Review: I contacted Century negotiations to assist with debt settlement. They promised to contact debt companies and help to resolve debt. They charged $250 per month. I was on service for 4 months. They never contacted any debtors. Stating they were waiting for balance to increase. When I ended program, they did refund money however I am now 4 months behind and have added late fees and over the limit fees. These could have been avoided if they contacted debtors as they suggested they wouldDesired Settlement: To cover cost of extra charges $35 per month for 6 credit cards for 4 months

Up to this point we have not been able to connect with Ms. [redacted] to discuss her complaint filed with the Revdex.com. It is our desire to further explore any concerns that she may have in regards to how her accounts were handled while enrolled with Century Support Services. In the original complaint, Ms. [redacted] expressed concerns over her creditors being contacted and our progress in resolving her debts. Due to the nature of debt settlement it is necessary for accounts to be delinquent prior to securing a settlement on any individual account. Most creditors do not entertain discussions of settling an account until the account is past due by a number of months. Our years of experience in the industry have given us the knowledge to know the prime point in delinquency to seek a settlement. Unfortunately, Ms. [redacted] canceled from the program before we were able to prove the value in our services. Century Support Services does not charge any monthly fees, settlement fees are earned when each individual debt is settled. It is stated in the contract that interest and late fees may continue to accrue while enrolled in a debt settlement program. As such we would not be able to cover the fees that were assessed by Ms. [redacted]’s individual creditors. Review: Started with this company back in February 2015, I have paid a little over $1,500 for them to settle my debt. Today I found out about $1,310 went into this company's pockets! Less then $200 went to my actual debt, that's about 86% straight to them! The gentleman who signed me up told me after each debt was paid that's when the settlement company would get paid, and the process would continue that way. I pay a Creditor off, then I pay the settlement company, I pay a other creditor off, then I pay the company. I will mislead, I fell robbed! $1300 down the drain, I could have already paid off a few of my creditors with that total, but they said they can lower what I owed. They did that l, but charged me 20% of the original debt, when the discount they negotiated was around 20%! Right now I still don't know what I paid for! Then today when I tried to cancel they told me I still owe them $900 and wanted to set me up on monthly payments! I told her I was on the Revdex.com website and that the company has a c- and that all the complaints are the same as mine, she didn't care! Only after I asked to speak to a supervisor did the supervisor till me the previous Lady was wrong and that she didn't know what she was doing and that I only owed about $39 to them!!!!

Review: I previously had an account with CNI regarding outstanding debt they were working with me to make settlements on and resolve. An account they were helping me to resolve was with [redacted] CB for a balance of $1,934.39, which they had worked with the creditor to get settled for an amount of $870.48 to be paid over the course of 6 months from January of 2015-June of 2015 for $145.08 per month. In August of 2015 I had cancelled my account with CNI as I am in a financial hardship right now and could no longer afford the monthly payment plan with CNI of $200 per month. In September I was reviewing my credit report and noticed that the account from [redacted] was still listed on there, and did not indicate that it was settled for less than the full amount, it showed that I still owed the full amount. This prompted me to log into my CNI account to review the status, and log into my Global Solutions account to check the payment transactions. Global Solutions is the company that CNI uses to handle the payments. It was then that I noticed that the 6th payment in June was never made, and as such making my settlement arrangement void with [redacted]. I contacted CNI to discuss via email and was told that I needed to call in to discuss anything regarding my account. I called on 10/20/15 (they should have record of this as they record all phone calls) and was told that they didn't even know that the June payment wasn't processed until I had inquired. They even went as far to tell me they audited my account when I closed it, but missed the missing payment to [redacted], but they still took my $200 a month that was supposed to go towards it. The representative I spoke with did not seem to know much about my account because every time I asked a question she would put me on hold for several minutes then come back with an answer, and she did not seem to appreciate me questioning everything she said. She told me I should have received a $400 check. I said I didn't, after putting me on hold she came back to say, you're right, you didn't receive it, we credited it back towards the fees you owe us for working on your settlements. I said ok, then are you going to take some of that money back then and make the last payment with [redacted] to settle the account, since that is what should have happened to begin with. She told me no. That if I wanted to settle the account, I would need to get on a phone call with them, and [redacted] and make a new payment of $145.08 to settle. They did not want to help me out at all, when they clearly did not honor the arrangement that they had made on my behalf. I paid the money I needed to per month to make the payments, and they did not follow through with it, now they tell me that I have to pay more to resolve it. They also wanted me to pay the settlement fees for a separate account that they are telling me I owed because I cancelled my account. I told them that I would need to seek advice from outside individuals before I make any arrangements to pay them since they have made a mess of my [redacted] account. I was working to resolve debt and fix my credit score, and CNI has done nothing to help me with this. They have made a bad situation worse. I would like CNI to resolve the issue with [redacted] and get the account paid for the last payment to satisfy the arrangement that they had originally made before I will make arrangements to make anymore payments to their company for any fees I might owe.Desired Settlement: I would like CNI to resolve the issue with [redacted] and get the account paid for the last payment to satisfy the arrangement that they had originally made before I will make arrangements to make anymore payments to their company.

Review: Failure to disclose all money sent would be used for one creditor when was advised would attempt settlement with all creditors.

I entered into an agreement with company to settle (or attempt) settlement with my creditors. They gave me an amount to send each month which I did. A few months later they sent me a message saying they had a settlement with one creditor, but I would have to increase my monthly amount by about $200.00. I want to settle my debts so agreed. Little did I know they were going to give all monies to this one creditor leaving all other creditors unanswered. When I finally contacted them they told me they were giving all my money each month to this one creditor and if I wanted to have them negotiate with other creditors I would need to send more money. They did not act in good faith they just wanted to settle with one creditor to get their fee. When they contacted me they didn't tell me all the money would be given to this one creditor. They never contacted me again until I phoned them. It is not fair to my other creditors and they did not act in my best behalf. I did withdraw and the person told me they would bill me for additional fees which I received a letter with a total of more than $3,000. I did try to contact the company to ask them based on the foregoing to not charge me fees and never got a response back. I feel this is unfair and deceptive practices on behalf of the company. They should have kept me in the loop as to the progress and certainly when I agreed to settle the first debt let me know all my money would go to the one debtor and they would not work on any other debtors. Asking for more money now would put me in a worse situation.Desired Settlement: Due to the unfair and deceptive practice I want my fees paid to them refunded and any monies they claim I owe foregone.

Up to this point, we have not been able to connect with Mr. [redacted] to discuss his complaint filed with the Revdex.com. It is our desire to further explore any concerns that he may have in regards to how his accounts were handled while enrolled with Century Support Services. In the original complaint, Mr. [redacted] expressed concerns with the fact that all available monthly funds were being applied to one creditor rather than all enrolled creditors. Due to the nature of debt settlement it is typical for only one account to be placed into a settlement at a time. Unlike credit counseling we are seeking a reduction in the repayment amount rather than making payments towards balance in full. When Mr. [redacted] was asked to increase his monthly deposit amount it was for the specific purpose of placing him into a settlement for his largest debt enrolled in the program. He provided a recorded authorization for us to make those specific payments to that particular creditor. As for the outstanding fees owed, Mr. [redacted] was advised at the time of cancellation that he owed fees for the settlement that CSS negotiated on his behalf. A letter informing him of the amount owed was mailed as well. Past that we did not nor do we intend to pursue collection of any remaining fees owed. We regret that Mr. [redacted] did not feel well informed during the process of entering into his first settlement with Century Support Services. We strive to provide excellent customer service and will continue to look for ways to improve our communication with each and every one of our clients.
