To Whom it May Concern:This email is in response to complaint number [redacted] [redacted] is a used car lot We have a company policy that we do not hold any vehicle for any customer until that customer is on their way to the lot to look at it Bill H [redacted] wife called and asked about a Toyota Tundra that we had for sale I explained to her some issues that the truck had and she said she had to speak with her husband about it She called back after she spoke with him and told me that they were interested and would like us to send a purchase order to them so they could attempt to get financing At no point did I tell them that we would hold the vehicle while they were looking for acceptable financing per our company policy While they were trying to obtain financing another customer came to the lot and purchased the tundra The next day their banker called and asked for a corrected purchase order as the one we sent had the wrong price on it We informed the banker that the truck had already been sold A few minutes later Bill H [redacted] called and was cursing telling us how stupid we are Again, it has always been and will always be ***'s policy to not hold any vehicle until the customer is on their way to look at it We would've gladly held the Tundra for the H [redacted] if they were on their way to look at it I hate that they are upset and missed out on the truck Thank youPaul S [redacted] ***

This is a response to a complaint submitted by [redacted] [redacted] was interested in a vehicle that we had for sale At the time of her initial inquiry the vehicle was at the mechanics shop getting some routine maintenance performed We told her that we would call her when the vehicle returned from the shop In the mean time, another customer inquired about the same vehicle and took it upon themselves to go to the shop to inspect it They decided that they wanted to purchase the vehicle We took their information and obtained financing for them so at this point we considered the vehicle sold Keep in mind this all happened before the vehicle returned from the shop [redacted] called the following week and was upset that we already sold the vehicle without first giving her a shotOur sales manager explained to her that we could still send her a bill of sale if she would like to work on obtaining her own financing for a back up deal in the event that the current buyers were not able to follow through with the contract She looked into financing and due to communication errors between myself and my sales manager she was led to believe that she could purchase the vehicle if she did indeed obtain financing After the errors were discovered our sales manager promptly called her to let her know that the original buyer was going to complete the saleI take full responsibility for the communication issues will definitely keep this in mind for future deals[redacted]

To Whom it May Concern:This is a response to complaint ID *** issued by *** *** *** Purchased a Chevrolet 2500HD Due to some less than perfect records on ***s Credit Report, his only option for financing was through a sub prime lender Most sub prime lenders
charge a substantial fee to take a chance on customers with poor credit which increases the amount of the loan Also the 23.99% interest rate that those lenders charge increase the overall cost of the vehicle over the life of the loan*** questioned us about those things initially as he didn't understand We explained the situation the best we could but never did anyone refer to him as a "bottom feeder" He accepted our explanation of the contract and signed his paperwork and took delivery of the truck That is the last time that I personally heard from *** The only other correspondence that I received from anyone regarding this deal was a text from someone claiming to be ***'s son talking about issues with the truck I replied to the text, which clearly had my personal phone number on it, and politely stated that legally I was not permitted to discuss ***'s deal with him and if *** was having problems to have *** himself call me I have not heard from *** Since then We sell a lot of Used vehicles so obviously were going to have problems with some of them We always try to help customers the best we can when issues arise but it's impossible for us to help if the customers do not let us know they're having issues I hope this helps Thank you.Paul S*CBI###-###-####

vehicle returned from the shop.  In the mean time, another customer inquired about the same vehicle and took it upon themselves to go to the shop to inspect it.  They decided that they wanted to purchase the vehicle.  We took their information and obtained financing for them so at this point we considered the vehicle sold.  Keep in mind this all happened before the vehicle returned from the shop. [redacted] called the following week and was upset that we already sold the vehicle without first giving her a shot. Our sales manager explained to her that we could still send her a bill of sale if she would like to work on obtaining her own financing for a back up deal in the event that the current buyers were not able to follow through with the contract.  She looked into financing and due to communication errors between myself and my sales manager she was led to believe that she could purchase the vehicle if she did indeed obtain financing.  After the errors were discovered our sales manager promptly called her to let her know that the original buyer was going to complete the sale. I take full responsibility for the communication issues will definitely keep this in mind for future deals.[redacted]

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
Bill H[redacted] That is fine. I will never shop there again nor will I ever recommend anyone to buy from there. Its a poor way to run a business. I can tell by their reviews that they do a lot of people that way and sale junk. So Im glad I didn't buy from there after reading reviews. You would think if someone would go out of their way to have them send a purchase order that they had intentions of purchasing it. It was only an hour before we got to the bank that we received emails stating that the vehicle was still for sale. All we had to do was pick up the check if they could've had better communication skills there to fill out the purchase order correctly. Every real car lot I have been to will not sale a vehicle out from under you if they knew you was trying to get the money. Its called putting it on hold and politely letting other customers know they have a gentleman trying to get the money for it. And if that person cannot they will contact the other customers to offer it to whom ever was next. So their policy is beyond words for how they run their business. And they need to brush up on their customer service as well, they are very rude. If being called stupid is all that was said they should consider themselves being lucky. So that's all Ive got to say, POOR BUSINESS.
