Received a solicitation to cash in a pension annuity and threw it in the trash Then received a cryptic postcard without the business name claiming a check had been returned to sender - call to reissue It took me awhile to figure out it was a come on to cash in a pension Not a business practice I would ever approve

Regards,
[redacted] [redacted]FYI  Their statement about me responding via mail and phone is totally false.  No phone contact and the only mail I sent to them was to tell them, in writing, was to tell them to remove my name from mailing and phone lists.

CBC Settlement Funding, LLC, Sincerely apologizes if this particular customer received an unawanted solicitation.. This individual responded to a mailer piece and called in. His file has been noted DNC (Do Not Call) and DNM (Do Not Market). Our standard practice is to notate customer files in this...

manner the moment the customer expresses their desire to not be called or marketed to. We are in the business to help individuals NEVER to harass, intimidate or confuse them. It is disheartening to learn that even one (1) person has felt this way. Thank you

This individual responded to a mailer piece on August 26th and called in. Nonetheless we have added this individual to our DO NOT CONTACT list and we will avoid future communication. Thank you.

John G[redacted] <[redacted]@cbcsettlementfunding.com>2:40 PM (15 minutes ago)to me [redacted],It was nice speaking to you today.  Below is an email from [redacted] stating that she had called the Revdex.com to remove the complaint.  Our response is in bold.  Customer was fully...

funded.   Below is an email from the annuitant where she claimed she would remove the post.    Please let us know If you need anything further. Thank you, John G[redacted]

I am rejecting their response because they are not telling the truth. Please see the attached e-mail correspondence held with the agent with which I worked with from CBC Settlement Funding. Please note each time we had a telephone conversation I followed up with an e-mail confirming the discussion and what I was to get. Each time I was told all was good to go until the very end when they told me they would not buy the last 12 months and they had never heard of a signing bonus.
They waited too long to ask for the cancellation of this contract as I am responsible to the other personnel receiving distributions from the trust. I could not continue to delay their payments. Now, however, I am stuck with the last 12 months of an annuity which lasts until November 2018 and I got no signing bonus as they agreed to in their own email. Now, since I have pretty much proved they lied to me I would like them to honor their commitment to buy the last 12 months at $500.96 per month, plus the signing bonus.

My annuity was part of the ELNY debacle and my funds where cut by 53%
Ever since this went public, this company ends me letters at least once a month and often makes calls asking if I'm in interested in selling what is left for pennies on the dollar.
I have called them several times, asking them not to call or send me junk mail all the time. And to be removed from their mailing list. Well I'm still getting their calls and letters every month rain or shine.
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone at any time.

I received a mailing in the mail to buy out part of an annuity I have. They named the current holder .They received my name through open records. I contacted them telling them that I thought there mailing was bogus and I was hung up on , I called back and was rudely spoken too telling me that I can in fact do what was mentioned in the mailing, I informed them that I wanted to be taken off their mailing list. I contacted the current holder and made them ware of this issue. I am concerned about the legality of this company to pry on others who may receive the mailing and not understand in the state.??? Not all Annuities can be bought or partially be bought.

We normally pay notaries after each file is funded.  Because the file never progressed towards the funded stage, [redacted] informed [redacted] to submit the notary invoices and they would get paid.  [redacted] submitted the invoices and our Accounting department promptly paid...

**. [redacted] within two few business days of receiving the invoice.
Attached is a copy of our check to [redacted].
[redacted] spoke to [redacted] again today (May 19th) and he is happy, he received the check and will be retracting his complaint.

Respectfully,
