Review: The company came to my house to unclog a pipe. The next day I had the same problem so I called the company to come back. They said they would be here within the hour. 2 hours later I called back and the woman who answered the phone said they are on the way and hung up on me.

The person came to the house and during the repair stepped on the bushes and flowers in my garden, broke my bonsai bush, and splattered sewage all over the front of my house. When I tried to fix my flowers, he accused me of touching his equipment and started cursing at me, and physically stepped towards me in a threatening manner. He packed up his stuff and left without completing the job.Desired Settlement: I would like a replacement bonsai bush and a full refund.

Review: Cesspools R Us charged us a fee of $500.00 to clean out our cesspool. We have a written receipt from there employee [redacted]. The receipt has a one year warrenty written on it. We have contacted the copany once a week since there first visit on March **,2015 Everyone sent out can't help and they are sending [redacted] who never shows up. Now we are told this employee no longer works for the company and whatever receipt he gave us in null and void. Meanwhile I can't do laundry can't take showers and the whole downstairs in my house is flooded!!!

They took my money and did absolutly nothing!!Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded so I can go to a reputable cesspool company that stands behind there employees decesions and warrenty!!!! They stole my $500.00

Review: This is the first home I have owned that is not connected to city sewer. My wife and I starting smelling an unpleasant odor when we ran loads of laundry, to the point that we were starting to become concerned. I noticed in the weekly PennySaver that there was this company that advertised heavily. They promoted an inexpensive option (for expert help and advise) on everything sewage related. I decided to call, and the company offered to send someone over right away to try and help problem-solve. I was excited to have a professional's eye on the issue. The fella they sent was unassuming at first, but stated he had been in the business for almost 30 years. He drove an unmarked maroon van (which should have been my first clue). He prodded my backyard, found the cess pool, and told me that in order to help solve the issue he would suggest opening it up. Sounded ok to me. Little did I know, that he dug up a 3 foot radius of my sod, and created a softball-size opening into my cess pool. It is at this point that I became concerned. Having small children, I now see an even bigger and pressing issue--that of safety. In short, the man conned me into having to commit to him--and robbed my family in the process. I could write an even greater set of details about said experience, but in short--the man did not honor his competitor's coupons, was rude, did not aerate nor did he pump. He took advantage of a family that was (what appeared to be) in dire straights. We leaned on his knowledge and he got as much money from us as he could--by only pouring a toxic chemical into the ground. I have called back repeatedly (everyday this week) and a woman (with a bed-side manner worse than his) has done nothing for me. The last time I called, she simply put me on hold. I am so disgusted with this company, I have no idea how they stay in business--other than to steal from unsuspecting customers. And the smell? It's back. Problem? Unsolved. The only advice they gave me was to pour baking soda down the drain...that worked for a week. These guys "stink"--and need to be held accountable.Desired Settlement: A refund, minus the expense for the chemicals.

Review: They claim that they did a high powered hydro jet to my cesspool on 1-*-16 which I pay $400 for the services. As per Micheal T from Cesspools R U.S. its should last for 5 years. On February **,2016 I am having the same issue with my cesspool. They are telling me that my cesspool is full again and that they have to charge me again to fix the issue. I am not sure how this high powered hydro jet work, but one thing that I know it does not need to be done every month.Desired Settlement: I need them to give me a refund. I have find another company to fix the issue.

Review: We saw the ad in the [redacted] and called the company. They offered us free cesspool location and chemical. All we had to do is pay for a cesspool pumping which depended upon how much they pumped out, which will be discounted with the [redacted] coupon. The guy said at most it would be 7-800 dollars if they had tons of waste pumped, but should be "much less than that." He said that if they didnt have to pump the waste at all, it would only be a few hundred dollars. When we got the receipt turns out they never pumped the waste, but rather aerated it instead, which is not what I paid for. After researching online, the average price for an aeration is 450-475 and that is with the chemical, which I was supposedly getting free. I called them up and asked them for a broken down receipt by charge and Mike started yelling at me saying that the XXX do I care what I was charged if they took care of the problem. I told him that I dont like the risks of aeration, which is why I chose to have the cesspool pumped and that the service he performed was not what was quoted. Rather, they did a service in my home behind my back. He then starting calling me sexist names and using profane languages. Then they refused my calls all together. Bottom like... I asked him to perform a service that I was tricked into paying double the amount for services that he had no permission to perform.Desired Settlement: I want AT LEAST 400 dollars refunded. I feel that is being overly generous

Review: Cesspools R Us came to my house on 7/**/14 to clean my cesspool. The tech came in a van. When the work was complete, the service tech said I should be good for 1-3 years. When I called them one week later and complained about the smell in my yard the same service tech came back and told me everything was okay and to throw baking soda down each toilet in the house (which we did). On 8/**/14 we again noticed the smell and chose to call a different cesspool company ([redacted] Cesspool Service). This company came with a truck and proceeded to tell me and show me that my cesspool was full again. I was charged $525 from Cesspools R Us. [redacted] removed 1000 gallons which had not been removed by the original company.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded since they didn't do the job I paid for. I would also like other consumers to be aware of their unsatisfactory service and price misrepresentation in their ads.

Review: I HAD MY CESSPOOL CLEANED ON MARCH ** 2013. THREE MONTHS LATER THE BATHTUB AND TOILET WERE MAKING THE SAME NOISE BEFORE I HAD THE CESSPOOL DONE. I HAVE CALLED THEM SEVERAL TIMES . THEY SENT SEVERAL SERVICEMEN., BUT THEY FEEL THAT I SHOULD PAY AGAIN TO HAVE THE CESSPOOL PUMPED. IN MARCH THEY USED THIS HIGH POWER HYDRO-JET AND CHEMICALS BUT APPRENTLY THIS DID NOT WORK. I HAVE CALLED THEM IN JUNE, JULY AND KNOW IN AUGUST. THEY STILL FEEL THAT I SHOULD PAY TO HAVE IT PUMP . THE WATER COMES UP THECAP IN THE FRONT LAWN.THIS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THIS. EVERY TIME I HAVE HAD TO CLEAN OUT MY CESSPOOL IT WILL LAST AT LEAST FIVE TO SIX YEARS,BECAUSE THEY WOULD PUMP IT OUT NOT USE THIS HYDRO- JEDesired Settlement: THAT THEY PUMP OUT THE CESSPOOL AT THEIR EXPENSE. Review: On 2/*/13 I contacted them and had them airrate the cesspool and add chemicals when our cesspool began to overflow. This procedure was done pursuant to their recommendation and I was charged $462.00. Other companies had charged significantly less on prior occasions for the same service, including removal of waste.They gave a verbal guarrantee that this would last at least a year. On 7/**/13 I contacted them again to inform them that the cesspool was full again. They informed me that they would send a serviceman to check out he cesspool. On 7/**/13 after no one arrived at my home we placed several calls to their office. I was informed by them that the cesspool could have filled up due to all the rain we had received. When I informed him that we were in the middle of a major drout and he change his excuse and said that douts can have the same affect on cesspools. When I pointed out that his excuses were dubious and ilogical, he hung up the phone on me. After placing several more calls a servicman arrived at my home and explained that the filling up of the cesspool had been caused by Hurricane Sandy. What he forgot was that I had them service the cesspool a couple of months after Hurricane Sandy on 2/*/13. After being confronted with that fact he yelled you pay for me to service it again or I go home. I reminded him that it was still under their guarrantee and he said he would not honor it.Desired Settlement: I would like them to abide by their guarrantee and fix the issue with no charge or refund me my money. Iwould also like to ensure that they are properly licensed and adhering to state guidelines if any. They are extremly rude and are dishonest.

Review: on May 05/**//2014 I called cesspool r us and requested service for my cesspool located at my residence. A serviceman was dispatched to my location. The serviceman proceeded to service the cesspool and upon completion the serviceman, after overcharging me by about $200.00 stated that I would not require servicing for the cesspool for about 5 years. Less the a year after servicing the cesspool was full to capacity once again. I called the company to inform them of the situation. The company refused to take any kind of corrective measure. The company did dispatch the original serviceman 04/**/2015. Upon arrival and assessing the the situation the serviceman refused to correct the situation and refused to make a partial refund. The serviceman stated that he could not do anything for me except apply a discount f on the installation of a new cesspool. The discount was for overcharging me for the previous service.Desired Settlement: Partial refund, $200.00

Review: Had Cesspools R us of [redacted] ###-###-#### service or cesspool on 8/**/14.

After an hour of trying to find the overflow the servicemen was unsuccessful even after I told him where it was located, then he said that all that he needs to do is pump the septic and ill be fine.

A different company showed up to pump the septic, apparently Cesspools R us don't even own a Pump truck.

Needless to say less then a month later I had the same problem.

I called another company, They found the overflow in 5 minutes and did the right job.

When I called Cesspools R US to tell them the issue the lady hung up on me twice and offered no solution to the problem.

I know now the Septic always looks full,its designed to hold the solids and fill up with water then overflow into the overflow, so if the water backs up that means the overflow is full and is not draining properly, simply pumping the septic will only buy you enough time until it fills up with water again, which I fond to be about a month.

I basically flushed $400 down the toilet.Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: I called to have a free estimate of my cesspool overflowing on 7/**/14. The guy said it needed to be done and can do it right then for $250.00. I told him I did not have the cash and told me I could write a check. I said ok but could they cash it on Friday 7/**/14. I was told yes. Then on 7/**/14 the guy was at my house at 7pm stating the check bounced and wanted the cash now. I told him I did not receive any notice from my bank or the company stating that and I would have to check into it and I will call the company tomorrow after I speak to my bank. He left then received a call from the a lady from the business yelling at me telling me she wanted the cash. I told her I already explained to your driver I need to check with my bank. She continue yelling at me. I advised her I never heard anything from your company til a few minutes ago. I called her back the next day and said I will have the money the next day. She was very nasty and rude saying I will have someone there today to pick it up. I told her I was not sure what time I will be home and she said then I will have him there at 8-9pm. I told her I do not want anyone coming to my house that late. I called the next day saying I am home which was about 5pm but leaving in 530 and please have them there by then. No one was there by 530 so I called back and spoke to the rude nasty lady saying I am leaving can we do it tomorrow. The same thing happened the next day so I said I will get a money order and mail it. She said fine and gave me the address to mail it to. I mailed it on Friday 8/*/14 after work. Today 8/*/14 she talked yelling again that she did not receive it and cancel the money order and someone will be at my house today. Told her I do not have the cash and the money order was mailed. she keep yelling and being rude. She would not even let me talk. I told her fine I will cancel the money order if she would like but then she would have to wait til I get the money back from the money order. She said no but it better be in her office tomorrow or someone is coming to my house. She is very threatening and I live alone with my children and my elderly mother.Desired Settlement: I want her to stop contacting me and a letter with an apology for her actions.

Review: I CALLED THE COMPANY TO COME AND PUMP MY CESSPOOL (DUE TO THE CESSPOOL BACKING UP)AND HE CHARGED ME $650.00, PAID IN CASH. I KEPT ASKING IF THE HAVE A BIG TRUCK (WHICH I QUESTIONED A FEW TIMES) AND I WAS TOLD THE MACHINE HE HAD WHICH WAS SMALL PUT THE WASTE INTO OUR GROUND.(THE PRICE SEEMED TO BE AT OF CONTROL BUT THE GUY DID THE JOB ALREADY) MY HUSBAND CALLED OTHER COMPANY'S THAT NIGHT AND THEY ALL SAID HE IS A CROOK AND THEY TOLD US HE DUMPED THE WASTE INTO OUR GROUND, THEY ALSO TOLD US THEY ROBBED US . MY HUSBAND CALLED CESSPOOL R US AND THE OWNER WAS VERY RUDE AND TOLD HIM TO GET IN LINE WITH THE REST OF THE PEOPLE,(THERE IS ALOT MORE BUT JUST TO SUM IT UP) YOU CAN CALL ME AND I WILL FILL YOU IN IF YOU NEED FURTHER INFORMATION, WE WE WERE TOLD BY OTHERS AFTER SHARING OUR STORY THAT THE OWNER AND HIS WIFE ARE VERY RUDE AND ARE ROBBING PEOPLE AND CONTAMINTING THE TOWN OF BABYLON!!! WE NEED TO GET THIS CROOKS BUSINESS SHUT DOWN, THERE ARE ALOT OF ELDERL PEOPLE BEING RIPPED OFF BY THESE GUYS!!!
