To whom it may concern,To first begin this vehicle was pre-inspected by our ASC certified technician and there was nothing noted about any issues about the power windows or power door locks or gas cap not properly working. During the process of purchasing the vehicle the customer was asked to sign 3...

separate documents stating whether or not there were any promises at all promised and on three different documents he stated that he had no issues and that nothing was promised as I have provided in the attachment. Regardless [redacted] brought the car back and out of complete good faith we fixed the gas door cap that at time of purchase was perfectly operable as well as the power windows but as far as the door locks we said we would do it at our cost as long as he paid for the parts and labor. [redacted] at that point refused. As a dealership we pride ourselves in providing quality vehicles and exceptional service. The reason we have these documents in place is to avoid any confusion and to make sure any promises that the dealership makes is in writing as that is the kind of dealership we are. Regardless even though nothing was in writing and the vehicle had been inspected and everything was noted operable we still took care of a couple issues free of charge for the customer. All together we still hold our promise to cover his rear door lock at our cost as long as he pays for the part and labor but other than that as a dealership we have nothing promised anything on paper or verbally as the signed documents with [redacted]'s signature express. At the end of the day we are customer driven but we also want it to be a fair situation. We feel as we went out of our way to make the customer as satisfied as possible and at this point is going for extra things that doesn't make sense to the dealership. Once again thank you for your purchase and if you would ever like to talk please feel free to call us at point.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  Stating my reasons based on his reply;
To first begin we did not sign paperwork outside as we have several witnesses proving that the customer signed inside.
1.  I reject this claim.  I placed a $200 deposit in cash and signed papers with Josh on the hood of my Dodge Ram in the dark to hold the truck the next day. Papers were signed 2 times.  At night, and during the day.
The customer signed every document stating it was indeed a 1995 so the customer fully understood what the year of the vehicle was.
2. I reject this claim. I was sold this vehicle under misrepresentation that the vehicle was a 2000 Suburban with a 454 engine.  IN NO TIME did Josh inform me other wise. He stood right in front of the vehicle and told me it was a year 2000 with a 454 engine. I also gave him my reasons why I was looking for a stronger vehicle and he knew it. To tow my boat.   I stated in opening my claim dispute I did not read the fine print. He nor the manager informed me VERBALLY  that it was other wise. I signed the papers based on verbal trust.  This is why am angry and why I have opened this dispute.
3rd the customer did the deposit with a purchase order and "we owe" disclosure stating the status of the vehicle.
3.  I also reject this claim for the reasons stated above.
4th,  the vehicle was not sold for driving purposes. As you can see on multiple documents the customer purchased this vehicle for parts and salvage only.  As you can see it is clearly written on the purchase order that it is sold for parts and salvage only and that the vehicle should be towed off the lot. And as you can see we did not charge for any DMV fees for processing as the vehicle was not supposed to be sold for driving purposes but rather parts only.
I reject this claim because I have TEXT MESSAGES ON MY PHONE WITH JOSH AND MY FRIEND [redacted] STATING THE REASONS I WAS SEEKING A TRUCK. I am willing and able to submit these back and forth text messages with Josh and it was not for parts and salvage.  He knows, and so did the manager why I was there to purchase a truck, to tow my boat.  Not to buy a piece of junk.  I also would like to add that when I called Josh to complain he did not pick up his phone. A manager named "Greg" took the call and proceeded to say my concerns we're (Excuse me)  [redacted]. They are dishonest crooks and I will go the extra mile to make sure other consumers are protected from being victimized by their fraudulent techniques.  I will never sign papers again in the dark and take a car sales man's word for it.    However at the end of the day he just does what his boss tells him to.  So the boss is the real crook and it's disgusting. Sincerely,[redacted]

My initial thoughts of Carz Planet were great salesmen.... and our initial experience was good as long as their was the prospect we would spend money. And we did. Over 70K in 2 days on 2 vehicles. Our first bad experience came when they told us our trade in was mechanically unsound. They lied to us...

telling us they may lower the trade value or undue our deal because of it. The truck ended up going to an outside 4 start dealer to be evaluated. Knowing the dealership personally, and still owning the truck, called and got a print out report of our trade in. Shop report was best Diesel truck they had seen in years. And they didn't understand why Carz Planet was stating otherwise. When confronted with this, they continued to say our trade in had issues, but stopped telling us the deal might not go through. As of today, their mechanic insists our trade in had significant issues, despite proof otherwise. My second bad experience came when I was given 2 weeks to have my vehicle gone through. I took it to a Master Mechanic, at a major Jeep dealer. Their inspection showed the breaks to be unsafe. I got a print out of this information. Called the dealer. Was told to drive in for their mechanic to look at it. Their mechanic, walked out to the parking lot, and w.o removing the tire, proceeded to "measure" the breaks. He came back in and told me the other dealer was wrong and that I had at least a year of break pad left and the Jeep dealership was wrong. I was floored. I drove away. I then had 2 more mechanics remove the tire to check the breaks, and they all said the breaks were bad, just like the original evaluation and that they sales lots should have replaced them prior to the sale for safety reasons. The end result, I paid to put breaks on my Jeep, 1 week after purchase, after spending 42K on one vehicle. The third bad experience, was post purchase when I attempted to refinance both my purchases with my credit union for a better rate. As I had just spent 72K and had amaz

This issue is resolved. The customer has the plates already. We are sorry you had a bad experience as we strive to have great customer service. Unfortunately if you have any issues with your vehicle we would be more than happy to take a look at it as all our vehicles are inspected by an ASE...

certified mechanic.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response...

because: The vehicle was not inspected or ran through the business before it was sold. Still dirty not even a wash or vaccuming was done and was told it was just "traded in" which it was not since it has an oil change sticker from Medford Oregon and was sold sight unseen without inspection as the business stated. I know how businesses work if was bought at auction and sold within a few days before they could do and inspection and just show a "cad fax" on the vehicle. I was lied too about its condition, that it was inspected and the extra set of snow tires and wheels that were supposed to be included and were added to my loan the business kept..Sincerely,[redacted]

We have been trying to resolve this issue ever since it was brought to our attention. Mr. [redacted] will not give us the opportunity to fix the vehicle. Not to mention we already have a DEQ slip showing that the vehicle has passed. We are completely in regulation with the law. Our one and only goal is...

to make customers as happy and satisfied as possible. If Mr. [redacted] would allow us to take a look at his vehicle it would help solve this issue.

The consumer and Carz Planet have come to a mutual agreement.

The gas part is confusing me since it is not our responsibility to refund gas. We let the customer know that they had to return the vehicle because of financing purposes because of their driver license. No  one from our dealership told the customer to put gas in the vehicle. The customers did it on their own. No one was "robbed" of gas since we never told them that we would pay for their gas nor did we ever tell them to put $50 originally in the vehicle. Thank you for your time.

Good afternoon, we are quite confused by this complaint since we have a signed credit application that I have attached. I would also like to address all the points within the complaint. To first begin, Josh is not an aggressive sales person as if you ask anyone he is a very gentle person which is...

confusing to us how he could be so aggressive to fill out an application. Also we are confused why you came in for "leasing possibilities" as we are a pre-owned dealership and do not offer leasing options so that would not be something we would even mention. We have several witnesses here that heard you say that you wanted to buy our tacoma truck and that is why you filled out the credit application. As far as sending it to the banks or credit unions we specifically told you that in order to give you exact numbers as far as payment or interest rate we would have to send you to the bank to get it as accurate as possible and you agreed to that. I am sorry you feel unhappy but it is always our intention to make you as happy as possible! I hope you find the right vehicle for you. Thank you for your time!

[redacted]SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com[redacted]

As a dealership we want to sell as many cars as possible but we always want to do it the right way. The customers wanted us to do a straw purchase which is illegal and that is why we decided not to do the deal.
