The Store clerk at the Cape Cod Mall sold old, used, damaged & overpriced merchandise to my 16yr son yesterday, and would not honor a return within minutes of the purchase.THe clerk stated there were no returns allowed, only exchanges. However tHe clerk never explained the return policy prior to purchase. He also never offered a receipt, Nor did he have the decency to post the stores return policy anywhere in the establishment for customers to view in order to make a clear informed decision to do business.The clerk was rude, argumentative and threatened to contact security and have me dragged out and banned from the mall for a year for complaining about my service. He also refused to give me his name when I asked him repeatedly. Instead he repeatedly screamed at me to leave his booth area. He refused to speak to me and instead said he would rather speak to my 16yr son which leads me to believe he is sexist.He called mall security in hopes to have me escorted out of the store, which they did not because security saw no wrong doing on my part. In fact, security asked the clerk to honor the return so my son and I could leave. The clerk refused the securities request. Subsequently the security had to contact the mall manager who came to the establishment accompanied by a police officer and they all clearly saw the damaged merchandise and could attest there was no policy marked anywhere in the establishment.The clerk continued to yell and tell me he would not speak me only my son, the management told the clerk to stop addressing me the way he was and reiterated to the clerk that I am a customer and to be treated with respect.The clerk also would Not honor the exchange without charging additional money.The three of them urged me to file a report with the establishments owner, as well as a small claim with triple damages under Mass General Laws Chapter 93A, Sect2 Unfair and deceptive consumer trade practices.I have never in my life felt so embarrassed, disrespected and disgusted in all my life. I feel I've been robbed and that my child had been taken advantage of. His behavior was completely unacceptable.I'll plan to file action in court first thing tomorrow
