Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me if they keep their word that the floor will be replaced beginning Oct 12. 2015.  After being promised many times since Feb 2015 of things that would be done and times they would meet with me that often did not happen I am a little skeptical about them arriving on the date promised.  I will give them the benefit of the doubt and give them the opportunity to stand by their word.  If the results are unsatisfactory I will again contact your Revdex.com office.

Review: New construction home. Purchased all our flooring from Carpet City in Rhinelander WI. Shortly after the Feb 2015 installation we notice some defects in the installation. The grouting was separating from the floor and the high spots in the sub floor were not sand out as we were assured would happen prior to install. So there are high spots in our finished floor. The installer has returned to attempt to correct the problem and the issue still remains. Floor was never sanded smooth and more areas continue to break free of the grout. I was holding back 50% of the full payment until satisfied with the floor. Doug, the salesperson and Brian, the store manager called me and basically strong armed me demanding the final payment regardless if we were satisfied. I should have never paid them. Now all I get is the run around. I will no longer communicate with Doug as he has made numerous promises and never follows through. Brian, the Mgr has also now made promises to come to our home to view the issue and he too now is failing to follow through. The repairs the Installer has attempted are only temporary fixes. The issues keep reappearing and now Brian the store Mgr won't follow through on his word. I have emails and text messages proving their promises. I feel I have been more than patient and given Carpet City every opportunity to correct this issue and now it has come to this. We have blue tape all over our floor showing the defects in our brand new home. I regret ever making the final payment as now we have no leverage. The dates I am listing as complaint dates are only approximate times. To this day I continue to contact Brian and Mike to attempt to resolve this issue and not Brian again is not keeping his word. Tired of the excuses, tired of the run around.Desired Settlement: The floor needs to be removed, sanded properly and reinstalled properly on a level surface. If Carpet City refuses to complete a new installation we will then be demanding full compensation to have the floor removed and replaced by a reputable dealer / installer.

Response:

This is in response to a recent customer complaint. This customer was contacted the day the complaint was submitted to the corporate office by the store manager and met in person where a conclusion was reached. The problem is scheduled to be repaired by an installer at a time that is convenient for both parties.

Review: We build a new home in 2011 and in November we had Carpet Warehouse install all the flooring. After installation of the vinyl there was a large bubble in the hallway. They came and glued the area again. We had concerns at the time of this happening in other areas and was told it would be taken care of if that occurred. Since then we have several areas that have let loose, there is one area where the bubble has cracked. It has been looked at and pictures taken and now a moisture test is being done and was suppose to be 72 hours and they were to come and get it yesterday and did not. This has been dragging on. I do not believe the problem lies in the representative from the Marshfield, WI Carpet Warehouse but with his superiors. A resolution needs to be reached as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: The flooring will not hold up and will need to be replaced sooner than it would under normal circumstances. We would like a cash refund so that when we need to replace the flooring it will not be at our expense.

Response:

We have heard from the company. They did a moisture test that was suppose to be 72 hours and was left over a week so the accuracy would be questionable.

When Rob picked up the moisture test he said we should hear from him in a week it has now been two weeks. No other contact has been made by the company.
