Good morning,
I apologize for the late response. I was satisfied with the response of the Business with whom I had the complaint, however, I wanted to ensure that they were going to follow through with their solution before labeling my account as "Satisfied With the Outcome/Solution" until the company sent the check to my residence.
Having said that, I received the check last week while I was out of the country, in Haiti, and was unable to access my email.
Thank you for your assistance, I greatly appreciate the assistance and quick response of the Revdex.com.

The car when purchased from the auto auction was already in need of transmission work.  He misrepresented the condition of the car.  This most certainly does NOT resolve this complaint and your reputation is being damaged by your continued high rating.  I continue to stress that business practices are NOT ethnical.

The customer ([redacted]) came into Cars 4 Best on (12/26/2015) after seeing a vehicle online. The customer came in looking for a 2006 Cadillac SRX. Working with my salesman she was very satisfied with the cars condition and decided to take it for a spin. Everything checks out, she was happy with the car. So my salesman brought her in to get the approval from my finance manager so she can take the car home. The customer was approved by [redacted]. The customer drove the car home, as soon as she left we faxed over the documentation to the lender to start the process. Only a couple days after the date of sale the customer received a phone call from the bank. The bank called the customer asking if they are satisfied with the vehicle and the customer stated she was happy with the car and there was no issues with the vehicle. When the paperwork was being signed the vehicle was selling “AS-IS”, we offered her an extended warranty for her own benefit but she refused. By law any documentation we have is the rules we must go by. If the car was sold with a warranty that would be honored, but unfortunately that is not the case. The car is sold “AS-IS” so my company cannot provide any additional assistance at all. When the vehicle was here on my lot we were not aware of any issues. The customer is stating issues being a 02-sensor, and brakes and rotors, which are very minimal issues mainly that would not be replaced even with a warranty.

No my issue has not been resolved but thank you for your effort.  I think I knew that Cars for best would not to fix the problem since they're a bunch of crooks anyway.

Yes, we test drove the vehicle for approximately 5-10minutes (should've driven it longer). It drove well as there was no rattling, or shaking during that limited drive. It had a slight forward jolting motion on acceleration, which the dealer said could be fixed with a $250 device that he showed us on Google. This would have been the PERFECT time to mention..."oh, and by the way, the transmission is shot". But there was NEVER any mention of a transmission problem!!! By morning, less than 8hrs after purchase, [redacted] found that the transmission needed repaired, or replaced! This DID NOT HAPPEN ON THE 1.5 HR DRIVE HOME THE NIGHT BEFORE. This dealer is trying to hide behind an "as-is" clause. He had driven that car and recently had it inspected, so there is no way he was unaware of it's condition. It gets better...as for the warranty...we received a denial letter two days after purchase that they will not cover this vehicle because of significant PRE-EXISTING repair issues (see attachment).  "As-is" can only be fair to the consumer if the dealer discloses ALL mechanical, structural, and operational issues UP FRONT!!! "As-is" is NOT a loop hole to allow dealers to sell cars in need of major repairs, at the expense of the unsuspecting buyer.

Unfortunately, no offer was offered to resolve the problem. As expected the only thing thats being offered are more excuses as to why they won't hold up their part of the deal. As the consumer it is not my concern when or how they car dealership pays the warranty company. My only concern is that I actually have a warranty and at this point I still don't and the BMW broke down on the road today yet again...again it will need to be towed the mechanic tomorrow for more unexpected expenses with no warranty.  Furthermore, I contacted the finance company Westlake Financial Services today and was told that they were unaware that the warranty on the BMW was inactive and were shocked that Cars 4 Best has been uncooperative in this process. They are investigating the process and their transaction history with Cars 4 Best because they don't wish to do business with a company thats participating in this type of practice as it makes their company look bad. Westlake Financial informed me that my account has not and will not be credited and that it is the responsibility of the car dealership to refund the money to me since Westlake has already paid Cars 4 Best for the warranty.  They were unaware that Cars 4 Best never paid the warranty company. So again, I am still in need of a refund of the warranty for $[redacted] that was included with the finance of the BMW.  I'm not sure why the representative from Cars 4 Best even mentioned the loaner car. It is customary procedure to allow your clients to drive a loaner car but not mandatory. After all they put me thru, this is the least they could have done. They don't earn brownie points for practicing good customer service with the loaner...thats expected.  What they left out is that I was using the loaner car because it took them days to solidify the financing for BMW and prepare the car. While they were doing that, I had another car that I considered trading in to them but after I saw how terrible they handled this transaction I decided to trade my other car at a different much more reputable dealership and have had zero problems with my other new car. Why would I even consider buying another car for them. No one should...they should be shut down.  Not to mention it took them over a month to send my hard tags to me and when I finally got them they were expiring within the same month. Who does business like this?  This is the absolute worst car-buying experience I've ever had. I need my warranty money back for $[redacted] and I'll never want to have anything to do with them again.

Dear Revdex.com,  The customer was originally delivered the desired vehicle of purchase. Paper work was done with all legal documents. There was no fraudulent activity done at all. Cars 4 Best even paid for the customer's insurance down payment and past due balance fees, to help the customer, which was...

documented. The customer decided they wanted to change the vehicle to a [redacted] The [redacted] that was on my lot had a couple minor cosmetic issues and the customer was not happy with so we offered her a loaner vehicle to drive in out of good faith until we found her another one. Eventually she decided to purchase the [redacted] on my lot and she did all the paperwork, the deal was in funding and they when they were verifying her insurance, the insurance policy was canceled. We can return the customers down payment. We must take out the dealer Processing fee, and also all of the insurance fees we paid for the customer.Best Regards,Tony, General ManagerCars 4 Best

Dear Consumer,  Cars 4 Best did not "coerce" the client to make any kind of deposit. We offered to the client if they were interested in holding the vehicle we had the option available to them. She then offered to put $[redacted] up to hold the vehicle. The total down payment amount on this vehicle...

was $[redacted].** which was explained to the client. I understand you are the mother of the client and you live in a different state and your trying to look out for your daughters best interest. But we had already resolved the terms with the client. The father of the client came into the dealership and worked on terms with the finance director and left the dealership happy and is looking to purchase a second vehicle from my dealership at a further date. We did not pressure the client and we wish to do business with the client and family happily.Best Regards,Tony, Cars 4 Best General Manager.

font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Hello, [redacted] came to look at the vehicle on 4/20/2015. He came in and test drove the vehicle, and liked the way the car was driving. He was happy with the car and we got him approved through financing and he put $2000.00 down payment on the vehicle. The vehicle was sold AS-IS from my company and there was no EXT, warranty available for this vehicle with its mileage and year. After explaining to the customer why the vehicle is not eligible for an extended warranty the customer said he was still happy with the car and decided to purchase the car anyway AS-IS with no warranty and I have his signature on my AS-IS form.
The finance company requires to have an interview with every finance deal customer. Customer mentioned to the finance company on 4/30/2015 that he was satisfied with the vehicle. Also I do want to mention my company also took this vehicle to get Emission and inspection. Meaning the vehicle had nothing wrong with the car.
My dealership is not responsible for any sort of issues with the vehicle. When it was on my lot it was running smooth, why else would a customer purchase it with out a warranty. However if the vehicle does run into issues the customer which was driving the vehicle can manage to blow out a transmission by improperly driving the vehicle. If a customer drives rough and high revs the vehicle and does not check if there is even oil in the car on a timely matter. How can I be responsible. The vehicle was purchased for the buyers son, who is a 20 year old young man. That's why I do not doubt that the vehicle was most certainly driven roughly.
I can provide all the documents you need. I make sure to get all the paperwork I need before selling a car. Please dismiss this case as soon as you can because my company cannot be responsible for improper driving and lack of attention and maintenance on a vehicle. Also I want to mention the amount of Profit my company makes should not be of any interest or business to a customer.

I received business response as it is still fraudulent with statements made from them in response yes eventually I was delivered the vehicle in which no wanted to purchase from them from beginning going into dealer. I was told several times from [redacted] that deal wouldn't work and couldn't get that vehicle. Many times they swap my deals with different vehicles trying to get approve fraudulently in my brothers name even lying about how much my brother made to show pay stubs in which were sent to banks to get approvals made so in that time yes I had many of their loaners while waiting. Of course I took loaners to use back and forth for work especially after I made down payment. The [redacted] was just another deal they tried to push but it didn't work being as though the minor issues [redacted] the manager stated in response were minor were major anything dealing with engine isnt minor!.on top of fact with insurance being brought by dealer they took upon themselves to get insurance and fraudulently did that without my consent to speed up process of a deal approval on they're behalf. I told them I would get it they just didn't want to wait. I believe that's a crime too! On top of me finally getting vehicle initially I wanted everything in that contract is lies and being though I'm within ** days of a full REFUND of what I paid needs to be issued not a half of processing because wasn't nothing processed I was told by [redacted] finance manager the deal isn't even through!. Once again with bull lies of fake deals. Yes paperwork was sign in brother name not mines! The deal is completely fraudulent and if full refund isn't issue I would continue with legal matters to ensure this dealership does any more business. I'm within 2 1/2 weeks of even having vehicle they finally given after all this time for it to be returned with engine light on, mismatch tires, battery tampered with screw holding post on battery, vehicle doesn't even start it needs to be towed to them. On top of these legal documents of deal they stated were sign I need proof for attorney. Also. Insurance paid for by them was for a [redacted] they fraudulent did without consent them told me last min when deal didn't work switch to another deal of 2 different [redacted] which were different colors of both having problems. That wouldn't nobody want to drive off a lot with weather buying new or used car!. This place is good with their continuously lies all I need is full REFUND of what I put down and they can have this vehicle in which they were suppose to been picked up last week on the 23th of august after speaking with [redacted] finance manager of problems.

Review: Monday 5/2 @ approx 9pm, we bought a car after test driving it for a few minutes and noticed no blatant handling problems. However on the way home from the dealership, approximately 10 minutes into the drive the "check engine" light came on and the vehicle proceeded to shake violently the entire trip home. For safety reasons, we decided to drive straight to the local [redacted] hoping they could service it in the morning. They did...at 07:20am 5/3 and found significant transmissions fluid leaks that they could not service. [redacted] advised us to go to a transmissions shop to either repair, or replace the transmission. The extended warranty we purchased with the car does not go in to effect until 10days after car purchase. So for now, we have had to place our newly purchased vehicle in our garage because it is too unsafe to drive and we must wait 10days before we can use our warranty. This vehicle has a May inspection sticker affixed which leads us to believe that the inspector had to have informed the dealer of the transmissions issues. We believe this dealer knew about HIS vehicle either through driving it, or by it's recent state inspection...but chose NOT to disclose that information at the time of purchase. Had we been given full disclosure of the issues, my husband and I could have made an INFORMED decision to proceed (or not). The reviews on this business depict countless consumers who have had many horrible encounters with this unethical dealer. Withholding pertinent information that may have lead to our harm, or death is unscrupulous! We unknowingly drove 90+ miles in a torrential rain storm Mon night in a vehicle with serious mechanical issues...because a morally deceptive and financially corrupt dealer wanted to make a sale. His actions are of grave concern to the community at large. Please investigate. Thank you for being our advocate!Desired Settlement: Dealer to cover the costs to repair or replace the transmission

To Whom This May Concern, [redacted](Buyer) came into Cars 4 Best and came looking specifically for the 2006 [redacted] ,that was advertised online. The customer test drove the vehicle and decided they : liked the suv: The car had a buyers guide in the window of the vehicle stating the vehicle was selling "AS-IS". The customer liked the car and said they felt the transmission was rough . Still the customer decided to purchase the vehicle with some negotiation. The customer was offered a EXT . Warranty. The customer purchased the extended warranty on the vehicle. But still tried to call Cars4Best for repairs on the vehicle after it was made clear when selling the car that the warranty repairs were not to be requested by Cars4Best. The customer signed the Buyer's Order stating the customer is aware the vehicle .is selling "AS-IS" . The customer also signed on the Buyer's Guide stating they are aware that the vehicle they are purchasing "AS - IS" with no warranty. Cars 4 Best is not responsible for any repairs if the vehicle if sold "As - Is". Cars 4 Best will only follow paperwork and documentation.

Review: I bought a vehicle on 12/26/15. Two days later the check engine light came on. I had onstar run a diagnostic, as well as my mechanic. It was an O2 sensor. I have e to assume the codes were cleared, but let it go. Less than a month after purchase the brakes were so bad that I had to replace pads and rotors. Now it is a month and a half after purchase and the vehicle had to be towed because the timing chain and pulleys need replaced. I found out after purchase that this dealership has a shady reputation for selling vehicles with very short or no warranty with no disclosure of known problems.Desired Settlement: The dealership can either pay the 2800 for the repairs, the 125 for the tow and the 400 for the rental or they can replace it with a vehicle of my choice or I can get my attorney involved.

Regards,

Review: Vehicle was not properly maintained at dealership. In addition to the thin threaded tires I was able to visibly notice, this vehicle had many issues internally. This vehicle was in a bad accident and no one at the dealer mentioned it, I was able to fix one problem but the alignment barely passes inspection. Also, my car key did not work properly, due to the negligence of not using the vehicle on some sort of rotation. If they had maintained their products as if they truly cared about customer satisfaction, then they would have noticed this error. Another issue I had was gas leaking due to dry rot on the fuel system. If their mechanics looked at the vehicle fully they would have noticed a hole next to the gas tank. Lastly, this vehicle was not worth what I paid for it, as a matter of fact I personally feel like everyone who purchased a car from them along with myself has gotten ripped off. Not everyone in this world is a mechanic to know what issues may arise with buying a used vehicle, but the dealer is responsible for maintaining their products and selling their customers decent cars, not selling them pieces of junk.Desired Settlement: This business needs to take better care of their used cars. Having them sit on the lot for months on end until someone buys it, is not how they should continue to run. There are plenty of employees who work their that can put in the time to notice and fix major issues with these vehicles. I now have a good reliable car because I took the time to satisfy myself and get a mechanic to fix the issues that were in place. This dealership sold me a lemon, but I was the one who fixed it not them, they did absolutely nothing, even when I did call they said they could not help me. I do hope next time a customer asks for help they help them and not push them to the side.

Revdex.com Case # [redacted]CARS4BEST9/18/2015Customer, [redacted], came into Cars4Best on 8/8/2015 to take a look at the vehicle, the vehicles selling price was on PROMOTION for $7786.00 and was the lowest in the area with only 67500 miles on the odometer. The vehicle was not sitting on my lot for "months" it was relatively new and was only a couple weeks old. My company did minor repairs before selling the vehicle to make it as perfect as we could, we put 4 tires on the car and had gotten balancing done, we installed new brakes on the car as well, and did a few other minor repairs we felt the vehicle needed. of course we have the receipts and correct documentation for these specified items. When the vehicle was on my lot it showed no signs of any defects. It was running very smooth and was in great shape. From my company the vehicle was sold "AS-IS" with no warranty from my company, we did offer her an EXTENDED warranty that the customer decided on purchasing after reading through all of which the extended warranty covers. If the vehicle was sold "With Warranty" through my company of course I would follow what ever us written in black and white and take care of what ever is covered. However this is not the case, my company will follow only what the documents state, anything that is written and signed by any one of my representatives, we will follow those terms. My employee [redacted] that did not sell her the car, was being very helpful to [redacted] and also [redacted] mother when she had called. Terms were agreed to before sale, if my company were to go back on terms and change it after the sale, there would be no reason to have terms in the first place. If customer is requesting my company offers a warranty after the vehicles sold, that's like my company selling a vehicle "with warranty" and going back after the sale and changing terms to "As-Is". Which is very Unethical and also illegal. We did mention to the customer they have a ONE year extended warranty that they can use and the warranty company will assist them with repairs.

Review: I brought a car from car4best for 6K 4 weeks after purchase the traction control went out a few days the transmission went out total repairs exceeded 10K. While it is realm of possibility that dealer had no idea is seems unlikely. The car was a 2004 Cadillac and due to its age they were not able to offer a warranty. The dealer refuses to offer any assistance. I made one payment and now have a pile of used parts.Desired Settlement: Return of the 2K down payment. Due to fact that the dealer paid only 1500 at action he is still making a great profit.

Review: On Saturday, May 28, 2016, at approximately 5:30pm, my 20 year old son and I went to Cars 4 Best to test drive a [redacted] 146,000 miles price listed for $3999.00. When we arrive Mr. Erkin Jan "Erik" assisted us. When we told him which vehicle we were here to test drive, he immediately said, "Oh yes, good choice because the Prius is $3000.00 due to the Memorial Day Holiday." We were excited, tested drove it and I went in and put done a $200.00 deposit. I have the receipt. I told him we will be paying cash but the banks will not be open until Tuesday morning. He said that's fine because I'm paying cash and the deposit holds your car for 72 hours. As promised, my son and his father returned today, Tuesday, May 31st at approximately 3pm, to purchase the vehicle. I get a call from my son's father inquiring about the asking price, I told him $3000.00, he tells me that "Erik" did not quote that price that both myself AND my son miss heard him. The price is $3999.00. Mr. Erik Jan was asked to refund my $200.00 deposit and he stated that the only way he will refund it is if I personally returned to his business with my debit card for him to reswipe. I told him, that after he lied about our transaction I definitely do not trust him reswiping my debit card and I am fine with a company check sent to my home address or cash. Not to mention we travelled 1 hour to get to his dealership. When you utilize your debit card and not credit it's the same as cash. All I want is my $200 without giving them reswiping my debit card. I am going out of the country in a few days and I do not need to find out that they "made a mistake" and took out $200 instead of putting it back in. I do not trust this business because of this incident. I upheld the law and retired as a law enforcement officer this summer after 29 years and integrity is the UTMOST to have as a person and in a business. Cars4Best just lost their integrity.Desired Settlement: To have my $200.00 refunded to me via check in mail or cash.

Dear customer, My name is Talha C[redacted] the manager of this facility. I do apologize with your experience with my company. I can explain deeper, we have no problem returning the amount you had put for the security deposit. What my salesman was trying to explain is simple, since you were the buyer of the vehicle and your card was ran for the transaction, we needed you to be present here so we can return the deposit onto your card. Its our company policy if there is any deposit to be returned it can only be returned into the hands of the customer who left the deposit. Not a spouse of relative. the reason for this is, if we returned it to someone that is here on your behalf, we don't want the customer that authorized that payment to claim to not have received the return. The price of the was the miscommunication. This vehicle is on PROMO sale for $3999.00. This vehicle is selling in the auction for more then $3300.00 we have a very reasonable price. The price was on promotion for $3999.00 not $2999.00. To clear up this matter I will go ahead and take it into my control and mail you a check for the deposit that you have left. I do apologize for the inconvenience and I do hope to help you in the future, we will do our best to make sure you are satisfied. Please contact us and we can speak on the mailing address. Best Regards.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [redacted]

Regards,

Good morning,

Review: On 3/11/15 I buy a car from this dealer and every since the first day its been in the shop for repairs total cost of 1911.89 that I paid to replace and into the second week of this the transmission broken down on me estimate cost by the BMW shop is 14,114 to have it repair, all of this in weeks of the purchase of this car.I have get in touch with the bank about this issue and was told to contact the dealer over this issue I have try for a week now and no response or call back. I paid cash for this car 5,000 with a check from [redacted] and 1,600 that I play out of my pocket. I also paid in for tags and other fees and been trying to contact the dealer for this issue to because tag run out on 4/11/15 plus the bank also need the title from this dealerDesired Settlement: I know with used cars you are going to have issues with them, and I agree but a transmission on a car do not go or break down on two weeks without the dealer know it was bad in the first place. I was like for my refund on this purchase of this vehicle. Thank you
