgusted at this point in time

I applied for a bagger position at the Jewel on ** ** in Montgomery, IL After a VERY quick 5-minute interview, I was told I was hired by the store manager, Victor I asked Victor if he needed an answer right away and Victor said no I asked if I could call before 5pm on Friday and Victor agreed I called back on Friday afternoon as agreed and I was told that the position was filled I asked if we had an agreement about me calling on Friday and Victor said yes, but he filled the position anyhow I know this was just for a bagger position, but I feel that Victor should have lived up to his word, as I did Glad I did not start working there if this is how they treat people

I am rejecting this response because: the claim is still outstanding. I finally spoke with their Operations Manager today (4/7/2015) who will follow-up tomorrow to get us an estimate for repairs.Regards,

Carmack Moving & Storage is the best. I’ve used them several times now, for both personal and business, and wouldn’t think of calling anyone else. They are professional, on time, and on quote. You work with your Sales Rep for quoting and scheduling. On moving day, you work with your Team Lead, tell him what you want/need, you do this one time and there is no need to explain it again to anyone else. The ladies in the office are efficient and willing to assist no matter what your need. The first time I used them, I thought that I would do some of the work ahead of time, so I chose to pack in order to get a cheaper rate. However, on moving day, everything was still not packed. They came in and made very short work of what I had been spending days on. Won’t make that mistake again. I just recently saw the history of Carmack and see that they started in 1985 with just one 1972 pickup truck. This is a family owned and operated business and that kind of growth just doesn’t happen by providing anything but the best of service. I despise moving, and will always call on Carmack to make the madness bearable. I suggest that you do the same.
