The order did get cancelled and we cannot refund the cc cause it was after the allotted time that my cc machines allows it to process a refund We explained to him that he has to call and dispute and his money will be refunded to his cardThe deposit always gets processed unless they cancel with a certified letter which wasn’t done So he can dispute it and get refunded I cannot mail a check back because he can dispute it up to a year and will have double the money I don’t understand what the problem is

I purchased an offer from this company through [redacted] on March 4th The Deal was for gutter cleaning and roof inspectionIt included "inspection of shingles and flashing condition to evaluate potential issues and give an estimated life expectancy"Before appointing a time, I wrote the company (twice) to ask if they would give me a certificate of life expectancyThey never responded to my question, and before we could appoint a date for the work, on march they told me they already cleaned the gutters, and that the roof was about years old, in very bad condition and needed immediate replacement that would cost about 12000$Casanova Remodeling supposedly came to my house without an appointment and without my consent when nobody was home, and supposedly cleaned the gutters and inspected the roofI say supposedly, because I went up the roof to inspect the roof and the gutters myselfI could not see any damaged spots in the roofRegarding the gutters, we have gutter covers, so they are not really dirty, but I could see in a spot were the cover was off, there were some old leaves from the fall in the guttersAnd my roof is not even close to years old, but years old, and as stated in May by a licensed inspector who did not know the age of the roof: “This roof is estimated at approximately years of ageThe roofing material is in satisfactory condition overall”And other experienced contractors have also stated that the roof is in good condition, including the professional from [redacted] that went up to the roof to inspect itThe company said they mailed the estimate of the roof twice but I never received itI talked several times to the owner, and at some point he agreed to send someone to redo the work, but they only could do it the 11th of April (surpassing the days for the [redacted] money back guarantee)They cancelled this second visit because of the rain and when I asked about the roof inspection they told me they will only do the guttersI did not reschedule to redo the gutters because my main concern was about the roof life expectancyI called the owner of Casanova remodeling about the roofHe said there were lots of damaged shingles, and that he saw pictures of my house with remains of shingles in the gutters, and he said that was the reason for the gutters to be cloggedI replied that my gutters were not clogged, they were covered, and there were not badly damaged shinglesI argued that they might not been in my home but somewhere elseAfter that, he agreed to send the next day (April 19th) one of his employees to inspect the roofThe employee that came was not a certified roofer, and he keep telling me my roof was years old and was in bad shape and needed replacementWhen I asked him to point to me what particular spot was damaged he could not do it, and after some discussion he agreed the roof was fine and did not need replacementI asked for my money back, and he called his boss, John C [redacted] and after the call he insisted they will not give me an estimate of the remaining life of the roof and he added that no roofer would do itWhen I said the Angie's list voucher promised that, he could not give a satisfactory explanation and referred me to the owner of the company for further discussionI called the owner (April 19) but he did not answerI left a message to call me back but he never didAs Casanova Remodeling Company was not responding, I contacted another licensed roofer that provide a statement that the roof is in good condition and is good for another years, so my insurance company renewed my policyI filled a complaint through [redacted] requesting my money back since Casanova Remodeling failed to provide any of the promised services, but Casanova Remodeling said the work was done and [redacted] policy is not to fight with companies, just leave the bad reviews onlineI made a complaint through Revdex.com providing all the evidence how they lied about the roof, and how they did not do the gutter job, while Casanova did not provide any evidence of the work being done or when it was doneHowever Revdex.com did not accept the complaint as the service was purchased through [redacted] ***tBottom line: Casanova Remodeling did not do the job, they lied repeatedly and did not refund meAvoid this company

The company sent a gentleman to clean up and it was done to my satisfaction. The same company, Casanova Remodeling, just completed siding my house and garage and did an excellent job. The men were polite, communicated and worked very hard to do a great job. I am sorry the roofers were not as good. I would highly recommend this company for siding a house. [redacted]

We recently had Casanova Remodeling paint the exterior of our houseWe had several problems with themFirst, they didn't follow the contract in several aspects, including initially not using the paint and brand specified and they didn't sand/prime the entire exteriorFailing to use the paint/brand in the contract led to problems with color matching and Casanova arguing about this despite showing them shakes painted in the color they bought next to the color we picked outOther problems were the painters failing to use drop cloths despite being asked repeatedlyWe now have paint chips all throughout our garden and yard (annoying, but not a big deal) AND paint on our paver walkways which they refused to clean offAnd to top this all off, the paint job is fairly poor which many paint drips and low spots where the painters failed to sand the edges after they scrapedAlthough I will never use Casanova again, I will say that the painters tried hard, including painting our shutters and front door which was not in the contractThey just were not good painters and did not even come close to the job discussed with the sales person

We contracted with Casanova for new windows The installers came July and The windows do not fit and have been jammed in to fit, there is a broken window that was broken in the box, all widows are flashed incorrectly, leaving the house exposed to the elements, not trimmed correctly, the vinyl siding is on the ground The windows do not seem to be the correct windows and do not look like they fit The rain is pouring into the area between the windows and the siding! There is no flashing!
Multiple calls to the company today have not been returned We paid them $and now there is no plan to make this right and we need immediate assistance to make sure that we get what we paid for, which is new windows that fit right Please help us immediately, it is very urgent

as explained by Casanova, is that the manufacturer forgot to complete the order and deliver the part to CasanovaI cannot confirm this independently, but I would like to mark the complaint, first, as complete and second, as possibly due to a miscommunicationIt may have been the fault of the manufacturer, not the contractor I will also ask Casanova to respond to the complaint to ensure it is closed properly Thank you! *** ** ***

On 3/23/18, a company representative gave me a quote for gutter installation on my house Initially, I told him I would need time to think about it He responded by offering me a significant discount if I signed at that time He advised me that I would have business days to change my mind If I didn't contact them by the third business day, they would charge my card half of the quote as a deposit I decided not to proceed with the installation and called to cancel on 3/26, the very next business day I was advised that they would cancel moving forward When reviewing my credit card transactions, I noticed that they had already charged the deposit After contacting them to refund the charge to my CC, they called me back and stated they are not capable of refunding the deposit and insisted that I handle it myself by disputing it with the CC company

I just had a GREAT experience with Casanova From the first quote through clean up, they were professional They did what they said, and completed on time Couldn't be happier Bob the salesman and his crew led by Eric we couldn't recommend enough We will use them for future projects as well

1) Merchant claim they would not charge the card until the third day which was when I was able to cancel up until.2) merchant should not be charging credit cards if they are incapable of reversing the charges or returning them

The workmen showed up on time did a fabulous job cleaned up after themselves was very polite and a pleasure to do business with the gutters look great and make the house look much better

Our family was very pleased with our complete roofing project.The materials were top notch and the workers were professional and very considerate.They cleaned up after the day was done.I would highly recommend them to everyone

We had windows installed in MarchAs the first set of old windows were removedThe crew started whispering about the windowsThey measured and remeasured the opening and the new windowsMy new windows were wrongThey knew it and installed them anywayThey made them fitbest of all they left behind old shutters and nails and lots of little scraps all over my yard and drivewayNot Happy

Hi, I contacted the homeowner to reschedule the job due to rain that day. We cannot do the job when it rains. We have made several unsuccessful attempts to try to reschedule but no phone calls back. *** signed up for services one week prior and we explained that it was
weather permitting. Well it rained that week. We called him that same day and he said he wanted to cancel cause we wouldn't do it in the rain. I said can u reconsider since we already ordered all your product and he said call me tomorrow. I did call the next day and talked to his wife. She said he was taking care of it. Since thing my operations manager, myself, and my marketing manager called over tens with no callback.. Since then the customer disputed the charge on his credit card which I didn't respond to so he is gonna get his money back from the credit card company within 6-weeks. So I don't know what exactly he is looking for. If he called and wanted to cancel I would have gladly mailed a check out its a small job. But instead he is being very unreasonable with this complaint and other complaints followed. If he wont call back I don't know what to do. He disputed it so he has his money back . Thanks
