We have received and investigated the complaint forwarded to our office and have the following information for your review. Our client, American Electric Power Services, listed an account with us on 9/03/2015 for 167.20...

We contacted our client to report that Mr. [redacted] believed this account to be fraud. They responded stating that in a letter they received from Mr. [redacted] on 9/30/2015 he stated that at the time of the alleged fraud he was living at [redacted] Columbus Ohio, which is the same address the bill was accrued. Bills have been mailed to 34 Kirkland St Delaware Ohio since 11/14/2013. Mr. [redacted] received bills and was paying them. The service has been in his name since 08/11/2006 and he closed the account on 7/27/2015.
We have treated the complaint to your office as a cease and desist and will have no further contact with Mr. [redacted] but our client feels this is not a case of fraud.

If the check there emails from me, I had closed this account way back. My ex roommate [redacted] was living there from 2013 to 2015. I'm not responsible for this as I have proof I closed out the account back in 2013.
