CarNation AUTOBUYERS is a large organization, with substantial assets. This consumers claim that our check was "no good", is not only false, but also libelous and will likely create significant legal consequences for this consumer.  This consumers payment check was stopped. It is extremely...

rare that we have to take this action, however, when we do, it is not without a solid reason. We think long and hard before we take this action, and make every attempt to resolve any issue directly with the consumers, however in this case it was unavoidable. Prior to stopping this check we reached out to the consumer multiple times in an attempt to resolve this issue, but to no avail. Immediately upon notice of this complaint we attempted to contact this consumer via phone, email, certified mail, and still we have not received a response. We are required by law, to place a stop payment order on a check if any of the following conditions exist, title fraud, missing or wrong payee information, seller identification that does not match owner's name on the face of a title. This consumer violated a material condition of this transaction. This consumer needs to respond to our multiple attempts to contact him, and appear in our office with proper ownership documentation to resolve this matter.

I am attaching a photo & estimate of damage ~ however I will withdraw complaint for I purchased vehicle via the web.

I was looking for a specific car and found it on [redacted]. CarNation was selling it. Being an internet sale, I was reluctant, but took a chance. Joseph at CarNation was always willing to answer any questions or information about the transaction. Joseph made this experience pleasing. I would recommend CarNation to anyone looking for a new car

I had such a wonderful experience selling my Town and Country to Joseph at Car Nation Autobuyers. He was honest, patient and really wonderful with the entire process from beginning to end! Sell your car here and save your time! Absolutely positive experience!

Although I normally sell my own cars direct, I had an older car that had some issues, and didn't have the time to go through the whole process, and just wanted a quick sale. I went on the Internet and did some searches on selling cars and found some good reviews/experiences from CarNation. I called and made an appointment to meet with Joe to evaluate my vehicle. He took some time to get to know me and tell me a little about himself. We then went out and inspected the car. He was quite knowledgeable about cars, and showed me things that were good and bad. At the end of the day, it appeared I had some serious engine issues, and he provided me a with a price that was way below what I was thinking I would get before I met with him, and I chose not to accept the offer. However, after discussing the various options I could avail myself of such as sending it to auction, etc, since he really had no interest in purchasing the car himself given these issues, he called a mechanic friend, explained the situation, and the mechanic agreed to purchase it for a fair price.
So, at the end of the day, I walked away with a check that was more than I had been offered by other mechanics, and feel that Joe "did the right thing" to try and help me get rid of the car, which was all I was looking to do.
I would recommend dealing with Joe, as he seems to know cars, and dealt with me honestly and fairly. It wasn't his fault that my car had mechanical issues, and I feel I got a good deal given the mechanical issues.
I plan to use Joe to purchase a used car shortly for my daughters who will be returning home from college for the summer, as he knows the car business, and I will see how things go on the purchasing side.
Oh, one more thing - he even took care of surrendering the plates to DMV so I didn't have to, and sent me the receipt so I could cancel my insurance. And, he arranged to get me a ride to the train station so I could get home!
All in all, a very pleasant experience -- which is sometimes hard to find when dealing with car salesman, but Joe is not "that guy"

I think it's normal to be very distrustful of the whole used car buying and selling process. I've never liked it.
But my experience with Joseph at Carnation Autobuyers was fantastic. My wife and I were moving out of the country, we'd just had a buyer for our Honda Civic fall through, and we were leaving the country in a few days.
Enter Joseph. I found him by reading all the reviews online and learned he'd built up a great level of trust and loyalty. In my experience, it has been well earned. I needed a quick resolution. While Joseph was unable to meet personally given the short time frame on my part, I was able to leave the car with him and hoped it would sell.
Within a month, Joseph had the car sold, and requested payment information, which I apparently didn't provide or an email I thought went through didn't. Because we had so many moving parts around that time while leaving the country on sabbatical, it actually slipped my mind that I never received payment (again not Joseph's fault). I had just assumed it happened.
More than a year later, when doing a detailed review of finances and taxes I realized the mistake I'd made, contacted Joseph, and he was quick to resolve the matter.
I'll admit, I was a little nervous writing him and informing him of the error I'd made, and wasn't totally sure what his response would be. But he responded quickly and wired money within less than 24 hours when he verified my claim. In my mind, this is a man who has earned the reputation of honesty you'll often see him praised for online.
Thanks Joseph, for restoring my faith in the whole used car process!

I've never experienced a dealer to be as straightforward as Joseph. No ** here. It is rare to find a dealer that does not try to screw you (and I've gone through a few, to say the least). Joseph goes out of his way to help you out and he will work with you. Give this guy a try I highly recommend him!

CarNation Autobuyers is the place to go to sell your car for cash. Joe W, the owner, is an honest upstanding businessman. He is fair and negotiable. I recently sold two cars to him.. I was so happy with the price I received for the first car I sold him in September, a 2005 Kia Sportage, that I went back again in October to sell him a 2007 Buick Lucerne. Both times the transaction went smoothly. Both times I received a price that was higher than the dealerships were offering as a trade-in-value. I would definitely go back again when I have another car to sell. I highly recommend this business.

I recently sold my Fiat @ this car nation location. The experience took less than an hour and was very pleasant. The price I was offered for my car was fair and they took care of all the paperwork for me promptly and I walked out with a check. Joseph and his team was very nice and they even dropped us off at the train station so we could get back home. I'd do business here again in a heartbeat!
