. This customer was refunded the deposit on 7-**-16. The customer's claim that he was given the runaround is not true. As per his own statement he requested a refund on 7-**-16 and we processed it the next day. If you have any questions feel free to contact me by email at [redacted] Jim I[redacted]

This customer did order the truck with a $500 deposit. He  was actually referred by someone and also claims had been in the car business himself previously. We normally do not order or stock thistype of vehicle and this was a courtesy. The customer is not being truthful when he says he...

immediately tried to cancel. He ordered the truck on 1-*-17 and texted the sales person on 1-**-17 to cancel. Wehave the texts to show that. By the time he wanted to cancel the truck was already in build status and couldn't be cancelled. We are now sitting with a [redacted] truck in our inventory that we have no idea when we will sell it. We have already incurred more than $500 in interest and shipping for this unit. The customer is also not being truthful when he claims that no manager has called him. Our generalmanager Jim I[redacted] called him on Saturday  2-** to discuss and the customer used profanity and threatened to come to the dealership to get his deposit. It is not our normal policy to keep deposits but in this extreme circumstance we feel we are justified.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

To whom, may concern,The truthful response to this aligation, is that the vendor is covering up themselves. I attempted to call the dealership multiple times just days after we made an order for that vehicle. I called over and over again getting the same poor response from the receptionist. The response, was "[redacted]." I Also requested to speak to any manager, but nobody was ever available. Finally, days later, when I had no choice, I called the sales person on his personal cell phone. I am sure they're records of  me calling The dealership. I would like to know why this was not stated. The only reason the general manager decided to call me back over a month later, is because I called the dealership 3 times the same day. Also, the only reason I canceled my order, is because my supervisor has the same truck 2016 Dodge Ram Turbo diesel. The vehicle is a 2016 and has been in and out of the mechanics garage multiple times in the course of Less than a year. These problems were not regular service. They were check engine lights and problems with the DEF fluid system.  At at the end of the day, it's just a vehicle. Someone, somewhere will purchase it. I did purchase a vehicle of similar class and price, but not a Chrysler Jeep or dodge. I will never do business with them or any affiliate after this ordeal. I never purchased  a vehicle, I put a deposit on one to come in. Essentially I was buying air.  Nobody ever said to me that this was nonrefundable. How does a dealership operate business while keeping people's money? This is not right.I was also in the car business myself, for four years. Customers canceled deals to buy cars on a monthly basis. It's a factor of doing business. However, none of th stores I worked for EVER kept a deposit from somebody. This is poor business practice. My deposit should be refunded, because I never took this vehicle from their possession. Plain and simple.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Classic case of why dealerships get bad reputations. Who in their right mind would want to do business with any type of organization that says "[redacted] " I have my phone records to prove that I called the dealership as many times as I did. Within short time of placing the order. The only responses I ever received from calling and speaking to a receptionist is "[redacted]" or "[redacted]." It's very disturbing that the only way you get someone to talk to is by calling their personal cell phone. This is a very low and classless act to  spite me (the customer). Refund my deposit. I never heard of a dealership keeping a deposit before, without someone getting a vehicle in return. I will make sure that I talk everyone I know out of buying a Chrysler Jeep dodge or ram from this store for the fact of how they are trying to rob me. Why not just move on already and process a refund. I work hard for my money, that's why I'm not giving up. Keep your truck, I bought a better one already. Refund my money.

Review: I purchased a car from the dealership on Novermber [redacted] and by November [redacted] the car began to give me problems and would actually not even move. I bought the car back to the dealership on November [redacted] and the manager Andrew told me that they could not check the car as there was no one there to do it.He told me thar in the morning the car would be checked on. On November [redacted] I spoke with Andrew again and he claimed that the car was just had no transmission fluid and they were going to fix it. He then told me my car would be ready on November [redacted]. I went to the dealership on November [redacted] and again Andrew told me to pick my car up on December [redacted] as they were going to "shine the car up for me and that person was only available on Wednesdays. He assured me that my car would be ready on Wednesday, December [redacted]. On December [redacted] Andrew called me again and stated that that the car was test driven and it was actually the transmission that failed and I would need a brand new one. He again said the car would be ready in a week. I called again this week Wednesday December [redacted] and they stated they were not done with the car they were putting final touches on the car it would be ready today Thursday, December [redacted]. Today December [redacted] I went to the car dealership and they told me that the person that was dealing with my car went home for the day. I have been without the car I purchased for 2 weeks and have not gotten anywhere.Desired Settlement: I would like them to keep the car and refund me my $5,000 back that I put down plus the money owed to the bank for the loan I had to to take out on the car.

Review: A Chrysler 2013 Town&country in black New. In the winter season I was proceeding to take my car to the parking lot and it had got stuck in a ice pot hole in December 2013. While in the process we called our insurance [redacted] and they sent out a tow truck to get it out and they couldn't. They then towed it to [redacted] and they said that the Transmission had got messed up due to all the times pressing the gas petal to move out of the ice hole . [redacted] said they were not responsible to put a new transmission that it would have to come out of [redacted]. The total amount for the "Labor and Parts" as said in a receipt that it was $4,245.10 [redacted] Payed $3,656.83 and the customer which was me had to put in $943.80 and that [redacted] would put a brand NEW Transmission. When we recently took it to another Dealer of Chrysler due to having a situation with the car; The New Chrysler dealer then reported to me that the Transmission that was put in WAS NOT a Chrysler Transmission and that it WAS NOT NEW because it wasn't found in the System at all. So they said that it didn't have a Serial # and it was Painted. The Adviser from there then said that it wasn't the Transmission for the car and that it was FRAUD that they committed. I then called and Spoke to a a representative from Chrysler named [redacted] had called [redacted] to Verify the situation and was told that the Transmission was put in new. [redacted] called the New Dealer which had told us the what was going on with the Transmission and left a voice mail to the Adviser called [redacted] then spoke to another representative and they said that they were going to change what needed to be changed. This wasn't the case the matter was me being told and paying for a New Transmission that wasn't. I would greatly Appreciate it if this matter could be looked in to for the safety of me and my family.Desired Settlement: of the Car of a brand new 2013 or 2014 paying the same monthly payments with no additional charges and to be compensated for the additional services and parts brought due to incorrect information received.

Review: I was denied warranty coverage on the Window Lift Plate due to one weekend. The 7 year warranty expired on 9/**/14 and my service appointment was on 9/**/14. The window broke during the warranty period, but there was no way to bring the vehicle in on Friday. I've also repaired more than one window. Since this problem is well known and there is a recall on it the warranty should be honored.Desired Settlement: I was charged $266.54 for this repair and would like this reimbursed.

Review: Dropped my car off 2 weeks ago for an oil change and inspection renewal. What should have been a half day work minimum, ended being a 2 week ordeal. First they damage my fender while I'm at work, so I couldn't go see what actually happened. I just let them keep the car for what they said would be a couple of days turned into weeks. Then when I go pick up the car the second time I noticed that now there's a huge dent on the back drivers side door. [redacted], who's supposedly the [redacted] said it was like that and that they are going to check the cameras to see what happened. I told him I wasn't leaving his property unless this issue is resolved or I get something that guarantees this will get fixes.

While he's back there "checking" his cameras, I inspect the car better and notice that there are now multiple fresh scratches on my car. Which was just repainted through insurance because it was vandalized outside my home. He comes out again and tries to whip it off saying that they're just compound (whatever that is). He goes back inside. Tells me that since his valet company didn't take any pictures the day I dropped off my car, that they will pay it. The valet company would pay, not him. I leave my car again for another 2 days on top of it once being there for 2 weeks. I call later that day to confirm what work is being done, service employee [redacted] tells me that they are only fixing the door and everything else was my fault. I ask him if there is anyone higher up then [redacted] that I can speak to. That's when I find out that [redacted] is one of the [redacted]s and there is nobody else to talk to.

My car was completely repainted in mid December 2014. I dropped off my car to them around the second week of January 2015. I recorded about 6 on more scratches and dents on the car.

I dropped off a car besides the vandalism, has never been in a accident, bumped or had any major work done on it. I pick up the car with a new fender and a new door on it. The cars value has dropped down significantly because of this shop.Desired Settlement: I don't want anything crazy. Just buff out all the scratches and nicks that were put on this car under your supervision. If a certain spot needs a little repainting, do it. But, the outcome I really desire is that the car be returned to me exactly as I dropped it off to them. Originally fender, original door, and the original paint that I had put on.

Review: In March of 2013, I purchased a Brand New 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from [redacted] Jeep Dealer. Since this purchase the radio has been replaced three time for numerous issues. My last radio replacement, the worker added more damage to the radio compartment, leaving the dealership to replace additional parts on the radio console.Additionally, with my numerous back and forth to the dealer, I noticed that I am not being treated as a valued costumer with valid vehicle issues. I have tried to have the vehicle bought back under the buy back program; however, the [redacted]) does not believe that my vehicle has any issues. I am frustrated as I am afraid that I will get stuck with this vehicle with all of its problems.Desired Settlement: Under the lemon law and the buy back program, this vehicle qualifies for a buy back. I have three radio replacements within less than a year.

As per my first complaint, I was denied a buy back from the dealer ([redacted] Dodge Ram) not by the State of NY. There appears to be some confusion; let me clarify. I believe this problem/issue qualifies a buy back under the NY state lemon law. Additionally, there are intermittent problems that still occur with the vehicle. Currently, I am seeking arbitration through a company that was provided by Jeep (the manufacturer). I will also extend the arbitration process through NY State Attorney General's office. Let me add that I love my jeep; However, this process has been very difficult and dealing with [redacted] Dodge RAM'S staff has not made this experience any better.
