CarNation Autobuyers, Inc Reviews (28)

Hello from France !!!!

I buy a '04 Chevy explorer conversion van to Joe with CarNation Autobuyer. It's very difficult to find one in Europe. The car was in a very good shape and I have a lot of pleasure to drive it with my familly. We completed transaction with few emails at a very good price. Joe was helpful and eficient. I have a lot of classic american cars and if a have another american car to buy I send a mail to Joe. It waas a pleasure to make bussiness with you.

I am so glad we found Car Nation. We were looking for a reliable car for my daughter to go to college with. Joe talked to us as a family and related to our situation. In this day and age it is hard to find a company to buy a car from that is truly honest and treats you with integrity and respect. Joe is like having someone you know in the car business. We were fortunate to come in contact with Joe and Car nation and our transactions and dealings have been superb. They keep to their word and go above and beyond what you expect. I would highly recommend them. Everything they promised they delivered on.

This is one of the most reputable businesses I have ever dealt with. Joseph was a pleasure to work with. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and above all, fair. I find that great customer service is hard to find when dealing with most businesses. That was not the case with CarNation. The process of selling my car was quick and I felt like I was dealing with a friend. I highly recommend Joseph and Car Nation to anyone looking to see their car and get a fair price.

I think it's normal to be very distrustful of the whole used car buying and selling process. I've never liked it.
But my experience with Joseph at Carnation Autobuyers was fantastic. My wife and I were moving out of the country, we'd just had a buyer for our Honda Civic fall through, and we were leaving the country in a few days.
Enter Joseph. I found him by reading all the reviews online and learned he'd built up a great level of trust and loyalty. In my experience, it has been well earned. I needed a quick resolution. While Joseph was unable to meet personally given the short time frame on my part, I was able to leave the car with him and hoped it would sell.
Within a month, Joseph had the car sold, and requested payment information, which I apparently didn't provide or an email I thought went through didn't. Because we had so many moving parts around that time while leaving the country on sabbatical, it actually slipped my mind that I never received payment (again not Joseph's fault). I had just assumed it happened.
More than a year later, when doing a detailed review of finances and taxes I realized the mistake I'd made, contacted Joseph, and he was quick to resolve the matter.
I'll admit, I was a little nervous writing him and informing him of the error I'd made, and wasn't totally sure what his response would be. But he responded quickly and wired money within less than 24 hours when he verified my claim. In my mind, this is a man who has earned the reputation of honesty you'll often see him praised for online.
Thanks Joseph, for restoring my faith in the whole used car process!

Although I normally sell my own cars direct, I had an older car that had some issues, and didn't have the time to go through the whole process, and just wanted a quick sale. I went on the Internet and did some searches on selling cars and found some good reviews/experiences from CarNation. I called and made an appointment to meet with Joe to evaluate my vehicle. He took some time to get to know me and tell me a little about himself. We then went out and inspected the car. He was quite knowledgeable about cars, and showed me things that were good and bad. At the end of the day, it appeared I had some serious engine issues, and he provided me a with a price that was way below what I was thinking I would get before I met with him, and I chose not to accept the offer. However, after discussing the various options I could avail myself of such as sending it to auction, etc, since he really had no interest in purchasing the car himself given these issues, he called a mechanic friend, explained the situation, and the mechanic agreed to purchase it for a fair price.
So, at the end of the day, I walked away with a check that was more than I had been offered by other mechanics, and feel that Joe "did the right thing" to try and help me get rid of the car, which was all I was looking to do.
I would recommend dealing with Joe, as he seems to know cars, and dealt with me honestly and fairly. It wasn't his fault that my car had mechanical issues, and I feel I got a good deal given the mechanical issues.
I plan to use Joe to purchase a used car shortly for my daughters who will be returning home from college for the summer, as he knows the car business, and I will see how things go on the purchasing side.
Oh, one more thing - he even took care of surrendering the plates to DMV so I didn't have to, and sent me the receipt so I could cancel my insurance. And, he arranged to get me a ride to the train station so I could get home!
All in all, a very pleasant experience -- which is sometimes hard to find when dealing with car salesman, but Joe is not "that guy"

I recently contacted CarNation to sell my 2008 Lexus LS600, and was glad I did. I worked with [redacted] and he was a professional, "straight up" kind of guy. You meet so many snakes when it's time to buy or sell a car these days, that it's refreshing to come across someone who is fair, honest, straight-forward, and a man of their word -- no tricks or gimmicks. He discussed my options including a direct 'on-the-spot' sale, or consignment...whichever I was most comfortable with. He was very patient and explained exactly how both options work. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience and will definitely go back when it's time to sell my next vehicle. So, if you're thinking of trading-in or selling your car on the market, call [redacted] at CarNation first!! It'll likely save you a lot of time and headache.

They did great business.

Very glad I took the time to deal with [redacted]. He was professional, knowledgeable and upfront. I was offered a few options to sell my car with no pressure and more importantly no surprises. [redacted] kept me informed and went out of his way to answer my emails at any hours. You can trust [redacted] at carnation if you are looking to sell your car hassle free for a fair price. No bait and switch.
