Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted] ***

WE at Carubba Collision are very sorry for all the events that have taken place durning this repairAs unfortunate as all these complaints are, we will honor our lifetime warranty policy and make ANY necessary repairs to his vehicle to include transportation while repairs are made at not charge to the GuestOnce Vehicle is repaired to Mr [redacted] expectations the exchange of payment ($3,421.00) will have been fulfilledAdditionally we agree that Mr [redacted] was inconvenienced thru time and aggravation and Carubba Collision will reimburse additional $350.00, added to the $and $which will total $on his repairsCarubba Collision considers Mr [redacted] a Valued Guest and will provide him with a voucher for $towards any Collision repairs in the futureWe feel this total $1,offer reflects any inconveniences Mr [redacted] may have occurred

*** ***s ford 4xwith miles on it was repaired at our Jamestown location for drivers side door and fender damageMost any vehicle with damage close to the front end wheel area Insurance will pay for a front end alignment to insure no damage was done in that area or to find damage that may occurred fromm the collision** *** vehicle was take to a sublet garage due to the side of the vehicle and lift kit and wide tires (this is not a 4xtruck, it had alternations for this to be a mudder truck) , the sublet garage is about miles away, we drove it there for the alignment due to insurance will not pay for a tow due to the vehicle is drivableThe items front end steering items found by the sublet garage were deemed to be worm out possibly due to high mileage and the fact this vehicle appears to be a off road truckIt is very unlikely we could have damaged his truck driving it to the sublet garageAlso if *** *** feels the collision was fault of the fron end damage he needs to address this with his Insurance company as we told himWe repaired the body damage as per the insurance claim which was our responsibilityWe are not sure what else *** *** expects us to do at this time?

On March 19th when Enterprise told us that the Guest was reimbursed money owned for overpayment it turned out to NOT be trueThey agreed to pay this back on 1/as per attached log notes in our operating system but this never happenedWe would have no way of knowing this until it’s brought
to our attention, when it was we checked with Enterprise and they claimed it was taken care of, turned out it was NOTIn my opinion this was Enterprises mistake toward the Guest that we have been blamed forWe at Carubba Collision try do all we can to provide guest with satisfactory service, some things at times between the Guests Insurance providers and Rental Companies are not what we would be involved inWe do all we can to intervene and assist guests when necessary and mediate for our quality guestsWe feel we did all the right things with this concern and did provide quality service to our Guest

On 7/10/Guest contacted us that her front bumper on her *** *** ** that we completed repairs on 3/19/($1,total cost of repair) was falling offWe at no charge towed the vehicle to our Niagara Falls Blvd location where the vehicle was originally repairedOnce vehicle arrived and our Guest service rep and estimator looked over the front bumper they determined that the vehicle had been involved in another collision of some sort, the bumper was attached to vehicle and the bumper was NOT falling off due to workmanshipAt the Guest request we compiled another Customer pay street estimate which totaled $for replacement of bumper and temporally attached bumper so vehicle was safe to drive at no costGuest seemed to understand and accept this was not due to poor workmanship on our part and left with no follrequested for repairs being done. The repair we completed in March took days (3/10/15-3/19/which included a weekend) which can be average time for this type of repair during this time of year. The additional costs ($200.00) for her rental appear to be additional coverages thru the rental company that the Guest would have chosen to adhereWe paid for three days coverage due to the length of the repair and to assist and reduce her expense. Attached is a ALLDATA diagram that shows the numerous bolts and clips that attach the bumper to the vehicle, if this was falling off due to poor workmanship it would have been noticeable and not took almost months to fall offOur Estimators are licensed and trained professionals to tell the difference between a collision and poor workmanship and are fully aware of our Lifetime Warranty and would have had no problem repairing this vehicle if workmanship caused the bumper to come looseWe would recommend that this guest contact her Insurance provider and agent to seek recommendations on how to best repair her vehicle if another collision has taken place

We have already contacted Mrs*** and are repairing her vehicleThe part that was damaged on her vehicles holds another part that we ordered for her, when she brought the vehicle back we noticed damage under the car that she would never realize had happened due to the car being low to the ground
She is brining the car back to us and we will repair that damage so the other part will attach and fit properly

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I have never been involved in any other accident since March when my bumper was repairedAlso, I have never heard of the entire bumper coming off from "one scratch" (that was pointed out by the repairman) which was assumed to have caused a complete detachment of my bumperIf some force caused enough stress to completely tear off my bumper, there would have been some sort of indication of bigger damage (i.ea dent.) One "scratch" is not nearly enough force to make my bumper come off, and in my year of possession with this car, I have never had a problem like thisMy belief is that the initial repair was not done correctly, and for the amount of money I had to pay out of pocket, I find this matter absolutely absurdThe explanation provided by Carrubba Collision is not valid because it still does not logically explain what happened nor does it not resolve my issue
Regards,
*** ***

Damage related to the accident as agreed upon with USAA was fixed. Mr*** brought vehicle back to Carubba with mechanical issues. Carubba took vehicle to *** *** Auto where it was discovered shocks and stabilizers were worn and needed
replacement. *** *** determined not accident related rather, damage occurred from off road driving (not an incorrect repair) Mr*** had vehicle moved to Jeep dealer. To our knowledge he has not paid for any tow and has only paid for the overage from his $/ day policy for rental reimbusal : cents per day totaling $8.84, and his $deductible. Insurance company was not falsely charged as Carubba worked closely with USAA during the repair

I am satisfied that I was refunded my OWN MONEY that I paid out of pocket for a economy-sized rental car I was FORCED to drive because my vehicle was ran off the roadI, however, don't understand why, in the several phone calls that I made in March to Carubba Collision, that I was responsible for getting my reimbursement when there was a note in the system all along that I was gonna be refundedI am not pleased that it had to take months and a complaint to the Revdex.com for Carubba Colllision to proactively try to get me my own money backWhere was this prompt service when I was driving the *** *** rental car and *** kept charging my debit card $per day plus taxes (in the four weeks that it took to repair my car)?

These damages didn't happen from the accident, as they keep claimingI attached the mechanics paper work in last response, showing there was no prior damages before sending to auto body shopI drove my truck to the shop myself and it was fineWhen I picked it up after their repair, I noticed it wasn't driving correctlyMy truck is not used for off roading like they keep sayingThey are responsible for damages and need to take responsibility for their mistake and pay for damages.Thank you,*** ***

Again I do not know what this guest wants? There is NO possible way we did this damage driving the vehicle to and from the alignment shop. All of these items are high mileage wear out for this type of vehicle that is possibly used for off road. We feel we repaired what his claim was from the collision damage that insurance authorized. To the best of my knowledge this collision damage occurred while the vehicle was parked which is why the Insurance provider denied the front end parts claim.Randy P[redacted]Assistant to the PresidentVP Corporate Training / Safety Officer###-###-####

This is a very unfortunate series of events for our Guest, Carubba Collision take full responsibility for the delays in repairs. We have contacted the Guest ( Guests Insurance provider has contacted guest also) and...

updated the new completion date to 10/30/2015. This repairs is what we call a heavy hit ($12,288.00) and has a lot of repair time involved, along with sublet mechanical involved on items we don't and can't preform. I wish I could say that every repair we make goes according to the repair plan and that we live in a perfect world, but we don't. We should have had better communication with Guest and done a much better job for recalculating the new repair plan once the original completion date was NOT going to be met.

This Guest signed authorizations to pay and repair, so we ordered parts and scheduled out the repair. Then the Guest decided to NOT have us do any repairs. Due to us ordering parts and having authorizations we deposited the Insurance check for deposit. Our process for refunding checks is to check...

with the Insurance Company first so that they are not also refunding monies. Today we have received the ok to refund the full amount of the refund check to the Guest and will be sent out in a timely manner. Attached is the signed authorizations we ask for upon drop off. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused the Guest.

On 7/10/2015
Guest contacted us that her front bumper on her [redacted] that we completed
repairs on 3/19/2015 ($1,733.95 total cost of repair) was falling off. We at no
charge towed the vehicle to our 1500 Niagara Falls Blvd location where...

the
vehicle was originally repaired. Once vehicle arrived and our Guest service rep
and estimator looked over the front bumper they determined that the vehicle had
been involved in another collision of some sort, the bumper was attached to
vehicle and the bumper was NOT falling off due to workmanship. At the Guest
request we compiled another Customer pay street estimate which totaled $892.24
for replacement of bumper and temporally attached bumper so vehicle was safe to
drive at no cost. Guest seemed to understand and accept this was not due to
poor workmanship on our part and left with no follow-up requested for repairs
being done.
         The repair we
completed in March took 9 days (3/10/15-3/19/15 which included a weekend) which
can be average time for this type of repair during this time of year.
          The
additional costs ($200.00) for her rental appear to be additional coverages
thru the rental company that the Guest would have chosen to adhere. We paid for
three days coverage due to the length of the repair and to assist and reduce
her expense.

bumper to the vehicle, if this was falling off due to poor workmanship it would
have been noticeable and not took almost 4 months to fall off. Our Estimators
are licensed and trained professionals to tell the difference between a
collision and poor workmanship and are fully aware of our Lifetime Warranty and
would have had no problem repairing this vehicle if workmanship caused the
bumper to come loose. We would recommend that this guest contact her Insurance
provider and agent to seek recommendations on how to best repair her vehicle if
another collision has taken place.

The area Manager never told me it would take 8-10 days before I received the $100 gift card. I contacted him on Monday 2-6 and Tuesday 2-7 both times I left a voice mail and he did not call me back. I did contact him on Friday 2-10 and we did speak then. I did receive the gift card on Thursday. But I am still not satisfied because of their lack of communication during this entire process. I want a refund of $500 in order to be satisfied.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I reject the business response. The issue did not start until the day I received my car back from them. This was unrelated to a previous repair of which I never had trouble in almost a year.Regards,

After a full review of this repair I do NOT feel as Carubba Collision is responsible for this repair:1. Guest claims that another Dodge dealership did a $2000 repair to this vehicle in the past. He was told he should go back to them for a warranty repair due to this NOT being part of the damage...

claim.2. We did NOT take the bumper fully off the vehicle, (DROP) on the Estimate means we detached loosely at the Right front fender area to remove fender. The Guest was informed of this process as to what this meant on the estimate. We did NOT remove the Bumper to cause any wiring issues. 3. At our Expense we had a Dodge Dealer diagnosis the vehicle and they say it's a Short to Ground that is setting the code. This code would NOT be set from a disconnected wire but from a fault in the wiring system is more probable. 4. The vehicle was NOT in a collision that caused repairs to be made that could have caused this damage, there was a [redacted] to the fender.5. If the Guest is willing he can contact me and make arrangements to look the vehicle over one more time to see if we did anything wrong and to explain our repairs once again. Feel free to have him contact Randy [redacted]  Assistant to the Pres/CEO @[redacted] between 9-5 M-F5. We did a simple repair that involved replacing the Right Fender, paint and tire and wheel.
