I live in Orlando The Orlando office is horrible I submitted a roof claim after a big hail storm and the company simply would not pay for the damage I would not recommend this company to anyoneCustomer service treated me like a criminal for the most part and did everything in their power to not substantiate my claim

weeks after hurricane, I am still waiting for my 4th adjuster on case to submit claimThat's right the first don't work there anymore My case has fallen threw the cracks more than onceDo they care at all? Nope, just another rude person on the phone saying it's going to be a few more weeks0h look another hurricane coming while my roof is tarpedDoes anyone there care that no one returns my many calls? Nope! I would, run from this company!

We are new to this companyWithin the first month, we had a small plumbing claimWe hired a plumber and paid him and the problem was resolvedSince we had called the insurance company, they sent an adjuster to investigateHe investigated, took a recorded statement and took pictures of the rest of the house, which he said was part of the record
The same day, I called the company and cancelled our claimMy husband and I felt it was insignificant and we had already paid for the repair
Two days later, we received our cancellation noticeWe were told that we had not signed a Rejection of Sinkhole Loss Coverage Form when we bought their insuranceOur agent had noticed this earlier in the week and we had signed the form, which was inadvertently left out of the paperwork when we signed up, through no fault of our ownWe have also been presented with a demand to replace our hot water heater for a couple of rust spots along the bottom half of the unit
Our previous insurance carrier did a thorough inspection prior to cancelling us (weeks prior to this fiasco) for branches touching our roof and never mentioned the hot water heater, which I'm sure they would have if it were a legitimate issue
It seems this company is bound and determined to drop anyone who files a claimBeware! They won't be there for you after you need them

We have a home insurance policy for our house in Florida We've paid a six month cost and all over sudden, received a letter that our insurance policy will be cancelled and also it claimed that it was a second notice Never received any previous notices Had to follow up with our agent who also claimed did not receive any notices Somehow we feel it will be a rocky ride Will definitely look for alternative insurance provider

When trying to make a claim with this company following an auto accident (they are the insurers for the at fault driver), I have had to call multiple times to follow up on the claimThe most recent call, I have been on hold for over hours and have yet to speak with anyoneMy car has yet to be repaired and I have yet to actually speak to someone to find out what is going on

HORRIBLE CLAIM SERVICE! THEY WERE NOT HELPFUL, I HAD TO CALL THEM A COUPLE TIMES TO GET INFORMATION

This insurance is one of the worst I've ever hadI got into an accident June 2016, no other cars involved just mine made the report the same day, I was told someone should call me on Monday, the accident was SaturdayNo one called, I called was transferred to my adjusters line which went striaght to voicemailThe next day (Tuesday) I called again, the lady was rude, and she also told me my adjuster has no time frameIt's been almost two weeks and my adjuster has not even returned any callsNo one has contacted me at allEven left messages for supervisorsThis experience has been the worstMy car has been at the shop waiting for an adjuster to go look at it since Monday June

Horrible customer service

My story is differentAn agent charged my credit card and paid themselves for a policy I never signed and did not agree to in various emailsThe reason why is that one of the names on the homeowners policy is a person on that is neither on the deed or titleI told them they had to correct that and they said they would only AFTER I signedI refused to sign until corrected and they charged my card for the year and refuse to give me my money backI think thats a felonyThis happened yesterdayThey charged me for the full year and are now refusing to give me back my money until I sign a paper I have to write up cancelling a policy I never agreed to payMy attorney will be looking into this fraud on Monday if my money is not returned to my cardI now have Lloyd's as my insurance agent so they are now keeping my money for a policy I never agreed to pay and never signed for insuring someone who is not on the deed or titleIf this is how they treat those looking to get insured I can only fear if I had a claim!

I live in TN and bought a home in FlI insured my home through a reputable company in Panama City, but have been getting notices from Federated National that my insurance may be cancelledMy company in Panama City tells me that everything is in order and I have mailed in my premium
Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this with Federated National

I had an incident in Dec of where someone drove their car into my house I have insurance with Fed and decided to go through my insurance company assuming they were looking after my best interest As of 4/2/my house has not been repaired as Fed is disputing the amount to fix my house..in the interim the side of my house has been declared "unsafe structure" by my city and I have received violations since nothing has been done My insurance co chose to go through "appraisal process" which costs me to hire an appraiser approx 300/hr..not fair? Had no choice as it is part of my policy..there was a huge difference between what Fed thought was destroyed and what actually was destroyed since not one person from Federated including Engineer they sent out inspected the house properly..here we are almost at hurricane season I have the side of my house exposed as well as a double sliding glass door to my bathroom that the driver drove through..am stuck at this point..no one at Fed seems to feel this is an urgent matter as my house gets worse each day..can prove it with pictures showing the cracks are getting worse since the structure hasn't been repaired

I've had this company for over years, I filed claim for a broken pipe that cost $and they decided to cancel my insurance !!!! ISN'T THIS WHAT INSURANCE IS FOR ???????? This company has a bunch of corrupt *** that only pocket the moneyI will write and downgrade this company for as long as I can

Federated National is one of the worst insurance companies I have ever dealt withThey are very elusive when dealing with outside personnel and avoid settling any claims even when their clients are at fault Their adjuster, after given all the necessary information for filing an accident clam against their insured, which included a police report and traffic citations of their insured, insinuated that the incident never occurred in the first place
When attempting to contact the company be prepared to spend an excessive amount of time being transferred from person to person and being placed on holdNo one really wants to help resolve issues

I sustained roof damage during hurricane Mathew I have had FedNat for about years and carry hurricane insurance This is the first time I have filed a claim The day after the hurricane, FedNat sent a roofer out to tarp my roof I thought boy they are on the ball! That was the last and only positive interaction I have had Immediately, (before they even sent an adjuster) my home had to be inspected After years, two days after a hurricane! The person was very rude, he took pictures of the interior and exterior of my home I then got a letter in the mail saying my roof was damaged and I had days to fix it! To date, I have had three adjusters The first two no longer work there None of the three adjusters have returned phone calls and my roof is still tarped When the current adjuster took over my claim, she told me a year old woman, I needed to climb on the roof, untarp it and take more pictures for them! I politely declined and told her, the previous adjuster had already taken pictures as well as the roofing company I had first contacted and since her people tarped it they could pay to have the tarp removed, photographed and re applied I am at the point I am filing a formal complaint with the Department of Financial Office of Insurance Regulations, in *** *** office With 100% negative reviews on Revdex.com I don't understand how they have an A+ rating?? If the customer service I have received is indicative of this company's response, RUN don't walk away from giving them your business

How do you think is Okay to cancel a customer and put them in a HIGH RISK category when they haven't missed a payment, have excellent credit, and haven't submitted a claim (we submitted one but cancelled it due to the large deductible)that you guys had to pay out on?? Do you realize what type of business your in We've had many insurances companies over the years and the majority have been good You guy are not one of those At the least, you should have had someone contact us directly (since we are your customers and deserve that respect) and explained your reasoning behind dropping us Not at all impressed w you guys, and will NOT recommend you in the future

I had the owner of a dealerships' car door blow into my car on 04/03/I called the claim in on 04/04/As of today, 04/29/I had not heard from an adjusterI called to follow up and was told they could not find the claim in spite of my having a "First Notice of Loss" numberI was also hung up on times even after asking for a supervisorAs an insurance agent I have to say that this company is horrible at customer service and I can't imagine how they managed to secure an A+ ratingI would never recommend this company to anyone under any circumstances

I bought a house two years ago in area that is not in a flood zoneI live in an area with a relatively low crime rateMy house was built in the early 1900's with heart pine and cypressThe wiring was updated in the 90's, a new roof in When I purchased the house, I began paying a $1,premiumAfter the first year with no claims, my premium went up $After the second year with no claims, my premium went up $My new premium is now $2,which is a $increase in two years No believable reason has been given for the price hikeProperty tax hasn't raisedNo hurricanesNo claims

I would not recommend this homeowners insurance to anyoneCalled to renew my policy and was met by rude dismissive customer service reps who do not want to do their jobThey are so quick to get off the phone with you and wouldnt even be bothered to send a confirmation emailAlready in the process of looking for a new homeowners insurance companyWhat a big disappoinment, if their reps can't handle something as simple as a policy chance email how can they be trusted with claims

Absolutely HORRENDOUS serviceI submitted a claim on Nov 2015- it is now January 2016- a short recap: Dec 15- sent settlement check to wrong address; would not re-issue until stop payment was cleared by accounting
December 2015- UPS allegedly lost check; January 2016- UPS (allegedly) unable to deliver check due to bar code problem; the tap dance continuesI have seen few businesses that exhibit consistent incompetence as this company They don't return calls or respond to email queriesCertainly there must be at least one professional , competent employee at Federated National, who can handle a simple claim, but I haven't had the pleasure of interacting with themAvoid doing business with this company
